I am correct. It wasn't Russia that wanted this war. It was the US. And the US doesn't give a cap about Ukraine. They are using Ukraine to fight their war. That was the purpose of the US orchestrating a regime change in 2014. It had nothing to do with Ukraine. It had to do with going to war with Russia. That's why the US put in a regime with nazi ties.

 

Yes I live in the UK with a better knowledge of world affairs than the average world citizen who lives in democracy west.In the UK they don't lock people up for protesting against the government. Or kill people who disagree with the leader.

Actually western governments are the worst countries for blocking freedom of speech. UK is one of the worst. They have a very high rate of people arrested for things they have posted online if it doesn't go with the narrative that the government is pushing. It's getting bad in Canada and the US as well.

Why has no one mentioned the attack on a beach in Crimea killing and injuring civilians. Mostly children. The weapon used was an American atacm missile armed with cluster minitions. The Intel came from the US. The programming was done by the US. So is the US military that incompetent or was this an intentional terrorist attack?
And the US government hasn't made any comment yet.

A mixed martial arts fighter and relatives of a regional official were among the gunmen who carried out attacks on places of worship in Russia’s Dagestan on Sunday, according to local authorities.

Russian state news agency TASS, quoting law enforcement agencies, reported Monday that five of the attackers who targeted the cities of Derbent and Makhachkala on Sunday had been identified.

Gunmen opened fire at multiple places of worship and a police traffic stop in the two cities in the Muslim-majority republic on Sunday, killing at least 15 police officers and at least four civilians, including an Orthodox priest, according to authorities.


Some of the attackers were from the Sergokalinsky district, which lies between the two cities, and were related to the head of the district, TASS reported.

Former mixed martial arts fighter Gadzhimurad Kagirov – a cousin of the head of the Sergokalinsky district Magomed Omarov – was among those who attacked sites in Derbent, according to TASS.

A son and a nephew of Omarov were also among the attackers, TASS reported.

The head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, told reporters Monday that Omarov had since been relieved from his post and expelled from one of the main parties in the Russian parliament, the United Russia party.

Melikov didn’t specify how many of Omarov’s relatives were allegedly involved in the attacks.

Melikov said he is not able to comment further on the degree of Omarov’s guilt and his possible participation in the attacks. “This is the task of the investigative authorities. But if his participation is confirmed, then there will be full responsibility,” he said.

However, he went on to say that regardless of whether he had direct involvement, Omarov, as a parent, bears responsibility for the actions of his children.

“Why did he, as the head of a municipality, as a member of the United Russia party, as a high-level leader, who has been serving for several years as the head of a municipality, whose duties are to take care of the entire population of the region, did not pay attention, missed the children [the children’s actions and possible red flags], and missed them so much that they became murderers,” he said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed a top general after public criticism about excessive casualties and accusations of incompetence.

Mr Zelensky did not give a reason for his decision, which he announced during his nightly video address on Monday.

However, only hours before, the chief of staff of the Azov Brigade, Maj Bohdan Krotevych, filed a complaint to the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), alleging that Gen Sodol "had more Ukrainian soldiers killed than any Russian general".

Attacking Russia may be a bad move. Russia lost its war in Afghanistan because most Russians did not feel threatened by Afghanistan, so they got tired of the war.

That was the reason we lost our wars in Vietnam and Afghanistan.

 

In WW11 the US Army faced a similar problem as the Russian's do today in Kursk .They held sector of the front held inexperienced troops. The Germans attacked with complete surprise overwhelming the US troops .What saved the day was General Patton with combat harden well trained troops moving a complete army in 3 days to seal the front line and to begin pushing back the Germany army which was called battle of the bulge.
The Russian army neither has the officer corps or the trained troops to eject Ukrainian army quickly and when they do try there casualties will be very heavy.Most of there best troops are dead or crippled and a lot of the ground vehicles are out of date Soviet era against fairly modern western equipment .
Also the Russian airforce is not very present what with them pulling back to keep ot out the way of Ukrainian drones attack on they bases and ammo stores.And possibly with a limited number of F16s now with long-range missiles a good radar and missle defence pods now operating flying CAP well back from the front line but near enough to cause problems for the Russian SU34 to launch there bombs.

A smiling Vladimir Putin said Russia will support Kamala Harris, as he gave an interview while attending the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia.

The Russian president also spoke about Ms Harris's "infectious laugh" and criticised former President Donald Trump's sanctions on the country.

Mr Putin's comments have been met with criticism, with US Security Council spokesman, John Kirby saying: "Mr Putin ought to stop talking about our elections, period. He shouldn't be favouring anybody one way or another".
