All aboard the Trump train, fueled by thugs and left-wing politics

Adriana Cohen Sunday, March 13, 2016

    trump rally dayton.jpg
Security personnel surround Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump after a man tried to rush the stage during a rally in Vandalia, Ohio, outside of Dayton, on Saturday, March 12, 2016. The man was stopped and Trump continued with his speech. (Lisa Powell/The Dayton Daily News via AP)

The Trump train has new fuel.

There’s no way the thugs and left-wing political groups that shut down Donald Trump’s Chicago rally on Friday night are going to silence the Republican front-runner or dissuade millions of his supporters from voting for him.

Every American should be outraged that protesters so blatantly stomped on the right to free speech. But instead of politicians on both sides of the aisle coming to Trump’s defense, they either stayed silent or said that he created a “toxic” environment and “had it coming” for his “divisive” speech and “offensive” insults.

Ted Cruz pretends to be a fierce protector of the Constitution, yet when a fellow Republican’s rights were so blatantly violated, he showed voters that talk is cheap. He chose to score some cheap political points and blame Trump for the protest when he should
have been defending Trump’s right to take to the stage and speak his mind.

Talk about double standards and a blow to the First Amendment.

For starters, Hillary Clinton is guilty of insulting rhetoric — remember when she compared Republicans to terrorists last August? Did Republican-backed groups shut down her campaign events?

    Of course not.

Yet if the shoe was on the other foot and Hillary Clinton’s rally was shut down by Republican activist groups, left-leaning media and liberals would go berserk. They’d suddenly become defenders of the Constitution, saying all Americans have a right to free speech and protesters and “bullies” should take a hike.

    Hypocrisy, indeed.

Trump supporters see it. As do millions of Americans who want a fair shake.

We’re all supposed to be equal under the law.

It’s ironic that liberals — especially pols like Clinton and Bernie Sanders — wax poetic about “equality,” yet when it comes to free speech they only want Democratic candidates to enjoy it — without protest.

You make some valid points here but to outright blame Sanders for the mess is irresponsible rhetoric.

M4M, I had not heard that Cruz blamed Trump for it. So much for the high-minded Constitutionalist. What a class act.

I also haven't seen proof that Sanders is behind the money that got all the vermin bused into the venue. There are allegations that it was Black Lives Matter (and ultimately Soros), but no proof of it, either.

There really ought to be a criminal investigation. On the principle that these low life leftist fascists can't be trampling on the First Amendment and trying to influence the election.

Then again, since the retards are influencing it in Trump's favor, let 'em roll. Trump gets more lift from not speaking than he does from opening his mouth.

On Friday night the Trump campaign called off their Chicago rally due to security threats.
Leftist protesters cheered, beat Trump supporters, blocked an ambulance to the local hospital and screamed profanities at families staying at the Trump Hotel.

Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and John Kasich sided with the violent far left protesters.

The anti-Trump protesters blocked ambulances and screamed at emergency workers, “F*ck you! F*ck you! Back up and go around!”

The anti-Trump mob beat police officers outside the arena.

On top of that, prominent Republican supporters withdrew support as well.

George Soros funds groups that promote violent anarchy. He is an active accomplice and enabler. He should be thrown in clapirons.

Obama won't do anything about it, if it was really organized by all the low life animals who put HIM in power. But that's alright.

Trump is promising civil action against the organizers of those riots. Loretta Lynch has no standing in civil court. She can't "decline to prosecute." Fuck her.

'We stopped Trump!' Mob shuts down Chicago rally

    3/12/14

In the days leading up to the rally, the George Soros-backed activist group Moveon.org circulated a petition demanding officials at the taxpayer-funded school cancel the Trump campaign rally. The petition collected nearly 50,000 signatures and another 10,000 Facebook users pledged to show up to disrupt the event.
    ...
Many in the crowd jumped up and down, with arms up in the air, shouting “F— Trump!” ”Bernie! Bernie!” and “We stopped Trump!”
    ...
Siddiqui said he’s a supporter of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders and that it felt “amazing” to have stopped Trump from speaking at his own rally.

Betsy Woodruff, a reporter for the Daily Beast, called it a “victory for the protesters.”

“This is what it’s going to look like if he’s the Republican nominee,” she said on Fox News.

Ilya Sheyman, executive director of MoveOn.org, responded to news of the postponement of the rally and vowed more violent confrontations:

    -------------------------

    Bragging, right? Next up: Lying.

Moveon.Org raising funds from Trump protests, warns more disruptions to come

By Kelly Riddell - The Washington Times - Sunday, March 13, 2016

“Last night, without consulting local police, Donald Trump abruptly cancelled a rally in Chicago in the face of massive and overwhelmingly peaceful student-led protests,” MoveOn.org wrote in an email Saturday to members. “We’re being flooded with aggressive emails and social media posts from Trump supporters. Some of them are threatening. We refuse to be intimidated by Donald Trump, Fox News, or anyone else.”
    --------------------------

Yeah, I'm sure many exclaimed how "overwhelmingly peaceful" the protesters were.

Move On, Black Lives Matter, Fuck the Police, and Occupy are all communist/anarchist movements funded ultimately by Soros and all his proxies.

He is also ultimately funding a lot of the propaganda. Politifact, for instance. (Through the Knight Foundation, which has been omitted from their 990 yet has contributed more money to Politifact than all other sources combined.)

Obama will do nothing about it, because they put him in power. But now they've poked a stick at the wrong bear.

I'm convinced most Democrats are not this radical. Most are not communists. Most are not anarchists. The more this shit goes on, the more they will alienate their own base.

Trump could draw more Democrats than Reagan.

I keep hearing of a Sanders connection. I don't know what to make of it.

That scumbag's entire spiel is based on "down with Wall St.," so I just can't believe he'd be dumb enough to be in bed with a billionaire speculator and communist/anarchist like Soros.

I mean, I know Sanders is a fruitcake, but he can't possibly be THIS dumb. Can he?

    Hmmmmm...

    http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2016...on-behind-violent-protests-trump-rallies.html

I think everybody in the country has now heard about these violent protests [at Trump rallies] which are being blamed on supporters of Bernie Sanders. … This is a false-flag. These demonstrators are flying under a false banner. They are not Sanders supporters by-and-large. This is an operation directed by supporters of Hillary Clinton, paid for by George Soros and Move-On, by David Brock at Media Matters for America, also funded by Soros, and also by the reclusive billionaire Jonathan Lewis.
    ...
The idea here, very clearly, is to divide the Sanders economic voters from Trump; in other words, those voters who lost their jobs because of NAFTA and all of the other globalist international trade-deals that have screwed this country, they now realize that these voters are potentially, when Sanders is out of the race, Trump votes, and this is an effort to make Trump toxic, to disqualify him, [as a] racist, bigot, the whole thing is essentially a hoax.

“When I saw all these Bernie shirts and Bernie people saying ‘We attack!’ — you know, people shooting guns in the air saying ‘We support Bernie!’ that is so clearly a way to attack him, make him look like a radical revolutionary, and to make Hillary look good, and also make Trump look like a racist when the media plays this up. You’re absolutely right. …

I guess when they all pledged to support the eventual nominee, some of them went strictly for the literal sense, and since it hasn't been decided yet...

    Yep, Unbelievable.

It's hard to get my head around it. That this "anti-Wall St." collectivist is in bed with a billionaire anarchist Wall St. speculator. It just doesn't fit.

They say all politicians are whores.

But communists are supposed to have principles.

None of this makes any difference of course. Anyone who would consider voting for Sanders is, by definition, a low-information idiot.

    In Other Words..............

When he gets it to a point that HE feels comfortable, then it's simply over, I'm done, fuck the people having a chance to rethink their opinions, hide away so he doesn't trip over his own tongue, why risk being exposed, etc.. As I said in another thread when the Chicago deal was cancelled, don't be so sure that it wasn't his intention all along, and to look forward to more of it.

Therein the point....It is not what the people want, or the people need, or what is best, right or just, or even simply going through the process whos steps have been put in place as safeguards. It is about serving his wants, his needs and his goals.....for him. I'm sure he'll be more than glad to tell you it is simply "clever tactics on his part, shrewd business, win at all costs."

The trouble comes when/if he then has the power that can actually affect you.....Remember, he does what is best for him. Everything, everyone else is secondary at best.

Mark my words....if he wins, come back and remind me how wrong I was in two years.

    More Cruz lose!

Letters From Former Cruz Voters Switching To Trump

    3/13/2016

The outrage is deafening over Ted Cruz’s reaction to the Chicago mob that shutdown the Trump rally Friday. People are now ditching Cruz for Donald Trump.

He mentions this at the 3:10 mark.

And that's a whole 'nother story.

“Donald Trump addresses a campaign rally in St. Louis. he was scheduled to go to Chicago for a rally, but canceled after his supporters became violent.”

Trump Photo Caption: Chicago Rally Cancelled Because 'His Supporters Became Violent'

Layers of editors and fact-checkers at the Columbus (OH) Dispatch and others involved in its production "somehow" failed to detect the creation of an obviously false caption to a campaign rally photo of Donald Trump taken by a St. Louis Post-Dispatch photographer.

The photo, taken on Friday at Trump's St. Louis appearance by the Post-Dispatch's David Carson, had the following caption, apparently added surreptitiously, when it appeared in print at the Columbus Dispatch: "Donald Trump addresses a campaign rally in St. Louis. He was scheduled to go to Chicago for a rally, but canceled as his supporters became violent."

If any press story covering the Chicago rally's cancellation, for which supporters of Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders have gleefully taken credit, has claimed that Trump's supporters "became violent" first or engaged in any serious acts of violence remotely comparable to that seen from those whose stated goal was to shut down the rally, I haven't seen it.

Here is the photo with the original caption present at the St. Lous Post-Dispatch's web site (photo number 40 in a series of 46 photos):

The caption reads: "Donald Trump addresses his supporters during a campaign rally at the Peabody Opera House in St. Louis on Friday, March 11, 2016."

Carson points out that the St. Louis Post-Dispatch "didn't run the photo in print."

Here is the photo and caption as they appeared in print at the Columbus Dispatch (HT Gateway Pundit):

(M4M note: The one shown under the video)

Carson has also tweeted: "... for the record false caption on the Trump photo was not written by me." Additonally, for emphasis: "I disavow it, I'm pissed someone is using my pix with false captions."

Carson tweeted Darrel Rowland, the Public Affairs Editor at the Columbus Dispatch: "Dear @darreldrowland, it was my photo that had a false caption attached to it, I would also like to hear from you."

Rowland's initial response: "Been offline in NE Ohio most of day, sorry...I know nothing about it but just told all my eds about the situation."

Carson has also asked readers check the Columbus Dispatch's Twitter feed, @DispatchAlerts. As of 8:50 a.m., there was no acknowledgment of the caption problem, let alone how it got inserted or who did it.

Carson somehow has narrowed the perpetrator down to a specific location: "Someone on the design desk in Austin, Tx designing a page for the Columbus Dispatch." He shouldn't stop pushing until he gets a name, an apology, and an acknowledgment that the person involved has been fired.

Hopefully, there will be consequences this time around, unlike last summer in Iowa, when Ted Cruz was the object of an Associated Press photographer's "accidental" photo angle:

Isn't it amazing how items that get through the layers of editors and fact-checkers almost invariably smear or ridicule Republicans and conservatives?

Not really....They're just looking for sensational sales. So, they'll go after the easiest targets that are assured to give them ammunition. Personally I find it cruel. It's like taunting the kids on the short-bus. Not very sporting.

      Actually, that's not my line.

:D But that line was the last line of the article. I usually add a half line of dashes if I'm gonna comment at the end, like I did with the Tim Allen story.
