  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

Lol @BashfulScribe just noticed you got 2 stories in the most read all time section now. Like 10 actual users voted on them. Legion tho, right? ;)

I highly doubt it was them. The story was very popular before it was initially taken down and when I posted the first five chapters to this site the traffic on my own website also boomed. I care more about comments than named voters anyway.

If the DMV was aggressively upvoting something of mine, Breathe would have been a nice candidate. It seems to be, understandably, my least enjoyed work overall.

I'm also very honored to have my silly little high school story be listed in the top read for this site, I guess twice. I keep feeling like I'm just shouting stories into the ether and moments like that really show me that if I keep working, people notice and care. It's incredibly sweet of people.

Oh. You're saying it was me. Well, guilty. I spend all day creating new fake accounts and viewing my own story that I posted a year ago millions of times.

Grow up. My apologies if a story you didn't care for was popular.

Hey Bash! Long time no talk! I’ve been super busy and it takes me forever to write anything anymore. I’ve been perusing the last few pages here of this thread and learned two new words, “Legion” and “DMV”. It’s funny but also sad that they have such an impact on writers. I had one story hanging around for a long time at a pretty high number, then lost almost a full point over a week’s time. It had a couple thousand votes so that took some work to knock it down. Shrugs, whaddya gonna do, right? I liked what you said about just being happy if someone reads it. That’s all I want also. Well, and maybe a comment! Anyway, talk soon I hope! Cheers!

So the last book of my Queen Yavara series is ending up turning into a high-fantasy political thriller (and smut piece, obviously), much to my own surprise. I thought the plot was going one direction, but it ended up taking a completely different tangent based on the motives and desires of the characters I've established. Since I write in multiple first-person perspectives, the plot is a slave to the characters rather than the other way around. Do you guys ever end up abandoning a plot line you've established because it doesn't make sense for the characters? Or do you play narrative god, and make the characters react to the plot you've put them in?

Very good question. I usually have various points in my stories where I want it to go but how I get there is usually character driven.

The story I’m working on now, a space/smut/fantasy, has taken an entirely different direction than when I started because the characters are taking over! I just keep writing to see what they’ll do next.

Don't worry about it, i think for good writers stuff like that is supposed to happen because you have determined their personality and that character is adhering to that personality.

Of course, this means that they don't always do what you want.

I've had the same thing happen multiple times in my stories so far an I've found it's better to come up with other ways to direct them onto the path you want than forcing them to do something out of character and leave the reader with a 'wtf' moment.

I almost never actually establish plots for that exact reason. I establish characters and set events (e.g. "on the final day of the school year, this event happens," etc) but how the characters interact is fully dependent on 'them.' I consider myself more of a spectator writing down what I see happening in my imagination rather than a puppeteer controlling plots and characters and writing the story I "want" to write.

Interesting, I was a firefighter/medic and all I see is the trauma for memories. For the last twenty nine years I have been researching how to end human suffering. The root cause is called Hubris from the bible and narcissism today. They are know it all's and will never see the truth. Puppeteers could be narcissist's controlling people with their ignorance. Do you have any examples of puppeteering?

You mean when it comes to people? I think when I was younger I had my own manipulative streaks. I had a terrible habit of controlling people with their feelings. It took me a long time to realize what I was doing and stop, and now I'm trying to be more conscious of my activities.

In terms of stories, I can't say which authors consciously change events and which ones don't. I don't think that's something one can determine reading stories, at least well-written ones.

Are we just going to ignore that @Mystic47 stories are always on the top with a ton of votes? His story is the top wether its 92.8% or 96%. His vote count is enormous. His writing is trash. Dude downvotes everyone to get where he needs to be for sure. All the stories are at such a low rating just so that his can be at the top. Fucking sick of this bullshit on this fucking site.

Like you I'm not a fan of Mystic47's writing style but as a person I will go to bat for them and say they have a kind personality and a good soul. They also have a big community that eagerly awaits their writing. I understand your distrust but I don't think there's any fishiness there. I feel as though your ire would be better spent fighting the voting system on a whole rather than individuals, like them, who have done nothing wrong.

uXNXX Sex Stories has become a down voting war. The rating of Sex Stories needs to change. People are down voting stories to get them off of the monthly top rated list, which brings stories that are well written and a genuine good read to where someone who looks at the rating will not read it.

This is why I don't post my stories here. I get low ratings here due to the Trolls, which means less people reading my stories. At a website with a fair rating system, I get double the people reading my stories, which makes me happy

Get rid of the monthly top stories and I will repost my stories here.

@BluDraygn I love your stories, but if you want a fair rating don't post them here.

I appreciate the heads up @DBuck . Besides my Patreon, I post on several different sites such as Storiesonline, Literotica, and Wattpad all of which are up to date with my latest chapters, (I'm working on Chapter 13 of Book 2 Searching for the Sky as of writing this) so I'm not going to be terribly hurt by some trolls here on XNXX. Since I'm trying to make a living doing this every bit helps but I have my eggs in a number of baskets. :)

I was somewhat curious about the low scores and I thank you for enlightening me on the situation here. Not that high 80's is really bad but it's not in line with feedback I'm getting from other websites. I put a lot of time and effort into my stories and have two very talented editors helping me. Granted, only one of them has gone over the chapters currently going up. Seeing stories that would get 94%+ on other websites only pulling 88% and dropping was a bit disconcerting. On the other hand, my latest chapter has only been up here for a day and already has over 4k views which Storiesonline doesn't normally get in a week.

I would suggest going to a weighted system similar to the one SOL uses. It's significantly harder to get higher scores and a couple of trolls wont kill your story outright though they will still hurt. However, SOL's system also gets frustrating when you hit around 1k votes and it takes four votes of 10 to counteract one vote of 8 or 9.

I think a big help would be having the stories pages default to new releases instead of highest ratings. That comes with it's own pitfalls, people posting crappy short stories just to keep their name on the front page, but I feel it would be fairer to all authors and alleviate some of this downvoting nonsense.

The "rating" tab in the categories needs to be addressed as well. Each one need a '30 days', '6 months and 'all time' sub categories. How are new authors supposed to compete with a story posted back in 2008 with 300k views and a 96% rating?
FYI: On the rating tab in the Fiction category my highest rated story doesn't show up until page 168. By comparison Oni and the Farmer is number 38 of top long stories of the past year and Searching for the Sky is currently number 7 in ongoing serials on SOL. Yeah, something really needs fixing. -.-

My sincerest apologies if any of that came across as bragging, I'm only trying to point out some major discrepancies. Maybe if we are lucky someone on XNXX will take notice.

    -Blu

Calling Alberto a troll is a serious insult to actual trolls. Real trolls can be amusing sometimes this pos is nothing but an angry, delusional little child trapped in an impotent framework of narcissism.

Albertofatto is, in my experience, a nice person who has a brusque way of saying things. I enjoy his presence here, if that means anything. That said, needless to say, he has very particular tastes - your writing, which I'm reading now, is enjoyable.

    Hey all,

So I'm new here and just put my first story up on sexstories. I mostly write noncon, though I like to think I try to write something deeper than straight-forward erotica.

As a fairly new author, I have a number of questions (about this site and in general too). Regarding this site:
    1. Is it possible to edit your sexstories profile or synch it with the xnxx forum profile? I've seen some sexstories profiles that at least give the author's gender, but mine seems to just say NA.
    2. Is there any acceptable way for announcing on the forum when you've released a story? I feel like it would be good to have aplace on the forum where people could mention when they've released a story on sexstories, though there doesn't seem to be anywhere. Is it just assumed that people watch the sexstories newly published stories lists or am I missing something?
    In general:
    1. Can anyone recommend other erotic stories sites where taboo/horror themes are acceptable? I know Literotica doesn't accept such stuff.
    2. Does anyone have any good advice for new author self-promotion in general?

    Thanks :)

    1. BashfulScribe
1-1. I do not believe it is possible anymore, for some reason.
1-2. That was a big reason for me making this subforum. People won't mind if you announce new releases here.

2-1. This site is pretty good for accepting all submissions, as is storiesonline.net, adult-fanfiction.org (under 'originals') and xHamster's story section.
2-2. Keep writing, engage with other writers, and above all I'd recommend actually caring about the work of others and not just looking to promote yourself. You'll come across as a bit of a phony if you only ever talk in this forum (or anywhere) about self-promo.

I hope this helps. Feel free to send me a personal message or post here if you need anything.

    Good evening everyone.

My name is Soggy Biscuit and I'm a writer wannabe. This isn't my first account, but, according to me, due to the toxic behavior and childishness associated with my mother account, I've decided to make this my main account. I think that sexstories.com is a good website, but with its flaws. There is little control over trolls, and personally, I am not a fan of the Top Rated Sex Stories - Last 30 Days section. I'm also not trying to complain, but I don't like the Mods. I feel that sometimes they don't enforce the Pedophilia nor the Under 18 years old rule fairly. For example, I once wrote a now-deleted story of a girl. In one of the many dialogues in the story, she vaguely talked about her sexual encounters with her friend. It didn't get past the moderators. But, if your familiar with the website, you know it's filled with stories about underage sex, especially under the incest tag.

If you look at my profile in sexstories.com, You can see I don't have any stories on the site. Over the past two years, I've dabbled in the writing field but never written in my opinion, a good solid read. But, hopefully, I have a new story idea that I hope I can find the words, the strength, the time, and the patience to transfer it from my brain, and write and expand it on paper ( or in this case, internet). Hopefully, I will be successful in my endeavors but I still have a few questions:

    1) Is there a way to communicate with the Mods?

    2) What are some of your tips on how to deal with trolls?

    3) Do you consider sexstories.com a good place to publish your work?

    4) How long does it take for the Mods to approve a story?

    5) Do you know any authors who I can go to for advice and help?

    6) Do you recommend the Registered Only voting option?

    7) Can you block people?

    Thank you in advance :)

This sure will be interesting to see what you produce for public consumption. Your story will have plenty of comments....lol. Good luck buddy. I can't wait to read it.

Oh yeah, nothing you can do about it. Even if you put Registered Voters only, the Legion or as @BashfulScribe calls them, the DMV...lol, will get you.

Just post it and let's see what you got. I'll definitely will be commenting. Constructive criticism only, rest assured. Lol

Thanks for the mention, @throatHER . You're too good to me. ;)

      1. Yes, by either the 'contact us' section on the story site or by finding a moderator on the forum and sending them a message there.

      2. Ignoring is the best policy. Not getting discouraged and keeping on writing will be your best offense against them. Remember that they want acknowledgement, and want you to stop writing. Starve them of their food.

      3. As a starting point, yes. If you're looking to get serious with erotica writing, publish to many sites concurrently and see what following you get on what sites.

      4. It can take less than a day, it can take over a week. It's anyone's guess, really.

      5. Most, if not all, of the authors here are willing to hlep new authors succeed, as well as sharing info with one another. For instance, if you wish you can message me anytime.

      6. It's a matter of philosophy. Many recommend it. I'm not sure how I feel about it.

      7. (This one I don't know)

      Hope this helps!
