I go with a straight line across a piece of paper, marking up the beginning, middle and end and putting in any highlights. Letting my imagination run free but drawing a separate line underneath as I progress through the story keeps me on track.
Grammar was never my strong point in school and I just hope that between my wife's and my own checking we can catch as many of the mistakes as possible before posting.

 

I come up with my characters and their descriptions ahead of time, I even do a back story on all of them that I don't include in the story just to remind myself the type of person I want them to be. Then I write out all my ideas and go from there.

I like that idea of developing a back story for each character prior to introducing them so you what kind of character they are going to be in your story.

Still getting my land legs here . My first attempt at a thread went off the rails.
I made the mistake of posting a story from my phone (composed in clipboard / saved then uploaded).
Sadly it dumped everything together in a big ole block..LOL

Do you write full books as well as sex stories? Only wondering as I have only gone into that much trouble of character backgrounds when I write full books( 2+1/2 to date).

 

I do it for my regular short stories as well as my sex stories, I just prefer to have a layout of what I want to convey so I don't forget anything. Unfortunately the only book I've ever written was a book of poetry that I never had the guts to attempt having published lol

 

So, author's making fake accounts to upgrade their stories now. Smh. People need their EGO's stroked that badly.

Some of us won't kiss Horse's ass to be allowed on wrist. Guess we should lose all the access to decent writers that come here.

 

I am seriously thinking about removing my stories from her because of the trolls and quit writing altogether. It is just not worth it.

 

lol @DBuck every time I try to read one of your stories it's taken down because you're pouting like a petulant child. You even falsely accused me of creating alternate accounts when I in fact upvoted every one of your stories. And since I've been accused by multiple people here, why don't you all look at the top story on this site? Nine fucking accounts made a day prior to the story being published, and then he had the balls to say I did it when I called him out. Like I magically knew he was going to publish today, even though he hardly ever publishes, nor ever posted that he was going to publish today. All he's been doing is complaining about his account getting hacked, and how important his rating is and all that bullshit. I've become the fucking boogie man around here because I have the balls to express an opinion. At least I don't just downvote and leave without explanation. I tell you why I think your story sucked.

So if you're wondering why your story suddenly got mass downvoted by a bunch of alt accounts, maybe see how your publishing date coincided with the newest version of Secrets of Liberty Mountain. Cause he's been posting that fucking story for two years now, and it's somehow magically always on the top of the site.

 

Massive new accounts have been done for the last few days and downvoting like crazy! Lol.. I'm done with this site!

@Nathan Wolf very disappointed in you. All those new accounts just so happen to vote you up and at the same time downgrade everyone elses stories. Rest assure there will be a price your story will suffer.

It's funny how @landonacloud voted positive for 'Liberty Mountain', which was a pretty crappy story in my opinion and down-voted @PABLO DIABLO story 'the Chauffer' to bring it from 96%, which was on the top to a 93% This is exactly why I am pulling my stories from this site.

I'm sure I'm a bit naive here but what purpose does it serve for one writer to downgrade another writer? Is it a competition thing? Is it about being at the top of a list? Ego? I would rather the best story be near the top because I want to read the best stories. Not some fake hyped story.

It does confuse me a bit in the Sex Stories forum how some of the stories posted there keep magically bubbling to the top when they are . . . slightly less than good.
