A little light hearted fun poking at allies and friends is just part of the comradery we should have among ourselves.

But credit where credit is due.
Shooter found some interesting articles on Canadian forces fighting ISIS and the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Canada does not need to take a back seat to anyone when it comes to the character and ability of their military.
    Including the USA.
Although, them beanies they wear ......................:p

And Shooter watched a fascinating movie about the UN in the Congo in 1961, when civil war broke out. The UN sent a light infantry group of Irish to a UN base to serve as peace keepers (Shooter knows; who knew Ireland even HAD 150 in the military!). In any case, the UN peace keeping base turned out to be a little town, strategically unimportant and indefensible. The mine owners in the area hired 1,500 mercenaries, most of them former French legionnaires, as a counter and soon enough the shit hit the fan. The untested Irish held off the Battle hardened French for 5 days without any support or reinforcement before surrendering when they had fired their last bullets-twice. (neat story about that, no time to explain though so Google it). It took another 5 years to quell the civil war, and sadly, over 40 years for Ireland to honor the courage and skill of their best and brightest.
Of special note; defending an indefensible position against better armed, better skilled mercenaries and not a single Irish fighter was killed.

I don't like posting articles like these but it needs to be done but tread carefully as you read it/reply if you don't want me to list the 100's of Americans that are already on it ...

Two Canadians the latest addition to U.S.'s most-wanted terrorist list

TORONTO -- Two Canadians are the latest addition to the United State's list of most-wanted terrorists that says the men are a threat to American national security and economic interests.

The decision to add 24-year-old Farah Mohamed Shirdon and 30-year-old Tarek Sakr to the list of Specially Designated Global Terrorists was published Wednesday in an official register of U.S. government regulations.

In an online bulletin, the State Department identifies Sakr as a Syrian-born Canadian citizen who has conducted sniper training for the Al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusrah Front. Canadian-born Shirdon, who the Americans say also goes by the name of Abu Usamah, is a prominent fighter, as well as recruiter and fundraiser for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

Farah Mohamed Shirdon is shown in this undated picture. (RCMP)

"Today's action notifies the U.S. public and the international community that Sakr and Shirdon are actively engaged in terrorism," the U.S. State Department said in a release online.

In September 2015, the RCMP laid terrorism several charges in abesentia against Shirdon, including participation in the activity of a terrorist group and instructing others to carry out terrorist activity.

The charges against the Calgary man came a year after an ISIS video surfaced of him burning his Canadian passport. Police say Shirdon -- who left Canada on March 14, 2014, to fight with the Islamic State in Syria -- was last known to be in the city of Raqqa.

"Our investigation showed that Shirdon served in a combat role and performed other functions for ISIS such as recruiting, fundraising, encouraging others to commit violence and spreading propaganda," RCMP Assistant Commissioner Marlin DeGrand said when the charges against Shirdon were laid.

One charge also relates to threats Shirdon allegedly made in a video interview with media outlet Vice in September 2014. In the video of that interview, a man calling himself Abu Usamah promised there was going to be a "brilliant" attack in New York and ISIS's flag would fly over the White House.

The U.S. notice about Sakr says he "has conducted sniper training in Syria and periodically travels to Turkey," but a spokesman for Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale would not give more information about the Canadian man.

"For national security and privacy reasons, the Government of Canada cannot provide information on Tarek Sakr," Scott Bardsley said in an email Sunday to The Canadian Press.

Bardsley said Sakr does not face criminal charges in Canada and the government "cannot comment on who is or is not the subject of a criminal investigation as this falls under the independent realm of police agencies."

People on the Specially Designated Terrorists list are banned from using the U.S. financial system and bars American citizens from helping them or sending money. The list also includes the likes of Hamza bin Laden, the son of Al-Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden, as well as two men linked to the Paris attacks in 2015 that killed 130 people.

Other Canadians who have been added to the list are Hassan el-Hajj Hassan, who allegedly participated a 2012 bus bombing in Bulgaria that killed five Israelis, and Michel Samaha, a former Lebanese minister of information and tourism who also holds Canadian citizenship.

The Trump administration announced it will impose a 20 percent tariff on imported softwood lumber from Canada.

The dispute is not new — the United States and Canada have sparred over imports of forest products for decades. But the action comes as the two nations prepare to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA, which President Trump has harshly criticized.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said the tariff will be applied retroactively.

"We tried to negotiate a settlement but we were unable," just as previous administrations were also unable to resolve the dispute with Canada, Mr. Ross said, adding that the Trump administration has notified Canada of its decision."

Ross' announcement is the beginning of a process involving several U.S. government agencies, which must determine that the domestic timber industry has suffered harm before the tariff can be imposed.

The U.S. timber industry has complained for decades that Canada subsidizes its lumber products, which are then sold at below-market prices in the United States.

Canada objected to the U.S. move, as reported by Reuters:

"Canadian Natural Resources Minister Jim Carr and Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland said in a joint statement that Commerce's accusations 'are baseless and unfounded' and would raise U.S. home construction and renovation costs."

Trump had focused his unhappiness regarding trade primarily on China and Mexico — until last week, when he criticized Canadian restrictions on imports of U.S. dairy products, as reported by The Associated Press:

"We can't let Canada or anybody else take advantage and do what they did to our workers and to our farmers," Trump said in the Oval Office. "Included in there is lumber, timber and energy. We're going to have to get to the negotiating table with Canada very, very quickly.' "

"The president took issue with Canadian changes on milk classification that he said have put farmers in Wisconsin and New York state out of business. Canada changed its policy on pricing domestic milk to cover more dairy ingredients, leading to lower prices for Canadian products including ultra-filtered milk that compete with U.S. milk.

"Canada, what they've done to our dairy farm workers, is a disgrace. It's a disgrace," Trump said."

There aren't a lot of exporters here compared to the US (five will be tariffed) and the tax will hit some harder than others. West Frasier will take a 24 percent hit while Irving will only take a 3 percent hit and Resolute 12 percent, Canfor and Tolko will see that 20 percent tariff.

Trump isn't done yet, he is going after the dairy industry too. Americans have far lower standards with their milk than we do here plus there is still a protectionist regulation (supply management) in place here that props up prices and we pay through the teeth for dairy products here but get quality in return. The tariff on US milk is over 250 % . One notable exception is ultrafiltered milk and other protein-rich dairy ingredients used to make dairy products such as cheese and yogurt. North American free-trade rules do not cover these ingredients, so they enter Canada duty-free.

Btw the US experiences a large trade surplus with Canada even with the tariffs and they flood markets here and at home and squeeze out the little guy.

The expense of building the average American home will rise by $3,000.00. The price of softwood lumber is already at a all time high and so are sales to China.

The new tariffs are a precursor to renewing NAFTA talks since this is a separate agreement.

This fight has been going on since the 80's and the SLA is separate treaty outside of the NAFTA agreement and the SLA expired in 2015 which left the US administration free to tax (yes tax) SL as they see fit BUT both Trump and Congress treaded lightly in coming up with tariff numbers and they are still fine tuning it with a consideration that east coast lumber will be excluded from tariffs as well as some products will also avoid the new tariffs but that list is still a work in progress. Trump is not strong arming Canada but is simply dealing with the mess that Obama left behind when he couldn't come up with satisfactory numbers upon it's expiry, Trudeau dropped the ball too and figured if they forgot about it, it would just go away ...

This is the 5th time that this battle has been waged and previously Canada took the USA to WTO to make it's case and the US lost that argument claiming that they were basically subsidizing Softwood Lumber producers. There is some jockeying that went on here too with the dairy issue coming into play and "a fly on the wall" told me that concessions are forthcoming to offset higher tariffs in this issue.

Trump is just chest beating with his tough talk but behind the scenes has a valued appreciation for Canada as a trading partner and there is no "my way or the highway" in his dealings and this whole tariff ordeal was already expected over a year ago but he could have dug his claws in deeper if he wanted to shoot himself in the foot. It is a contentious issue that involves a lot of workers (voters) so they have to look like they are backing those that complain that they can't compete ... there are a host of developing nations that are all to happy to take our lumber if you don't want it, the fuckers that chop down tree's are just to lazy to go out and get new customers because they have had it good in the USA for so long and there aren't any oceans to cross to get it there.

Market share has yet to be worked out as well and the American producers think we have too big a share of your market but the last time that a 27 % duty (tax) was applied in the early 2000's, 15,000 people lost their jobs in BC alone and this one will have a similar effect on the industry. We are better off selling to other countries but it isn't that simple as the USA needs Canada as much as we need them in this matter, for the time being ...

For all you treehuggers: for every tree that is felled 5 new ones are planted.

The end user will barely notice the increase since prices are negotiable. It is the builders that it will hurt the most for raw material costs and you know they will cut corners somewhere to make up that increase and the consumer can expect cheaper amenities in the interior unless they special order them ... you can also expect sq. ft. labor payments will be a victim as well.

Trudeau had 18 months to fix this and dragged his feet on the issue and here we are ... BUT Obama didn't want to be "that guy" that hit us with these new tariffs either which was good but it left a hell of a mess to deal with.

I could use more colorful phrases to describe that agreement but outdated works too ...

Adding Mexico to that agreement was a mistake and I pay my employees in a month what Mexicans make in a year, they can afford to undercut us the same way China can ... with slave labor and substandard working conditions and an iron fist.

‘They had a lot of money’: Canadian and her U.S. boyfriend ambushed in robbery turned double-murder

    Screenshot_178.jpg

Police in Belize confirm a Canadian woman and her American boyfriend were murdered shortly before she was scheduled to leave the Central American country where they were wintering.

The police theory is that it was a robbery gone wrong.

The bodies of Francesca Matus, 52, of Keswick, Ont., and Drew DeVoursney, 36, from Georgia, were found Monday afternoon in a sugar cane field in the Corozal district, near Belize’s northern border with Mexico.

“For sure it shows murder, this is a homicide investigation,” said a police official in Belize who did not wish to have his name published.

“Both bodies were found together in some bushes and were starting to decompose by the time they were found.” He said the bodies were on top of each other, with DeVoursney’s body over top of Matus’ body.

“We believe they had a lot of money in their possession and someone tried to rob them.”

Decomposition made it difficult to determine the cause of death without an autopsy, the police official said; there were obvious signs of trauma. After an on-site autopsy, police announced the cause of death as strangulation Tuesday.

DeVoursney’s mother said the American embassy told her that the pair were found with duct tape wrapped around their wrists. Bound wrists suggest an abduction or an attempt to get them to do something or go somewhere against their will.

DeVoursney was a former U.S. Marine and his close friend and fellow veteran expressed dismay that he would be killed in this manner.

A GoFundMe campaign has been dedicated to bringing Drew DeVoursney’s body back to the United States from Belize.

GoFundMeA GoFundMe campaign has been dedicated to bringing Drew DeVoursney’s body back to the United States from Belize.
“Someone had killed a United States Marine, my brother in arms, who survived Fallujah, Iraq and Afghanistan,” Brandon Barfield wrote on a GoFundMe campaign, first established to help the search for a missing couple but now dedicated to bringing DeVoursney’s body back to the United States.

DeVoursney had been living in Corozal since December, Barfield said.

“It breaks my heart knowing that Drew and I have survived so many near death situations and laughed about it, and now I have to bring his body home.

“Today is the day where I demand answers to so many questions all of us have about this whole mysterious abduction and their senseless deaths.” Barfield and DeVoursney’s brother were en route to Belize Tuesday.

Matus had also been living in Belize since December, said her cousin Ivana Pucci, enjoying life on her waterfront property. She used to spend winters in the Central American country and return to the Toronto area for summer and fall to be with her mother and her two twin sons, aged 22, Pucci said.

“She loved it there and felt safe,” Pucci said. “She did tell us it was lawless there, but she felt safe in her little community.”

Her boys, brother and mother are grieving together in the Toronto area, Pucci said.

Matus grew up in Sault Ste. Marie as part a sprawling Italian-Canadian family, she said. Matus moved to Toronto after college and became a mortgage broker, which she still did for half of the year. She loved the water and boating in Belize, she said.

“She was 52 in a 35-year-old body,” Pucci said. “She really was such a beautiful person — both inside and out — and she did not deserve this,” Pucci said. “Nobody does.”

Pucci didn’t know much about Matus’s relationship with DeVoursney, but said she appeared to be happy.

DeVoursney and Matus had been dating for a few months before they were last seen last Tuesday night leaving Scotty’s Bar and Grill in Corozal.

Friends says Matus was supposed to fly back to Toronto the next day, but she wasn’t at home when a friend arrived to drive her to the airport. She was reported missing to police after neither she nor DeVoursney could be reached on their cell phones.

A large contingent of Canadian and American expats — about 100 — had been scouring the area over the past week in a desperate search to find the couple. They met up at Scotty’s bar and then fanned out.

“They had a lot of friends here, they were very popular,” said Colin McGowan, one of the owners of Scotty’s. Both Matus and DeVoursney frequented the establishment and made friends easily. McGowan said friends spontaneously started searching places where they thought something could have happened to them but the search was disorganized. He stepped in to regiment the efforts.

He said about 100 people, both expats and locals, volunteered to help both search for the couple and spread the word to local residents. Searchers traced various routes they might have gone after leaving the bar, McGowan said.

News of the discovery has left them in “shock and disbelief,” he said.

The car they were driving, a white 1998 Rodeo Isuzu SUV, was found on Sunday.

The bodies were found between Chan Chen village and Patchakan village on a small road leading to a sugar cane field, about six kilometres from where they were last seen.

Canada’s diplomatic corps is monitoring the case.

“Our thoughts are with the loved ones of the Canadian citizen who passed away in Belize. Consular services are being provided to the family during this difficult time. Canadian consular officials continue to liaise with local authorities to gather additional information,” said Austin Jean, a spokesman with Global Affairs Canada.

No further information was available out of privacy concerns, Jean said.

Interesting question that has as many answers as it does people that live in Canada.

It depends on what you like, Vancouver is georgeous and has everything that the mind could imagine within driving distance if not in the city itself ... it rains a lot.

The East coast is so spectacular that you think you are looking at a postcard the first time you witness it, the people are so friendly it's scary lol. Lobster is NOT cheap there like some believe. Employment is tough there though so if you aren't well off you might want to visit but not live there.

Toronto and area are stunning and are a desired place to move by some that like well established cities and there are satellite cities in the entire area that are even more desirable by many. You pay through the teeth for everything there though and your dollar goes way further out west. There is high crime there too but it is the second most populous area in all of Canada so it comes with the territory.

Montreal has an incredible amount of culture and is the oldest part of now Canada and has everything you would want as well ... only problem with Montreal is that french people live there lol.

Winnipeg has more lakes than you could ever waterski and also has more mosquitos than, well it just does lol. It is winter there 8 months out of the year and has a high crime rate. It's basically a shithole ...

Regina/Saskatoon are farming cities in the least populated province and again if you are well off and like being able tyo watch your dog run away for a week at a time due to it's flatness you might last a month there.

Edmonton and Calgary are modern cities and hate each other but are both beautiful and prosperous and are among the fastest growing cities in all of N America. I am from Calgary but also own a home in Edmonton and am supposed to hate it here but I love it.

One note: Canadian cities tend to be much bigger than most American cities and to have a population of less than at least a million is unheard of ...

I prefer the west and west coast personally and am a 30 minute flight in my helicopter to the mountains/hot springs so love it right where I am.

100In1Day Canada is part of a global initiative with the goal to inspire change in cities across the country by compelling residents to activate 100 innovative, thought-provoking ideas into interventions to enhance their city all on one day.

100In1Day (first known as 100en1dia) was started in 2012 by a group of design students in Bogotá, Colombia that intended to launch six urban interventions that would maximize the potential of their city. Over beers they decided to be more ambitious and launch 100 urban interventions that would take place in one day.

On May 25, 2012, over 250 urban interventions took place in Bogotá, and a phenomenon was born. It has since spread to over 31 cities around the world.

Don't know about your city but here in Edmonton we are digging deep and the community is loving this new project. Lots of things planned including the first porch front concert lol. A couple will hold a concert in their front yard and she plays flute, he violin and make beautiful music together lol.

The "Fringe" is still the one to beat here annually and is world famous ...

Quebec enlists Canadian Forces in fight against rising floodwaters
Eastern Ontario, parts of Quebec and most of New Brunswick all under rainfall warnings

Unrelenting rain is worsening a flood crisis in Central Canada that has already forced Quebec to call in military aid.

The Quebec government says the Canadian Forces have been enlisted to help battle the floodwaters in that province, where the storm has been most severe.

The troops are headed to Gatineau, Laval, Rigaud and the Mauricie region of Quebec. Another unit will be set up as a command post in Montreal. In total, between 350 and 400 military personnel have been deployed.

    Hundreds abandon their homes
More than 120 Quebec communities have been hit by flooding and 857 people have been asked to leave their homes, according to Quebec authorities. More than 1,500 homes are flooded and 340 roads have been affected.

Environment Canada says a massive system is slowly drenching much of Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes. Record precipitation levels have threatened to trigger widespread flooding in those areas.

Rainfall advisories were lifted for the large urban areas of Montreal and Toronto early Saturday, but are still in place in eastern Ontario (including Kingston and Ottawa), parts of Quebec and most of New Brunswick.

Rainfall amounts could range as high as 90 millimetres in Kingston, 130 millimetres from Sept-Îles to Natashquan, Que., and 100 millimetres in southwestern New Brunswick.

A special weather statement says much of Nova Scotia could see close to 50 millimetres of rain.

    Bridge closure
In Montreal, a rehabilitation centre and a 76-unit condo have both been evacuated due to the swelling Rivière des Prairies.

Residents of the rehab centre have been taken to other health-care centres, where they'll stay for the next three weeks.

Île Mercier, an island of some 50 properties in Montreal, is completely underwater and has been under an evacuation order since Wednesday.

Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre says the city may have to consider forcibly removing the 20 or so householders who have refused to leave, even as the only bridge connecting it to the rest of the city was shut down.

In Gatineau, Que., near Ottawa, around 400 people have been forced out of more than 200 homes as the Ottawa River rises.

Homeowner Jonathan Brennan told CBC News he'd been working since Monday to prevent his property from being flooded.

"Right now, I had to make a decision between pumping outside of my wall that I made or just take care of my basement," he said. "Because people didn't have a chance to prepare, there is old people around, there are abandoned houses ... If we had help from the army earlier, probably I wouldn't be like this right now.

"It's not that I failed, but I tried so hard. I don't know what to do anymore."

    State of emergency
On the other side of the river, the Ontario community of Clarence-Rockland declared a state of emergency in anticipation of continuing heavy rain.

The area's Chief Administrative Officer, Helen Collier, briefed residents Saturday, explaining that drinking water is safe but well water is not.

Electricity was cut off on one road where a house was floating away, tethered only by power lines, the mayor said.

There have also been states of emergency declared in Gracefield, Pontiac and Oka.

Quebec's Minister of Public Security, Martin Coiteau, said that members of the Armed Forces have now joined municipal services, fire departments, police and civil security services in the relief effort.

Quebec's Environment Minister, David Heurtel, said on Friday that the rain forecast is "beyond the worst scenarios that have occurred in the last 55 years."

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promised the federal government was ready to do whatever it can to help people deal with the flooding and its cleanup.

    A month's worth of rain
In New Brunswick, emergency officials are concerned about water levels and keeping a close eye on rivers and streams, including the St. John River.

In the southwestern part of the province, residents were warned that nearly a month's worth of rain was expected to fall in 24 hours.

CBC meteorologist Kalin Mitchell said the the rain would continue overnight Saturday and into Sunday morning. Some areas had already seen 50 mm by midday Saturday.

'I've never seen the lake come this close'
In their lakeshore home in Stoney Creek, Ont. on Friday, LeeAnn Lemay and Toni Burke peered out through the back window as the waves from Lake Ontario crashed over the retaining wall onto their small backyard.

Heavy rain has fuelled the high lake levels, sparking concerns about flooding and damage among some southern Ontario homeowners whose houses hug the shoreline of the lake.

"I've never seen the lake come this close to the house," said Burke, who has lived in the area, located just outside of Hamilton, for over 40 years. "I have seen storms like this, but the lake wasn't so high.

"The water goes directly right across the street. So both sides of the street get it, it's not just the lakefront."

Next door to Lemay and Burke, the house built much closer to the shore took the full brunt of the waves, as the overflow from Lake Ontario crept into the front yard, flooding the whole area.

"Worst we've ever seen, absolute worst we've ever seen," said Lemay. "I'm concerned about our wall staying sturdy."

Lake Ontario's water levels are the highest they've been since 1993.

Bill Chornomaz, who works out of a home on the same street as Burke and Lemay, said water has already begun to leak inside.

"People are going to be experiencing flooding, no doubt," he said. "There will be basement flooding for sure."

    Look at your insurance policy
When it comes to flooding, it would seem that many Canadians are unprepared. The University of Waterloo surveyed 2,300 homeowners who live in areas designated as high-risk flood areas. But nearly all (94 per cent) were unaware of that risk.

The study also found that those surveyed did not know recent government policy changes put the onus on homeowners to insure their homes specifically for flooding.

"Canadians pay $600 million out of pocket for flood damage every year," Jason Thistlethwaite, an assistant professor at the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development at the University of Waterloo, said in a statement.

"With disaster-assistance costs expected to double over the next five years, homeowners can't afford to remain in the dark about their options and responsibilities."

The Liberal Government tabling a Passenger Bill Of Rights today to get in front of the latest bullshit that the airlines are cramming down the public's throats. You can google it if you care. The USA could learn a few things from other countries that actually give shit about it's people, Canada included.

I am taking a commercial flight today and at least am going business class, away from where flying waitresses wreak havoc on passengers lol.

Hey fellow Albertans, get ready for the shit to hit the fan ...

PC and Wildrose leaders sign agreement in principle to unite parties
The leaders of Alberta's PC and Wildrose parties have signed an agreement to establish the framework to bring them together and say ratification plans are underway.

Jason Kenney and Brian Jean met in Edmonton on Thursday and announced that they have signed an agreement in principle (AIP) and that the new party will be called the United Conservative Party.

“If approved by the membership of the parties it would set us on a path to regain control of our province for now and for future generations,” said Jean.

Premier Rachel Notley dismissed the threat of a Wildrose/PC merger on Thursday, saying the two parties are in danger of 'falling off the map'.

“This is a great day, an historic day for Alberta. Together we have decided to put our province ahead of our parties, to look to the future rather than the past because we understand we are stronger united,” said Kenney. “This agreement ensures the defeat of the disastrous NDP government and the election of a free enterprise government that renews the Alberta Advantage.”

The agreement will have to be ratified by the memberships of each party, which will happen in the coming weeks.

“If approved by the membership of the parties it would set us on a path to regain control of our province for now and for future generations,” said Jean.

“To the many Albertans who are struggling today, this agreement sends a clear message: that help is on the way,” said Kenney.

Premier Notley spoke at an engagement in Carstairs earlier in the day and said that the two parties have been talking about a merger for a while but it doesn't change her government's thinking.

"We are a government that is focused on making life better for Albertans. We are a government who was elected at a time when the economy was going into one of its deepest recessions in more than one generation and there was a choice to be made. Our government made a choice that we would have the back of Albertans, support them and work with them to bring the economy to recovery,” she said. "Whether it's the Wildrose or the Tories, they clearly agree on things like making massive cuts to services in order to finance tax breaks for people at the top one percent. They agree collectively on the fact that they are not particularly supportive of LGBTQ rights. They can't seem to agree that a school lunch program is a good thing."

Jason Kenny and Brian Jean. Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee. The Tories in Alberta drove the bus for over forty years unopposed and when they drove the bus into the ditch they blamed the passengers.

Problem is that Notley inherited a pile of shit to clean up at a time when oil went into the crapper and fucked any hope of a balanced or surplus budget any time soon and had to make some hard choices along with the learning curve after wiping the PC's off the map and making more than a few mistakes to date. She is getting her stride but it is the NDP we are talking about in the end ... I was asked to run for Ward 5 but too many people "know where the bodies are buried" LOL.

I knew her dad Grant and although we were not that close politically, he was a humanitarian that passed that down to Rachel, I like her but don't necessarily agree with her all the time. I have been involved in some form in Alberta politics for years whether lobbying, testifying at hearings, getting politicians to sponsor bills or just being acquaintances with some that I donated toward their campaign with ulterior motives lol.

Jason Kenney is a Steven Harper croney and that alone is enough for me to want to spit in his face. Brian Jean is a decent guy and we spoke a few times during the Ft Mac fire tragedy and he really does have a big heart to make up for the smaller brain LOL.

Point is that there may be a backlash come election time and she may end up with "hillary flu" that can be a real killer ...

We used to use McLeod Trail as our personal speedway back in the olden days when they still used to pretty much roll up the sidewalks at 6pm in Calgary lol. We moved to Deerfoot Trail after that before it actually lead out of the city ...

The south one was mostly country music where the downtown one was rock. I used to do sound for bands in the downtown location and there were times when we would sneek our drinks out the back door and go watch Loverboy practise in a garage across the alley from it. Me and the band have been tight since then and Matt has done work for me in my studio doing overdubs on drum tracks for clients.

I made a demo tape for a band that went to Sony and the guy once said "wow that drummer sounds good and sounds a lot like Matt Frenette" LOL. Streetheart and Harlequin were others I did sound for there.
