Where the hell is my snow? I was promised two feet. We got a quarter inch, and then it stopped.

Mother Nature has a strange sense of ha ha, snow and rain at the same time !!!

Going downtown to buy some strangers a free lunch, just to get away from the stockmarket for a few hours.

I watched or caught out of the corner of my eye, an article on the news this morning about how the cherry blossoms all died due to the temperature somewhere. That is normally such a pretty sight to see and they smell so good too.

Luckily mine don't bloom for at least another month or so.

 

Spring Break just started & we get some of the Coolest weather of the Winter !!

 

We are in a state of emergency due to the weather in Spokane and area . I just can't get away from trouble . We do have some very attractive female meteorologists here though so it is easy to look at but hard to hear .

 

6th day of snow! When will it end? -8 C so temp wise, pretty good w/c -11 -now waiting for it to end, snowfalls are stretched out for
many hours, stress level increased, work and sleep in shifts going on.

 

I should feel bad saying its hot and humid, but I don't

With recent rain and warm temperatures that are melting snow rapidly most of the Inland Northwest is experiencing heavy flooding . I spent the better part of the day helping residents fill sand bags to barricade their property as river waters continue to rise .
The Falls in Riverfront Park are unusually rapid and the Mayor has declared a state of emergency , even closing access to the suspension bridge over the Falls from sightseeing thrillseekers .

Entire parks are under water .
