  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

It's a remarkable fall from Grace. Unfortunately there is a thug element in a small portion of the NFL.
To be on top of the world and at the apex of your sport and to just piss it away is beyond ridiculous.

When Shooter ran river trips we had the annual "Bronco" trip.
There weren't any Broncos on the trip, we just called it that because it was put together by a bunch of professional football players. It was always a couple of weeks before training camp, no women were allowed, we had to bring an extra boat just to haul their booze, and it was always the most stressful trip of the year. For them it was their last blow out before they had to get serious again.

Professional football players are just really big, strong kids.

To call them thugs or stupid or irresponsible is a mistake.
Shooter found them to be intelligent, successful at what they did outside of football (one of them was a neurological research fellow and all were rich from stuff they did outside of Football, usually business they owned), and pretty much decent human beings. Except that they were so fucking strong and big it was difficult to keep them safe from their own drunken ribaldry.

But they were the best tippers we ever had.

No, which one? Shooter couldn't find it with Google.

Shooter does (did) personally know Floyd Little, perhaps the best running back the Broncos ever had. After he retired from the NFL he opened a string of car dealerships, which is where Shooter met him. Shooter has seen literally hundreds of car dealership human resource practices, and thought Floyd's was one of the best. He was mentoring sales people before that became "the thing" in dealer practice.
Floyd is now an assistant coach at Syracuse (his alma mater). Sadly, Floyd closed his dealerships when the 2008 recession hit, but it wasn't because of his business sense or his intelligence. Like many dealers at the time, he was squeezed by the manufacturers and the economy
Oh, and by the way, Floyd is black.

It was one of the Saints. He had to go to court to force Nissan to sell him a dealership in Jackson, Ms.
When it failed, because of his ignorance, he sued again because Nissan should have known he wasn't smart enough to handle it.
I don't keep up with kids games and can't remember is name but it was in the local papers and on local news.
I thought it was sort of funny.

It was New Orleans Saint Deuce McAllister and it was more complicated than that. McAllister alleged Nissan introduced him to a former Nissan manager who was unsuited to manage a dealership, and who stole from it. He counter sued when Nissan sued him for $1.5 Million in debt that wasn't paid by the dealership.
McAllister owned another dealership that was successful, as well as "other business and real estate holdings"

Maybe he was taught a lesson. If you are stupid and want to buy a business first thing you should do is get someone to do all of the decision making for you.
It was still funny. Him trying to sue because he was ignorant.

Yeah, but you know what, I'm going to backtrack on my post.

Don't know what I was thinking. I think I fell into the hype or something.

This is a classic of, "the more evidence comes out to explain what happened, the more people want to believe something else."

At this point I'd have to see hard forensic evidence of foul play. Foreign footprints in the cell, or foreign handprints on his person. Something like that.

All the evidence says he hung himself, and it gets stronger by the hour.

Seafoam1 (above) nails it. The fall from grace.

At first I thought, he was just acquitted of the drive by shooting. He just got a WIN. So why off himself, now?

That's true. But imagine the let down. You're still a murderer. This is all there is for you. This, and only this. Epic fail.

And oddly enough, by killing himself, due to the odd laws concerning such matters, he accomplishes the one thing that no appeal judge would ever grant him: the first murder is expunged. By killing himself, he clears his name.

He had John 3:16 written on his forehead. Says it all.

3-16 for god so loved the world he gave his only begotten son that whoever shall ..... ever lasting life.....

I did not see that anyplace.....

except he was more than likely catholic as a kid and suicide to them is the only unforgivable sin....

sure was a waste of a hell of a ball player.....

He was big and he was strong. Had it been a murder there would be signs of a struggle. It was suicide.

Maybe Hernandez should have hired his attorney from the second case for the first case. That dude got Casey Anthony off more ways than one.

Celebrities have a very hard time adjusting to prison life and there are a number of people who can't handle time in prison. My first week of orientation, I did a face plant, and the trainers were expecting it.

Here is a kicker for you ...

Under Massachusetts law, if one dies while in custody before ALL avenues for appeal are exhausted all charges are vacated ... technically he died an innocent man ...

Apparently he had a bible verse written on his forehead when found ...

basically what clarice said above but I did not understand the law in it....

      she said.....

I can understand why he did what he did.
In my case I will not need to hang myself.
I can will myself to die.
That and never eating a single thing while I am locked in a cell makes my stay a one way street.

More than likely Aaron Hernandez had been planning to kill himself long before he actually did. I think the realization of his situation had sunk in. He was coming to terms with the fact he would be living the rest of his life in a cage with no chance to ever live the life he gave up when he entered that prison.

Before he went to prison he was living a dream life as a player on one of the best NFL teams. He had money, women, fame and pretty much anything he wanted including drugs with no limits. He watched as a team he was once on was now Super Bowl champs again and he knew he could have been part of it and more if he hadn't thrown his life away with thug stupidity.

Now all of that was gone and he was still a young man who would probably live another 50-60 years and it would be in prison until he dies.

He came to the conclusion that the end justified the means...

Just heard that the parents are donating his brain to science ... maybe it will help in the study of CTE.

Sad part is that they are taking the medical examiners office to court to get it back ...
