You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

    And the hypocrisy continues

Dems want Trump tax returns, won’t release theirs
    https://www.bostonherald.com/2019/04/11/dems-want-trump-tax-returns-wont-release-theirs/

Even as Nancy Pelosi pushes for Trump's tax returns to be handed over, she and other despicables have made clear; they will not release their tax returns.

Apparently, only Presidents should have to do that.

During the 2016 election, Democrats did everything they could to tax-shame Trump. It’s part of the Democratic Party’s class warfare toolkit: demonize high earners who use legal opportunities to lower their taxes. Trump wisely resisted, anticipating a feeding frenzy over every line in his returns.

Voters elected him anyway, without seeing his returns. House Dems aren’t fighting for the returns because the public wants them. Nor are Dems fighting for transparency, as they claim. If they were, they’d release their own taxes.

Dems want to misuse the IRS to go after a president they hate. Americans of every political persuasion should be alarmed.

On April 3, the House Ways and Means Committee Democrats instructed the IRS to hand over six years of Trump’s personal and business tax returns, claiming the committee has a duty to make sure the IRS is correctly auditing the president and vice president. Pelosi insisted, “Congress has an oversight responsibility to see that that is happening, if it has happened and how it has happened.” Pelosi’s words are double talk.

Congress doesn’t need six years of Trump’s filings to make sure the IRS is auditing presidential returns. Trump’s only been in office two years. Even more telling, the Dems didn’t request filings by any previous presidents.
Here's the thing. The basis for despicables demanding to see Trump's tax records is that maybe the IRS didn't properly audit his taxes, so now despicables want to do that for the IRS. Oh, and you know, Trump lies, so he probably lied on his tax returns. And, his former attorney, Cohen, says he cheated. You recall Comey, the guy doing time for lying to the FBI?

But, lets look to just a couple of despicables, see if there's any reason to want to take a hard look at their tax returns...............

So starting in 2007 Nancy got herself involved with the credit card industry.
For starters, one of her staff left to become a lobbyist for Visa.
Visa and the other credit card companies had issue with a bill in Congress that would rein in their lucrative service charges. Nancy Pelosi was at the time, Speaker, and controlled legislation in the House.
Shortly after the staffer left, Visa contributed heavily to Pelosi's campaign and offered her husband a lucrative buy in of Visa's upcoming IPO. But, Visa had to stop that damn "swipe fee" legislation cause, you know, they were afraid if it passed their IPO would tank.
Anyway, Pelosi bought in on the IPO, the swipe fee legislation was relegated to the dead files, and WHOOPS!! Pelosi made a fast $5 Million plus in a matter of days.

The upshot was that Congress passed legislation that banned Congress members from using insider knowledge to purchase stocks. You know, that thing that got Martha Stewart jailed, wasn't illegal for Congress members to do. So the "Pelosi law" (really, that's what everyone called it) make it illegal for Congress members to use insider information to play in the stock market. But, a bit later, in one of those late night sessions, with Pelosi's urging, the house passed, and the Senate comfirmed, other legislation that gutted the Pelosi amendment. The law is still there, but there are no penalties for violations. Really. Look it up.

And Maxine Waters, well she was on the banking committee investigating the 2008 bank crisis, and even as she railed against big banks and their greedy ways, was able to get $12 million in federal bailout money to her husband's ailing minority bank, OneUnited. Regulators cited OneUnited Bank for poor lending practices and excessive executive pay and perks — including providing its CEO a $6 million mansion and a Porsche SUV. The Waters at the time owned more than $350,000 in OneUnited stock.

And in 2002 when her husband first became a shareholder in OneUnited, the bank (then known as Boston Bank of Commerce) tried to purchase Family Savings, another minority-owned bank in Los Angeles. But when the thrift turned instead to a suitor in Illinois, Waters tried to block the merger by contacting FDIC regulators. Her efforts paid off. The thrift ended up merging with her husband's bank.

So yeah, lets look at Trumps tax returns. Make it a law even; any elected or appointed member of the Federal government
has to release their tax returns and have them audited by the IRS if they haven't been audited before.

I am all for new laws that would make all elected and appointed officials make their tax returns public.

But since that may or may not happen in the future Trump has to comply with the law we have right now that says his tax returns SHALL be handed over to Congress upon request.

The statute says the IRS “shall furnish” tax returns to the committee chair upon request and that’s the end of it.
That doesn't mean all of congress.

      RAWSTORY again???

DOJ defends Mnuchin’s refusal to hand over Trump’s tax returns

The Justice Department released an opinion Friday defending Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin’s refusal to comply with a House Democratic subpoena for six years of President Trump’s personal and business tax returns.

Last month, Mnuchin said he consulted with the Department of Justice in making the decision not to hand over the returns to the House Ways and Means Committee, saying the request “lacks a legitimate legislative purpose.”

In its opinion Friday, the DOJ’s Office of Legal Counsel said that it advised the Treasury Department to deny the request.

“While the Executive Branch should accord due deference and respect to congressional requests, Treasury was not obliged to accept the Committee’s stated purpose without question, and based on all the facts and circumstances, we agreed that the Committee lacked a legitimate legislative purpose for its request,” the opinion states.

Massachusetts Democratic Rep. Richard Neal, the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee issued subpoenas last month to Mnuchin and IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig for the tax returns.

“While I do not take this step lightly, I believe this action gives us the best opportunity to succeed and obtain the requested material,” Neal said in a statement at the time.

House Democrats have been targeting Trump’s tax returns and financial documents since they took the majority in Congress in January. As part of their lead-off ethics package, which Trump’s lawyers cited in their filing Wednesday, Democrats’ legislation required presidents to disclose at least 10 years of their tax returns to the public, in what was an apparent swipe at Trump.

That may be true for private citizens. Many Americans want to know what Trump is hiding.

    1. conroe4
That is true for everyone. Trump doesn't need to see yours, and you don't need to see his. It's between you and the IRS, it's between him and the IRS. It's the job of the IRS to see if he's hiding anything, it's by God not your job. It's not your business. Now shut the fuck up, loser.

    I disagree.

Many many positions of authority that have the ability to impact fiscal policy and regulation require full disclosure of tax returns and personal credit ratings, for good reason.

You don’t want someone effing with either a domestic or global economy in order to line their own pockets.

Because you just know that can happen; it happens on smaller and grander scales regularly.

Do I think they need to be made a public document? Probably not. Submitted for review and vetting by regulatory branches? Absolutely.

Well, but its Trump, so all the despicables are slobbering all over themselves to see Trumps tax returns because they just know they'll find something in them that will get trump out of office .... somehow.
Not that they'd know what it was.
But no matter, that despicables WANT to see those returns is all the right they need.
      Fuck Trump and his privacy.
      Fuck the rule of law.

Then, you being a tourist, should draw up a petition speaking on behalf of the U.S. citizenry...requesting a Constitutional Convention in order to alter and amend the requirements to become POTUS.

As of today, there is abso-fucking-lutley no reason for a POTUS candidate to give out to the public, their tax returns.

And the excuse/reason that you are using is abso-fucking-lutley retarded bullshit.

If it is found that POTUS is in violation of the oath, impeachment is the alternative.

What is Trump in violation of?

    sigh

He’s ultimately responsible for economic decisions for your entire country, and considering USD is the standard currency worldwide, the interest is global.

You idiots deregulated and tanked your own economy and the rest of us had some serious fucking scrambling to do to ensure you didn’t tank us all alongside. K. Let’s be done with that nonsense, yeah?

Man, you can’t even get a job in a payday lending joint without a credit check. What makes you think POTUS should be free of the burden of proving he has no vested interest in fucking with the economy?

Public servants ought to not only avoid conflicts of interest, but the appearance of same. POTUS is the pinnacle of public service. This is not rocket science.

The person is entitled to privacy, from the standpoint that I agree that it ought not to be something you can pick up a copy of in Barnes & Noble. But that those making macroeconomic decisions aren’t required to clear bona fides is just utterly insane.

As maybe you’re gonna find out.

I bet both you and the computer screen were equally surprised to see how fucking stupid that was when you wrote it.

I fucking take it back that you ever managed to leave mommy and daddy's house let alone make it to a rig if you have never had to hand over your tax returns.

    Just to clear up my confusion, explain this comment;

As for the rest of your emotional rant...business is in the business of making money, business and the economy enjoy the privileges of the free market.

The U.S. economy is in full throttle, thanks to a man that got elected straight from the private sector division of the free market capitalistic society that is enjoyed by most of the world.

If Trumps companies can be profitable from economic policies that POTUS enforces...so fucking what.,, the entire country is also seeing profits, unlike some of the politicians that are in office that seek to do their own business.

The entire purpose of the federal fucking government is to regulate commerce, among other reasons.

The IRS and your tax professional cannot disclose your tax information to anyone else without your explicit consent.

If you find out that the IRS or your tax preparer has disclosed your tax information without your consent, you may bring a civil lawsuit for damages.

.... and an irrelevant point anyway.
Trump has a right to privacy with his tax returns, even as president.
Before Congress can rightfully demand to see his returns they need a valid reason.

    They don't have one.
What they have is a want. A political want.
That is not a valid reason.

Why do the Congressional leftist in the Committee want to see Trumps tax returns?

There has to be a reason for the leftists to see Trumps returns, what are the reasons behind it.

There is probable cause, tRump filed for a state level tax break on school taxes reserved for those earning under $100,000 while publicly claiming that he had earned millions. That is in open view and cause for search.

Actually, there is probable cause. Trump has lied repeatedly about releasing his returns while under audit. He claims that he is not allowed to do that while under audit, but the IRS has stated that there is no law that prevents him from releasing his returns to the public while under audit.
