But that's not what you said. You said that it wasn't about the gun and insinuated that you could be just as deadly with Lucille (Walking Dead reference for those not in the know), and I said that was ridiculous. Put that modified bat in the hands of a 3 year old and it's not that scary. A loaded gun? Pretty scary in the hands of a three year old. Now I get that there are a lot of ways to kill people, but few are as easy to get that match the deadliness of a good handgun. That is why we buy them, after all. If I walked into my neighborhood gun shop (and, yes, we do have a neighborhood gun shop) and the man behind the counter told that "this here baby is as deadly as a baseball bat with barbed wire wrapped around it", then I'm probably not buying that gun. That's not even considering the stopping power of some of the nastier types of ammo.

Some people love living in there own little fantasy world where a stick is as deadly as a gun. When in the real world someone will take that stick away from you and shove it their ass.

According to the form that I fill out to purchase a weapon He should have been denied or delayed for 3 days. If he bought the weapon it was the gov't mistake.
