It was OK and productive

 

It was full of weirdness and drama.

 

Productive. Finished re-doing the home office furniture (Phase 2), and planned out what I'm looking for in the last part. Yep, alot of fix, hang, and redo.

Also booked a rental car and a safari for an upcoming trip.

 

It was a lazy day.

This morning started off on a bad note. Got declined again recent job application for company nearby. It got me aggravated because it was canned ass no reply email. Plus company never put subject in email.

Walked cherrypup around block twice. Also watched football and cut my hair.

Just got done cooking burgers and Italian sausages on grill.

Im laying on couch watching tv and need to gout outside to clean grill within the hour.

 

I got a lot done. I cleaned and washed my hair. Did some grocery shopping and made pasta salad for dinner. I’ll be making pumpkin bread with pecans later. And watching a movie

 

It's been great. No chores, no errands, just a nice nap and some movies.

1st time watch of 'Rebel Ridge' on Netflix. It was okay - a lot of time-consuming but fairly uninteresting turns to get to the bottom of this bad Southern town racist police/corruption story. Had some decent action, but was just 'okay.'


Next up was 'Vendetta' on Prime - Super SAS specialist takes revenge on the crew that killed his parents. Great action at times, with too much political posturing in the background. I liked it, and the star, Danny Dyer.


Then a second watching of Van Helsing, with Hugh Jackman - there's a reason I remembered little about this flick. It's throwaway big CGI budget nonsense that tries to build empathy through character relationships, but fails - just a bunch of fast-moving, flashy bullshit.


It's been a good-enough Sunday.

 

It was a no work day for 1 reason and it’s because my internet has been down. Issue started around 8 am and I’m still having issues. Have to take a PTO day.

My system went down at work so I just chatted with my work bestie for an hour or so. I brought my pumpkin pecan bread into work and it was a huge hit and I was a hero lol.

Came home and ordered in Mexican food. It was meh.

It was another day without internet till about an hour ago.

Found out issue that problem was related to coupler going out. Tech also replaced fiber box that was a 2nd gen model and company is already on 8th gen.

I’m laying on couch keeping cool and watching videos on YouTube now internet is up.

Tomorrow I have a meetup event a local bar and grill with country concert afterwards.

 

It was a busy first day back.

Phone calls were constant. Got cussed out by a customer that didn’t know how to use his customer so I hung up on him. I’m starting to get frustrated by how one side our calls are towards me and a colleague. On top of that our phone queues were never shut down at 4 pm.

I’m heading to meetup event at bar and grill and will return after 7 pm. I left late due to phones.

 

Today was fine. Someone offered to pay me for my baked goods. Maybe I’m in the wrong business lol.

Did nothing all night. I’m off the next 4 days so just winding down.

 

Just spent the last week plowing up the front and side yard, spreading some mulch and then turning that into the dirt. Heavy load of grass seed and fertilizer after that. The triple digit temps and no rain all summer took its toll on the yard. This rain coming in from the hurricane better come this way and give my work a good watering! I've worked too hard to not get anything out of it. Taking the rest of the week off and gonna be a bit lazy!

im going to be leaving soon for meetup event within the hour at venue in town I’ve been to in the most past. Will play it by ear if karaoke bar visit is offered.

 

Yesterday was super productive. I’m getting my new tv stand delivered today so I had to move the old one and get the space ready.

The new one is getting delivered today between 9 am and 1 pm so that sucks. Which is why I’m up so early on my day off.

 

Wrapped up a conference, got alot done. Getting ready for a conference call, and have A LOT to accomplish - on a Friday. Training week is rough.

Took today off too but didn’t make plans because I was expecting a delivery. But I got a lot of stuff done around here.

Tomorrow I’m spending the day at the salon and my appt is God awful early. Phooey.
