    14,000 Migrant kids.
    650,000 American foster kids.
Stumbler rants about migrant kids, ignoring American kids.
    But look at how Stumbler's lies and hypocrisy is exposed when he rants;

    https://newrepublic.com/article/149161/uncertain-fate-migrant-children-sent-foster-care

Unlike their parents, children apprehended at the border can only be legally held in immigration detention facilities for three days. After that, they must placed in the custody of the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement. While ORR employees search for permanent placements, they put the kids in temporary shelters run by outside contractors.
    * The Department of Health and Human Services Office of Refugee Resettlement is NOT foster care. And neither are the government contractors.
Children forcibly separated from their parents are legally considered Unaccompanied Alien Children, a designation normally reserved for kids who show up at the border by themselves. According to HHS data, these children spend an average of 51 days in temporary shelters. Eighty-five percent eventually ended up in “sponsor homes” with U.S.-based relatives. About 10 percent wind up in foster care.
    * That "85% of kids in sponsor homes" means those kids are placed with family members who are already in the United States. Not foster care. Placed with FAMILY members.

The White House insists the statistics will be different for the separated children; that they’ll returned to their parents within five to ten days. But that’s not how things are playing out in reality, said Sandy Santana, the executive director of Children’s Rights, one of the organizations suing the Trump administration over its separation policy. “We’ve heard stories of parents being deported and their children being left behind,” he said. “And then kids are being sent all over the country, and that distance makes it less likely that these reunifications are going to take place quickly. So our fear is that many of these children will linger in foster care.”
    * Parents deported without their kids have given up their parental rights hoping that their kids will be accepted as immigrants.
That may be happening already. A Seattle foster care facility, for example, recently accepted six children who were separated from their families at the border. And Michigan foster care agency Bethany Christian Services has helped place 58 separated migrant children since May 1, a representative said. That’s a major increase from January, when BCS only placed one separated migrant child. Today, children impacted by Trump’s policy make up 75 percent of the agency’s caseload.
    * Bethany Christian Services is one of those government contractors mentioned above
    https://www.snopes.com/news/2018/06/26/bethany-christian-services-family-separation-betsy-devos/
So. Assuming that 14,000 kid figure the General uses is accurate we can assume about 1,400 of them will end up in foster care. And those are the kids who are left behind when their parents are deported, and the parents give up their parental rights rather than claim their kids.

And the foster care system, designed for American kids, has to now deal with an entirely different problem foisted on them by ILLEGAL immigrants trying to sneak into America. 1,400 kids in a system dealing with upwards of 650,000 kids is hardly overload, but each of those 1,400 kids takes away from American kids.

Not that the general gives a gnat fart. Fuck em. Use the issue to again attack Trump.
Does the general check his claims for accuracy? Not important apparently. How about objective reporting General? Hell no. Use those kids as political fodder? Hell yes! Casualties of our holy war to attack Trump in all things.

And when the General doesn't care to address the issue he gladly diverts with nonsense unrelated to the issue at hand.
    Lying hypocrite.

    Oh you lying hypocrite.
Two migrant children die in ICE protection and you spew endless anguish. You post inaccurate and misleading tripe to showcase your fake concern.
"Soboroff explained that even before Trump took office, border patrol processing stations were set up so that migrants would be funneled towards hazardous paths to the United States. Given Soboroff’s claim Trump’s more aggressive deterrence policy doesn’t really work, he found it “pretty preposterous” that the DHS is ordering medical exams for detained migrant children just now that two kids have died."
*All ILLEGAL immigrants are given medical exams when processed. Always have been.
Not a shit do you give when one of our first responders is murdered by an ILLEGAL immigrant.
Not a shit do you give when an American foster child is murdered while in foster care.
    https://abc7chicago.com/murdered-toddlers-foster-parents-say-system-failed-him/4174342/

Your mission of attacking all things Trump, no matter how dishonest your attack, how wrong the facts, or how hypocritical you have to be to post your tripe is sad.

You have an absolute right to voice your political views.
You even have a right to by hypocritical when you do so.
You do not have a right to purposefully lie and be hypocritical and avoid the title of Lying hypocrite.

    Ad hominem
An ad hominem argument is any that attempts to counter another’s claims or conclusions by attacking the person, rather than addressing the argument itself. True believers will often commit this fallacy by countering the arguments of skeptics by stating that skeptics are closed minded. Skeptics, on the other hand, may fall into the trap of dismissing the claims of UFO believers, for example, by stating that people who believe in UFO’s are crazy or stupid.

    Non-Sequitur
In Latin this term translates to “doesn’t follow”. This refers to an argument in which the conclusion does not necessarily follow from the premises. In other words, a logical connection is implied where none exists.

    Straw Man
A straw man argument attempts to counter a position by attacking a different position – usually one that is easier to counter. The arguer invents a caricature of his opponent’s position – a “straw man” – that is easily refuted, but not the position that his opponent actually holds.

    Appeal to Emotion

(also known as: argument by vehemence, playing on emotions, emotional appeal, for the children)

Description: This is the general category of many fallacies that use emotion in place of reason in order to attempt to win the argument. It is a type of manipulation used in place of valid logic.

    False Analogy
A false analogy is an argument based upon an assumed similarity between two things, people, or situations when in fact the two things being compared are not similar in the manner invoked. Saying that the probability of a complex organism evolving by chance is the same as a tornado ripping through a junkyard and created a 747 by chance is a false analogy. Evolution, in fact, does not work by chance but is the non-random accumulation of favorable changes.

    Straw Man

Even as a Mexican-American “Never Trumper” who has been attacked for three decades by racists and restrictionists for defending illegal immigrants, I’ve had my fill of the recent surge of convenient and politically driven outrage over the policy of separating families.
    ...
Now, with Trump in the White House, it’s a new day. Who knew that liberals, Democrats and Trump-haters cared so much about the well-being of immigrant and refugee children who get separated from their parents?

Especially given how indifferent many of those same folks seemed just four or five years ago when the president doing the separating was a Democrat.

Of course, there is a difference – location. Donald Trump likes to divide families when they first cross the U.S.-Mexico border; Barack Obama preferred to let them get settled in the interior and then send ICE agents to arrest mommy or daddy at home or work, leaving the children behind.

During the Obama years, more than 40,000 U.S.-born kids whose parents had been deported were dumped into foster care.

Ironically, it was Obama who – in addressing the National Council of La Raza on July 15, 2008, in San Diego – decried “when nursing mothers are torn from their babies, when children come home from school to find their parents missing.”

It's very clear that this illegal immigrant that has a record of devious deeds in the U.S. didn't have 'his parents' bring him to the U.S. southern border to await 'asylum', this mother fucker crossed over illegally, just walked right the fuck over the border, obviously there wasn't any form of security deterrents in hat area.

So know there is a U.S. family that will be burying a U.S. family member due to an illegal alien.

California illegal immigrant ‘cop-killer’ taken into custody, officials say

The suspect had known gang affiliations, as well as two past DUI arrests, Christianson said.

The suspect was stopped by Singh for a DUI investigation before getting into a gunfight with the officer, during which Singh tried to defend himself, Christianson said at a separate news conference Thursday.

Authorities also said they've arrested two others -- 25-year-old Adrian Virgen and 27-year-old Erik Razo Quiroz -- who Christianson said had attempted to mislead investigators in an effort to protect the suspect.

As for whether Singh's death was preventable, Christianson noted that had law enforcement previously been able to report the suspect to Immigration and Customs Enforcement because of his criminal record, the loss of life might never have occurred.

"While we absolutely need to stay focused on Officer Singh’s service and sacrifice, we can’t ignore the fact that this could’ve been preventable," Christianson said. "And under SB54 in California, based on two arrests for DUI and some other active warrants that this criminal has out there, law enforcement would’ve been prevented, prohibited from sharing any information with ICE about this criminal gang member. Ladies and gentlemen, this is not how you protect a community."

    Poor general.
It is beyond his ability to conceive that anyone has an ethical standard that is not put aside for politics or personal vendetta.

But we can't be too hard on the general. His ethics went out with his credibility.

Yes. Anyone who hires ILLEGAL immigrants needs to be held accountable. Anyone who knowingly hires ILLEGAL immigrants needs to be charged criminally.

    Even trump. Especially trump.

YUMA, Ariz. (AP) — The Latest on two Guatemalan children who died while in U.S. government custody (all times local):

    6:50 p.m.

The mother of a boy who died while in U.S. custody says her son was healthy when he left Guatemala with his father on their journey hoping to migrate to the United States.

The mother of 8-year-old Felipe Gomez Alonzo, Catarina Alonzo, spoke Saturday with Associated Press journalists at the family's home in a remote Guatemalan village some 250 miles west of Guatemala City.

She said her son reported he was doing well every time that he and his father called home during their trek. She said the last time she spoke with Felipe he was in Mexico at the U.S. border and said he was eating chicken.

U.S. authorities say the boy was suffering from the flu when he died last Monday in Alamogordo, New Mexico.

He was the second child this month to die in U.S. custody after crossing the border.

    ___

    6:15 p.m.

President Donald Trump is seeking to deflect blame for the deaths of two Guatemalan children in U.S. custody by claiming they were "very sick" when they arrived, even though immigration authorities have said both children passed initial health checks

In tweets on Saturday, Trump also pointed to Democrats and what he called "their pathetic immigration policies that allow people to make the long trek thinking they can enter our country illegally."

The tweets were Trump's first comments on the Dec. 8 death of 7-year-old Jakelin Caal and the death on Christmas Eve of 8-year-old Felipe Gomez Alonzo.

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen visited Border Patrol agents and medical officials at the southern border on Saturday amid promises of more thorough health screenings for migrant children.

    ___

    3:45 p.m.

The government of El Salvador is pushing back against President Donald Trump's assertion that it doesn't do enough to stem migration to the United States.

The Central American nation says it has made strides in economic and social improvements to try to tamp down the root causes of the phenomenon.

It says in a Saturday statement that El Salvador "has propelled numerous actions with an eye to diminishing irregular migration and contributing to the fight against people-trafficking."

The statement adds that the Salvadoran government has pushed a media campaign urging its citizens not to risk their lives making the dangerous journey.

Trump threatened via Twitter the previous day to cut off aid to El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. He has made similar threats in the past without following through.

    ___

    12:05 p.m.

President Donald Trump is denying that his administration bears any blame for the deaths of children detained trying to cross the U.S.-Mexico border, even as his Homeland Security secretary was traveling in Arizona to meet with medical staff.

Trump tweeted Saturday that any deaths are "strictly the fault of the Democrats and their pathetic immigration policies that allow people to make the long trek thinking they can enter our country illegally."

It marks his first public comments following the Christmas Eve death of 8-year-old Felipe Gomez Alonzo, the second Guatemalan child to die in government custody in three weeks.

Trump is claiming the "children in question were very sick before they were given over to Border Patrol."

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen is embarking on a tour of care facilities along the border.

    ___

    Noon

Homeland Security says U.S. Border Patrol leadership has instituted more thorough medical screenings for migrants after two Guatemalan children died this month in government custody.

More in-depth initial health exams will be performed and secondary medical screenings have been established.

A Homeland Security spokeswoman said in a statement that Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was briefed on the new procedures Saturday in Yuma, Arizona, where she is continuing meeting with Border Patrol officials. She was in El Paso, Texas, on Friday.

An 8-year-old boy died Dec. 24 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Authorities there said that he was initially diagnosed with a cold but that an autopsy showed he had the flu. A 7-year-old girl died this month in El Paso.

A child is subjected to weeks of travel over a long distance, in the company of hundreds of other people with limited sanitation and little attention to nutrition or medical care.

The child gets sick and dies, it’s Trump’s fault. Talk about flawed logic.

Well, no, not true. Incorrect. A statement based on other than the facts and evidence.
The father stated, before the attorneys who popped up could get to him, that he appreciated all that CBP had done for he and his daughter and that in his opinion nothing else could have been done to save her.
    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...-jakelin-caal-maquin-death-crossing-us-border
"The girls father said he appreciated all that the Border Patrol did for them, that they were treated humanely at all times, and that in his opinion nothing else could have been done to save his daughter. He also insisted that during their trek the girl had food and water and had not exhibited any symptoms that she might be sick."

Thank you. It is refreshing to see some actual facts.

And note the just glaring hypocrisy. If children die in foster care that is an incredible tragedy. Which it is. But when children die in US custody is is their own damn fault.

General, check your meds. You seem to be hearing voices again.
It is a tragedy anytime a child dies.
It is the height of hypocrisy to focus on the death of ILLEGAL migrants and ignore the much greater tragic situation of American kids in foster care.
It is fucking evil to politicize the plight of ILLEGAL migrants, to organize them to risk life and limb and suffer hardship walking thousands of miles for a pipe dream.

But you keep on blathering, you lying hypocrite.

Our biggest cities are already in - not so good shape...so do 'we' really want additional hundreds of sq. miles, for example, in cities like Chicago or NYC (25% of the city) taken over by a foreign population like London or Paris? Like the majority of the indigenous citizens in these cities, I am quite sure most of us would rue the day this happens...

So hey guys is the "wall" a wall or just a metaphor?

Trump said it was going to be a great big beautiful wall from coast to coast.

Some of you Trump supporters even posted prototypes of it remember?

But Lindsey Graham just came out of a meeting with Trump and he said this.

Lindsey Graham claims Trump’s $5 billion ‘wall’ isn’t really a wall: It’s ‘a metaphor for border security’
