If the "Mueller thing" isn't working then Trump and his allies would be screaming their heads off to have as much of the Mueller report as possible made public right now. Instead of doing everything they can to keep it covered up.

And Trump's taxes are actually part of that. Is Trump compromised by the Russians because of all the money he borrowed from them? That is a very real question that needs to be answered.

But again this is just another example of the lie of conservatism as it is preached and practiced in this nation. Including laughable "revolutionaries" They act likeTrump is already a king and we just live in his kingdom.

When before Trump they preached the opposite. That the whole government from the president on down is supposed to be working for the American people. The whole constitution is based on we are the boss and the government is supposed to work for us.

So we have right to see what Mueller found and reported.

And the president is not some private citizen. He is the POTUS and the American people have a right to know if he is compromised by foreign countries. We have a right to know if he cheats on his taxes. And we a right to know if our president is a crook.

The problem our President has with releasing his taxes is not that it will reveal illegal tax evasion. There are plenty of perfectly legal ways to evade taxes. Most of these ways depend upon some government official, usually at the state or local level, who will accept some number as the dollar value of whatever's being discussed. This number results in a tax credit, or tax exemption, or some other advantage other businesses aren't going to enjoy. Tell a Mayor you want to spend $10 million on a shopping center and he'll be happy to relax your property tax bill. Don't expect the same if you want to buy a $100k convenience store. Pick any 100 convenience stores in the city and they've paid more in taxes than the shopping center.

Trump's tax returns are going to reveal how many times he used an ever changing number to his advantage. One number when applying for a loan, a different number when paying taxes. It's all perfectly legal, to a certain extent. If a Mayor wants to make a deal that fucks his citizens out of tax revenues, that's his problem, right? Living with crumbing schools, potholes, traffic congestion, and a police department one step above mall cops, is a small price to pay for a shopping center than's going to be out of fashion and shuttered in 10 years.

There's going to be a lot of embarrassed city governments and a few bank officers, but that's about it. It's not like any Trump supporter is going to care.

 

And the opposite is true as well. Cohen testified under oath Trump cheats on his taxes. And if that is not Trump should have his name cleared. And the only way to do that is look at his taxes

Just like the Meuller investigation has not satisfied the democrats, seeing Trump's tax returns will not satisfy them.
If the democrats cannot accept what their privately chosen investigator found after 2 years of searching they will not accept what the IRS says about Trump's taxes.

We will not know if the Mueller Report exonerates Trump of wrong doing until the full Report is published. Meanwhile, if there is nothing embarrassing to Trump in his tax returns all he need to do is report them.
