I dislike guns. It has been years since I have fired one. Back then a friend asked me to go to a rifle range with him and shoot a revolver he had just bought.

In the United States gun ownership has become a cultural issue. Millions of men derive a feeling of masculine identity and pride from their ownership of guns. Millions of men and women in the United States, including me, and millions more in countries belonging to the civilized world, think that the American love affair with the gun is pretty disgusting.

Nevertheless, I perceive of my feelings as facts about me, rather than truths about the universe. Over the years I have become an agnostic about guns. I have read that in areas where one is allowed to get a permit to carry a concealed hand gun the crime rate has declined somewhat.

I have also read that many countries with stricter gun regulations than the United States also have higher murder rates. Murder rates correlate with the racial composition of a country far more than the strictness of gun laws.

Races that have practiced civilization the longest have lower murder rates. This is because for several thousand years criminal justice systems in civilized countries killed those with crime genes before most of them could pass on their bad genes.

I am in favor of some gun control laws. Nevertheless, I doubt that gun control is the panacea most liberals think it is. I think the best ways to reduce the crime rate is to introduce free abortion on demand, and to have more and longer prison sentences under conditions of ferocious cruelty. The kind of females who are most likely to have abortions are also most likely to give birth to boy babies who grow up to become criminals. Those females are unmarried, and have low IQ's. Since the passing of the Roe vs Wade decision in 1973 millions of potential criminals have been destroyed in the womb.

In the underclass, having served time in a maximum security prison is often seen as a status symbol. This would change of all ex cons were old men who were horribly scarred and crippled both physically and psychologically by the abuse of the prison system.

It might be a good idea to castrate convicts too. This would make them more docile and easier for the prison guards to handle. It would also prevent convicts from passing on their crime genes, in the unlikely event that they survived decades of abuse in prison, and were released. Castration would also remove some of the prestige of having served time in a maximum security prison.

 

Well this is kind of stupid. This was not a school shooting. It was another Incel shooting. And as far as school shootings the shooters are usually far right, often racist, and at least one was an avid Trump supporter. So instead of blaming schools and teachers we should be blaming far right politics and Trump.

I don't see anyone blaming the gun. Which shows you are just a little hysterical. This one can be blamed on lack of pussy. And since Incel violence seems to be increasing it would be a great public safety service if conservative women would get out there and start handing out some mercy fucks to keep guys like this from going over the edge. Like some of the guys we see around here.

As shown in the screenshot, one poster is already using a picture of Beierle as the profile's avatar.



A member of the forum characterized the shooter as a “legend,” while another complained that he "only killed 2" women:



Another thread warned readers that nothing will stop sexually frustrated men from going on rampages. The thread featured “an open letter to cucks” (the far-right’s go-to insult against those perceived as weak for embracing political correctness) supposedly explaining “why you can’t do shit about people going ER,” using incel shorthand for Elliot Rodger.

The poster warned “cucks” and “foids” (a dehumanizing term incels apply to women) that they will “NEVER, EVER, EVER” stop men who are frustrated sexually from seeing “blackpill content online” and getting inspired to go on killing rampages. “Blackpill content” refers to messaging telling men who consider themselves involuntary celibate that the world is stacked against them and there “can be no personal solutions to systemic problems.”



Replies to the open letter looked like battle cries: “We’ll get down every one of you,” one user wrote; another, who bragged about having an AK-47 semi-automatic rifle, posted, “Come and take me”:



Other posters called on other incels to build "muscular physiques" that make them strong enough to "hurt others":



A member of the forum speculated about whether an account that had posted “going ER” on November 2 in a similar forum for incels, Truecels.org, belonged to the shooter. Truecels includes a board called “hall of heroes” that honors -- among others -- Rodger, terrorist Timothy McVeigh, and Yamaguchi Otoya, a far-right assassin who killed the leader of the Japanese socialist party in 1960. Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes recently honored Yamaguchi Otoya by re-enacting the violent murder at the Metropolitan Republican Club in New York City.

Accounts in these forums are anonymous, so anyone with an account can participate on different message threads. Members can also participate on Discord and Telegram chats after some vetting from the community. In the Truecels forum, posters also questioned whether the shooter had an account, expressing concern that screenshots of his profile could inspire a feminist “to stage a crisis to make it look like incels are violent … right before an election:”



In just the past two weeks, four far-right extremists have gone on violent, hate-fueled attacks around the U.S. On October 24, 51-year-old Gregory Bush attempted to enter a predominantly Black church in Jeffersontown, KY, before heading to a Kroger grocery store where he shot two Black people, the first in the store and the second in the parking lot. Two days later, a man with a long record of posting right-wing content and threats online mailed explosive devices to prominent Democratic figures and the cable news network CNN. On October 27, a man who posted virulently anti-Semitic messages on the website Gab, known as a “haven for white nationalists,” went on a murderous rampage in a synagogue in Pittsburgh, PA.

Given the violent posts about women, racial and ethnic minorities, and religious groups that can be easily found in online forums, and the common thread of far-right content posting among attackers, it’s not far-fetched to think that the next far-right violent attack might be brewing online. On mainstream social media platforms like Twitter, extremism is not particularly difficult to find: The incels forum links to its an official Twitter account, and accounts that post anti-Semitic and white supremacist content fly under the radar undisturbed. And yet, right-wing media figures refuse to either connect the dots between far-right rhetoric and the extremism it inspires or take responsibility for mainstreaming and empowering extremists.

‘Multiple fatalities’ reported in bar shooting in Thousand Oaks, Calif. during ‘college night’ gathering
Authorities in Thousand Oaks, Calif., northwest of Los Angeles, reported “multiple fatalities” at a bar and dance hall late Wednesday after multiple shots were fired by a man inside.

“There are multiple fatalities,” Ventura County Sheriff’s Sgt. Eric Buschow told reporters on the scene. He did not provide a specific number.

Buschow said he believed the suspect was dead inside the Borderline Bar and Grill.

A spokesman for the sheriff’s department, Capt. Garo Kuredjian, gave a preliminary estimate of more than 11 people shot, including a deputy, and said he would “guess, if anything, that number would go up.”



The reports of a shooter came in about 11:20 p.m. Pacific time Thursday. “This is still an active scene,” Kuredjian said at about 12:50 a.m. Special weapons and tactics teams arrived on the scene a short time later, along with the FBI. Video from the scene showed bar-goers rushing injured people to medical response vehicles.

By early Thursday morning, the building had been cleared, Kuredjian said, adding, “We’re confident there is no outstanding shooter.”

A man and his stepfather interviewed by ABC7 Eyewitness News said they heard about 12 shots before they were able to exit through the front door of the nightclub.

“He fired the first shot,” the stepfather said. “And I knew it was real. My son thought it was a joke, so I pulled him down and got some cover. I looked up, and he was moving to the right. He shot the front doorman, who was just a young man. Then he shot the cashier, just a young girl.”




Multiple eyewitnesses described seeing smoke, possibly from smoke bombs, and said people used chairs to break windows to flee from the scene.

“It was sheer panic,” said Teylor Whittler, 19, who was inside the venue at the time. “Everyone ran and dropped as fast as they could.”

She said she ran to the back door, where people crowded as the gunfire briefly quieted. “And then all, of a sudden, a couple of guys started running to the back door and said, ‘Get up he’s coming.'”

Borderline describes itself as the county’s largest country dance hall and live music venue. With a dance floor covering about 2,500 square feet, it is open until 2 a.m. five days a week.

Wednesday was “College Country Night” at the bar. Authorities said more than 100 had been inside at the time of the shooting.

Rochelle Hammons, 24, told The Post that she heard four shots before she was able to flee.

“All of a sudden we heard four shots, you know, ‘bang, bang, bang, bang.’ Everyone got down on the floor. Everyone ducked and covered each other,” she said. “As everyone crouched down on the floor, I figured that my only chance would be to run out to the nearest exit. I saw the nearest exit, and I ran out as fast as I could.”

From inside her car, she saw the first police officer arrive, she said. She rolled down her window and told him there was an active shooter inside.

“You gotta hurry, you gotta get in there,” she urged him.

The shooting unfolded just over a year after 58 people were killed at a country music festival in Las Vegas when Stephen Paddock, 64, opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

 

Ironically enough some of the people inside had survived the Las Vegas massacre. It was reportedly kind of a hang out for them.

What, is it Thursday or something?

 

The shooter has been identified. He is a white male and was a Marine. He was also known to police.

He used a semi automatic hand gun with extended magazine. And according to witnesses looked like he really knew what he was doing. The first person he shot was the security guard. And may have died after exchanging gunfire with police.

 

Why are all these mass shootings taking place in states like California with very strict gun laws?

 

How come most these mass shooters tend to be far right white guys?

And to call a bullshit on you the mass shooting before was in Florida. And the one before that was in Pennsylvania. And actually states with the weakest gun laws tend to have more gun violence.

But I will grant you this. He carefully planned it. He used smoke bombs and hit about 25 people using a handgun with extended magazine. Which you are right are illegal in California. But legal about everywhere else. And probably because he was trained by the Marines unlike a lot of mass shooters this guy really knew what he was doing and was really fucking good at it. This shooter was skilled.

And does this sound familiar? The reports right now are he was living with his mother.

 

As I have said many times the initial reports are often wrong and there is a dependency on the size of the magazine the shooter had. Police were actually the ones who said it was extended. But an eyewitness is saying it was a standard 10-15 shot magazine and the shooter reloaded. But if the latest reports are true it proves the death penalty as a deterrent is bullshit since he reportedly inflicted it on himself.

*One of the fall back arguments pushed by the NRA, Trump supporters is but what about all the killings in Chicago? And the problem with that argument is I am not going to Chicago and Chicago is not gong to come here. So I am in no danger of getting shot in Chicago. But these mostly far right white guys can start shooting anyplace at anytime. And so I am at least in some danger of them. And so are you.

I'd bet a dollar to a coconut he was on some sort of happy drugs. Most all that do this type of crime are on the happy drugs.
It is the drugs, and not the guns causing these crimes. Time will tell.
