1. I'm ex-military. Army. Got out in 2003.
2. Was on high school varsity wrestling team.
3. I consider Christian theocrat conservatives and far leftists both equally brainwashed and annoying.
4. I exercise 6 days a week, but only 3 are gym days, and 3 at home. I have basic equipment out in the man/nerd cave.
5. Also, I started collecting collectible items. So far, I've got a Freddy Krueger glove and some replica belts from 90s wrestling.
6. I used to have bad arachnophobia, but I've grown less afraid of jumpers, and now try to pick them up if I see one. Let it crawl on my hand a minute. Curious little critters. I still am wary about the other varieties of spider, and if they're invading my space and procreating, they're done for.
7. I've used the term "bisexual" before, but romantically, I'm straight as an arrow. I'm just kinky.
8. I've had the chapter by chapter chronology and character bios laid out for a fantasy/fiction book I thought about writing for a WHILE now, but have yet to start typing out the first chapter.
9. I'm somewhat ambivert. Which means I have introvert and extrovert traits, but my extrovert side is held back by social anxiety. I still forced myself to get out and mingle, and have made several friends, locally. Chat is easier with people, the more we have in common, though.
10. I'm spending less time online, some weeks, because I'm having a much harder time managing a decent amount of sleep, work, gym, a little time daily to read, social time, and various errands.

 

1. I absolutely love the rain! Hearing it as I fall asleep, the smell of petrichor right before it starts, going for walks in it, just everything lol

Most people outside North America learn to drive on manual transmission vehicles. I prefer it to automatic transmission. My car's a manual transmission hatchback. You'll find yourself paying a lot more attention to your driving and much more aware of yourself and your own reactions.

 

Conversely, automatic transmissions are easier to learn and manage in slow traffic or tricky situations, don’t burn out clutches like they’re going out of style, and are much easier for persons with disabilities to operate.

There are pros and cons to most things.

 

1. I've never been arrested, but I've been in handcuffs several times.
2. I lost my virginity to one of my high school teachers. She also taught me how to pleasure a woman with my mouth.
3. I've met three former US Presidents. (Not sure if that is something to really brag about, though.)
4. I joined the Army in the mid 80s. I served for 6 years. Boot camp was one of the best experiences of my life.
5. I prefer cooking and eating at home.
6. I rarely discuss religion or politics. Those two topics always seem to spiral quickly into hate and anger.
7. I think people are beautiful. Period. Everyone has an amazing story to tell, if we would only take the time to close our mouths and listen.
8. My favorite holiday is Christmas. There's a part of me that still believes in Santa.
9. I rarely watch television. I think it's all garbage.
10. I'm Gen X. I did all of my university research work using the card catalogue system in libraries. I typed all of my papers using a manual typewriter.

1: I've had continuous employment since I was a teenager but have only had four different jobs.

2: I spent five years in the military and at one point turned down an offer to become a commissioned officer.

3: I can find something in common with virtually anyone. There are very few people that don't like me and there are very few people I don't like.

4: I love to travel. My "next" trip is usually being planned before I leave for the current trip.

5: I have a chihuahua and she is pretty funny

6: If I was at an Information Booth conference, someone would come to me with questions. Strangers constantly ask me questions and I think its pretty amusing.

7: I'm not a picky eater at all.

8: Being uncomfortable doesn't bother me. Hot, cold, wet, etc. It's all temporary.

9: Even though my screen name is SoutheastUSofA, I grew up in a very rural part of the northeast. It will always be my "home" and I miss it every day.

1. I was born lefthanded, but they made me learn to write righthanded in elementary school. As a result, I detest having to handwrite anything, and I avoid it if at all possible.
