I am going to put this one here because I wonder if you guys have any idea how bad it is.

And no I don't expect you to read the story.

Trump blasted for trying to ‘cover up his abject failure’ with a brazen lie about his trade war with Mexico

    https://www.rawstory.com/2019/06/tr...a-brazen-lie-about-his-trade-war-with-mexico/

Because what you really need to look at is the construction of this story. It could only come from inside the White House. Which means someone inside the White House went out of their way to stab Trump deep in the back.

Or maybe like he's hanging from a ledge and they keep stepping on his fingers.

Just now the despicable.spew is all about how Trump's "victory" with Mexico is more fakery from Trump, since (despicables claim) the key provisions had already been agreed to by Mexico months ago.

Raising the question, what was discussed during the intense 3 days of meetings leading up to the announcement and suspension of the Mexico tarriffs?

The Mexican Government was only offering 'lip service', until...Trump offered disciplinary measures, then Mexico acted accordingly.

Once again proving Trump is still winning and following through with his very refreshing campaign promises.

Now you've got two problems here. One is Trump is literally and clinically mentally ill and cannot grasp the consequences of his own actions or reality. So he probably really does believe what he is saying.

But the reality is that is not what the Mueller report says. The reality is the exact opposite. And that is in black and white and in the public record. So the only one who can credibly believe there is no collusion and no obstruction is Trump. But only due to mental illness.

Even as he again hailed his administration's last-minute, much-heralded deal on Friday with Mexico as a "successful agreement" to address illegal immigration at the southern border, President Trump on Sunday bluntly suggested he might again seek to impose punishing tariffs on Mexico if its cooperation falls short in the future.

The president and other key administration officials also sharply disputed a New York Times report claiming the Friday deal "largely" had been negotiated months ago, and hinted that not all major details of the new arrangement have yet been made public.

U.S. officials had been working to expand the migrant program, which already has led to the return of about 10,000 people, and said Friday's agreement was a major push in that direction. Nevertheless, the Times, citing unnamed officials from Mexico and the U.S., reported that the concessions already had been hashed out in a more limited form.

President Trump Unleashes on Chamber of Commerce for Opposing America First Policies

The Chamber has been lobbying against Trump’s nationalist trade and immigration policies for years.

President Donald Trump is angry at the Chamber of Commerce for putting its lobbying weight against his ‘America First’ policies on trade and immigration.

Trump called into CNBC today to bash the Chamber and even threaten to revoke his long-time membership to the organization.

“I’m a member of the U.S. Chamber,” Trump said. “Maybe I’ll have to rethink that, because when you look at it, the chamber is probably more for the companies and the people that are members than they are for our country.”

Trump’s remarks come after Myron Brilliant, who works as the Chamber’s head of international affairs, criticized Trump’s “weaponization of tariffs” earlier in the day. The Chamber is an organization that supports corporate trade deals like NAFTA and the TPP.

“The weaponization of tariffs — the increase of threats on our economy, on our farmers, our manufacturers, our consumers — is going to hurt our country. It also creates uncertainty with our trading partners,” Brilliant said.

“The world is watching,” Brilliant added.

Trump is appalled by this establishment GOP organization’s lack of support for the progress that his nationalist approach is making in solving problems.

“I just want to say to the United States Chamber of Commerce, if we didn’t have tariffs, we wouldn’t have made a deal with Mexico,” Trump said.

It is not just Trump’s trade agenda in which the Chamber of Commerce is staunchly opposed. They also support amnesty for illegal aliens and oppose Trump’s border wall.

“We commend the members of the House who voted to pass the American Dream and Promise Act, and we look forward to working with the Senate as it continues to address the issue of immigration reform. It is critical for both parties in both houses of Congress to come together on a path forward on immigration reform legislation,” U.S. Chamber Chief Policy Officer Neil Bradley said in a press release after the DREAM Act was passed by Congress last week.

The Chamber also claimed that “a wall dividing the U.S. and Mexico would hardly solve all our immigration problems” in a 2015 article criticizing Trump while he was on the campaign trail.

Trump took note of the Chamber’s lack of patriotism as they care more about preserving corporate profit margins than protecting U.S. sovereignty.

“As far as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, they have to start representing the United States, not just the companies that are members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce,” Trump said.

No US-Mexico deal exists despite Trump's claim, Mexico foreign minister says
The Mexican foreign minister says no secret immigration deal exists between Mexico and the US, just hours after President Donald Trump tweeted that a “fully signed and documented” agreement would be “be revealed in the not too distant future.”

Marcelo Ebrard, Mexico’s top diplomat, said in a news conference in Mexico City on Monday that there was an understanding that both countries would evaluate the number of migrants crossing the border of Mexico and the United States in the coming months, according to the New York Times.

If the number is no significantly reduced, Mr Ebrard says, both nations will renew discussions about changes to regional asylum rules. According to American officials, those numbers will be reviewed in 45 days, and again in 90 days.

This plan for assessment of the situation before coming to a new arrangement directly contradicts a tweet sent by Mr Trump early Monday morning.

“We have fully signed and documented another very important part of the Immigration and Security deal with Mexico, one that the US has been asking about getting for many years,” the president wrote.

“It will be revealed in the not too distant future and will need a vote by Mexico’s Legislative body!.." he continued. "We do not anticipate a problem with the vote but, if for any reason the approval is not forthcoming, Tariffs will be reinstated!”

Mr Ebrard said in his own news conference that such an agreement on the asylum changes does not exist.

An agreement announcement last Friday, he said, delayed the discussion needed by the Mexican senate. This gives Mexico time to prove to the president that would reduce the flow of immigration, which he has maintained is a problem.

Mr Ebrard says the understanding negotiators have reached relies on still more research and discussion.

“Let’s have a deadline to see if what we have works and if not, then we will sit down and look at the measures you propose and those that we propose,” he said, describing the ongoing process.

It remains unclear what the president's tweets referred to. He has not yet tweeted a response to Mr Ebrard's conference.

Nervous Nancy Attacks Trump’s Historic Mexico Deal For Violating Migrant’s Rights
    June 10, 2019 Martin
    12ShareTweet

While President Donald Trump secured a historic deal with Mexico to address the crisis at the border, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is more worried about the rights of migrants.

After threatening to hit them with a 5 percent tariff, Mexico made several concessions to the United States late last week and agreed to substantially increase its actions on migration policy.

Despite this obviously being a massive win for Trump and the American people, Pelosi lashed out and said she was worried about the rights of migrants.

As noted by The Washington Examiner, here’s Pelosi’s statement:

“President Trump undermined America’s preeminent leadership role in the world by recklessly threatening to impose tariffs on our close friend and neighbor to the south. Threats and temper tantrums are no way to negotiate foreign policy.”

Pelosi said she was “deeply disappointed” by the asylum provisions of the deal, which she claimed “violates the rights of asylum seekers under U.S. law and fails to address the root causes of Central American migration.”

Here’s more on the terms of the U.S.-Mexico deal:

The tariffs, a 5% tax on all goods imported from Mexico, were scheduled to take effect on Monday. Trump issued the threat as the Department of Homeland Security projected that more than 1 million people would be apprehended this year in illegal attempts to cross the southwest border.

The agreement calls for Mexico to “take unprecedented steps” to stop Central American migrants from entering the country on their way north to the United States, “to include the deployment of its National Guard throughout Mexico, giving priority to its southern border,” according to the State Department.

Mexican officials also agreed that migrants who reach the United States and request asylum “will be rapidly returned to Mexico” while U.S. officials review the petition.

Mexico denies Trump's claim of secret concessions in deal

WASHINGTON (AP) — Three days after U.S. President Donald Trump announced a deal with Mexico to stem the flow of migrants at the southern border, the two countries appear unable to agree on exactly what's in it.

Stung by criticism that the agreement mostly ramps up border protection efforts already underway, Trump on Monday hinted at other, secret agreements he says will soon be revealed.

"We have fully signed and documented another very important part of the Immigration and Security deal with Mexico, one that the U.S. has been asking about getting for many years," Trump wrote Monday, saying it would "be revealed in the not too distant future."

Not so, said Mexican Foreign Secretary Marcelo Ebrard, holding up a paper and pointing to the previously announced details. He told reporters the two countries agreed on two actions made public Friday and said if those measures didn't work to slow migration, they would discuss further options.

"There is no other thing beyond what I have just explained," he said.

The episode revealed the complicated political dynamics at play as Trump and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador tussle over who made out best in the agreement hashed out under Trump's threat of new tariffs on Mexico. Trump appeared eager to declare his negotiation tactics successful, even as he tried to hype the deal with made-for-TV drama and invented measures, sparking questions and confusion. Mexico's leaders showed they weren't willing to play along.

The White House did not respond to inquiries about Trump's tweets.

But the president appeared to be making a reference to talks over how Mexico handles Central American migrants who travel through the country to claim asylum in the U.S.

The Trump administration has been trying to pressure Mexico to enter into a "safe third country" agreement, which would deem Mexico a safe place for migrants and make it harder for asylum seekers who pass through the country to wait until they reach American soil to file a claim.

But the deal announced Friday made no mention of the issue.

A senior administration official, speaking on condition of anonymity to share details of closed-door talks, said Mexico had expressed openness to the idea during negotiations, and said the two countries would continue to discuss the issue over the coming months.

Mexico has been insistent that it has not agreed to the provision, which would require approval from local lawmakers.

Instead, Ebrard said during a press conference in Mexico City Monday, if the deal announced Friday does not begin to drive down migrant numbers in the next 45 days, officials will open up new discussions in which the U.S. will again push for the safe third country measure and Mexico will propose establishing a regional refuge system in conjunction with the United Nations and the governments of Guatemala, Panama and Brazil — three countries that are often starting points for migrants headed to the U.S.

"They wanted something else totally different ... to be signed," Ebrard said Monday. "But that is what there is here. There is no other thing." As for Trump's tweets hyping a secret measure? Ebrard said he'd provided a full account for transparency's sake.

Mexico fears that being designated a safe third country would only add to the number of asylum applications it receives. Those numbers have climbed dramatically in recent years and the government has admitted it does not have the resources to keep up.

As a practical matter, Mexico would have difficulty integrating thousands of additional migrants into a barely growing economy, making them targets to expand the ranks of Mexican organized crime groups.

Over the weekend, Trump also claimed another new element of the deal, tweeting that Mexico had "AGREED TO IMMEDIATELY BEGIN BUYING LARGE QUANTITIES OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT FROM OUR GREAT PATRIOT FARMERS!" The administration has yet to reveal the details of any such provision, and Mexican officials say no agreement on farm goods was reached as part of the talks.

Ebrard told reporters the talks had focused on migration, not commerce, and hypothesized that Trump was calculating an economic boost resulting from his decision not to implement the tariffs.

"We do not have a specific agreement on products of that nature," he said.

Trump has spent the days since Friday's announcement defending the scope of the deal.

That includes a commitment by Mexico to deploy its new National Guard to the country's southern border with Guatemala — something the country already intended to do before Trump's latest threat. It also includes an agreement to publicly support the expansion of a program under which some asylum seekers are returned to Mexico as they wait out their cases. U.S. officials had been working to expand the program, which has led to the return of about 11,000 to Mexico without Mexico's public embrace.

Trump and other administration officials, however, say Mexico made major concessions and have credited his threat to slap a 5% tax on all Mexican goods if the country didn't immediately agree to do more to stem the flow of Central American migrants across the U.S. southern border. Without the threat, Trump has insisted, Mexico never would have acted.

"It was all done because of the tariffs and because of the relationship that we have with Mexico," he told reporters Monday, following a call-in interview with CNBC Monday morning in which he said officials had "talked about it for months and months and months," but couldn't reach agreement until the threat.

I am not all that big a fan of Morning Joe but this is something I have been saying myself. Trump is surrounded by people who just love to undercut him and stab him in the back deep and hard. And it has to be several not just one. And some of them have the highest level of access. Probably at times in the same room with Trump. And I think there is even a new more damaging pattern. Someone leaks something. Trump and the White House furiously deny it. And then before the day is done the press has documents and/or other proof in their hands.

‘Rampant disloyalty’: Morning Joe panel reveals how much Trump’s staff hates the president

*I still marvel at just how terrible that is. First of all we are talking internal polling here which in most campaigns are guarded as if they were nuclear codes. And first they leaked the results of the poll and then the actual numbers. And then add to that the fact Trump just wants to deny reality and as always tells his staff to just lie. That looks like they are out to just destroy him.

**I don't know how the overlooked golfing. Lots and lots of golfing at taxpayer expense with some of those tax dollars going into Trump's own pocket.

***"Donald, its not about you. Its about the country." You can count on hearing that a lot going into 2020.

POTUS Trump gets good news in Pennsylvania: Swing voters are sticking with HIM in 2020

    Posted on June 11, 2019

    By Jon Dougherty

Whether the Democrats eventually nominate former VP Joe Biden or someone else, it’s beginning to look like that candidate can mark Pennsylvania off their list of states to pick up.

That’s because, according to a new focus group finding, swing voters in the state who backed the criminal Obama in 2012 but voted for POTUS Donald Trump in 2016 are lining up to stick with him next year, Axios reported Tuesday.

“Their loyalty is a wakeup call to all 2020 Democrats, but especially Joe Biden, since he’s banking heavily on his ability to win the state,” the site noted.

“Pennsylvania was crucial to Trump’s victory in 2016, and it’s a key state Democrats are hoping to win back in 2020. These swing voters show the importance of Democratic candidates breaking through in rural areas like Erie if they want to replace Trump,” Axios noted further, adding:

    What they’re saying:

    • Tara Biddle, a 37-year-old kindergarten teacher, said although she’s not completely happy with Trump, she’d only switch candidates if they picked up where he left off.
    • “I would be willing to vote for someone other than Trump who would continue the initiatives he’s started” with the economy, tariffs and immigration, she said.
    • Others said Trump should be able to serve two full terms. “When I changed my vote I gave him eight years,” said 62-year-old David R.
    • “He’s the best-looking food on the buffet right now,” said 28-year-old Matt G. about Trump compared to all the Democrats running for president.

It's so funny to watch the Trump supporters constantly screaming fuck the polls until one with positive news for Trump comes along and then they are over it. Like a meaningless focus group of old white people that still support Trump.

But the reality is even Trump's own polling shows him losing to almost all the Democratic candidates in Pennsylvania. And especially to Biden.
