Trump is an amazing guy. He does things that would have destroyed the careers of most politicians. He does not seem to have prepared for any of his political debates, but he still performed well, at least in the eyes of his supporters.

He reads speeches written by others from a teleprompter. He does not seem to have read the speeches before. Nevertheless, his supporters stamp their feet and cheer.

Trump is ignorant and impulsive. Those who were near him, but who are no longer under his power report of the chaos of the Trump administration. Nevertheless, the economy keeps growing. If most white blue collar workers have pay checks that buy more in 2020 than they did in 2016, and particularly if they buy more than they did in 2000, I expect Trump to be reelected. He might even win by a landslide.

I do not like admitting this. I dislike Trump intensely.

I just listened to Trump, and to be fair, Perhaps he may have actually done something good. But it is impossible to know. The man lies so much, not a day goes by he hasn't lied a dozen times or more. When he isn't lying, he's leaving important information out, or hiding facts. Whatever he tells America that he has done, only the "So called Blind Faithful" take it as fact, most of us shake our heads and wonder. So often what he says sounds good and turns out to be totally incorrect and false. From his first day in office this has been the Real Donald Trump, telling preposterous obvious lies, and what do you hear from his Faithful, "Total unquestioned acceptance" , and that "All of us who are against Trump do so because we are angry that we lost the election".

 

Well @Distant Lover, you should think about this;

When Obama was elected a lot of deplorables thought it would be a disaster for America. All sorts of bogus accusations were tossed around about Obama's citizenship, his education and his religion.

Very little was said about his agenda.

Then Obama was reelected in 2012, and deplorables were outraged. The man had jammed Obamacare down our throats, the economy was tepid at best, the debt was exploding, and we were dealing with racial divisions not seen in decades.

A lot was said about his agenda. With little effect.

So, in 2016 America rejected Clinton and elected a pompous gas bag for President.

A lot of despicables thought it was a disaster for America. All sorts of bogus accusations were (are) being tossed around about Trump's connections with Russia, his love for his daughter, his eating habits, his appearance, and those he surrounded himself with.

Very little was said about his agenda.

So as 2020 approaches, consider not whether Trump will be reelected, because if the economy continues, he most likely will be. Look instead to Trump's agenda, and what that means for America. Not his spew, like Mexico will pay for the wall, but his intent, which is to stop ILLEGAL immigration.

And know that we survived Obama, we'll survive Trump whether he is reelected or not, and we'll survive whoever follows Trump, no matter what flavor of politics they prefer.

 

Old clip of Ivanka Trump recalls dad Donald Trump calling out homeless person's debt



Samantha Bee on Wednesday aired old footage of Ivanka Trump recalling how her father, President Donald Trump, once used a person who was homeless to illustrate the high amount of debt he owed.

The host of “Full Frontal” broadcast the clip from the 2003 documentary “Born Rich” during a segment in which she spotlighted a New York Times report that Trump accumulated almost $1.2 billion in business losses from 1985 to 1994.

Ivanka Trump, now a senior White House adviser to the president, said in the video:


I remember once my father and I were walking down Fifth Avenue and there was a homeless person sitting right outside of Trump Tower and I remember my father pointing to him and saying, ‘You know, that guy has $8 billion more than me,’ because he was in such extreme debt at that point, you know?

 

All the cable networks have an army of reporters out following all the candidates and talking to voters. And for the first time I have seen out in Trump country his pathological lying is taking a toll. Some Trump supporters are actually saying we really liked what he told us. But now it looks like we can't believe a fucking word he ssys.

 

The mad king continues to rant and lie against the storm over his tax returns. Which is both insane and impotent. Because its not just Congress wanting to see Trump's tax returns. It is also the state of New York which probably already has them. And New York has also passed a law which will allow them to turn state tax return information to congress. And of course the state tax information will include a lot of his federal taxes. While in the meantime Trump's tax returns are in many many hands and they are beginning to leak out. Just like the ones who proved Trump was the biggest money loser in the US.

But here is the latest big lie. I didn't release the tax returns during the campaign and got elected anyway because most people don't care about them. And there are actually two lies there. Almost all polls show the majority of Americans think he should release his taxes and a majority support the Democrats efforts to get them.

And the other lie is he didn't release his tax returns and people voted for him anyway. It is true he has not released his tax returns but Trump did promise to release them on multiple occasions when they were no longer under audit. So the majority did care and Trump lied to them.

If Trump does not reveal his tax returns I want them to be leaked to the press. When Daniel Ellsberg leaked The Pentagon Papers he began the process that led to the eventual destruction of the Nixon administration.

I also want the entire Mueller Report to be leaked this way.
