According to Democrat presidential hopeful Tulsi Gabbard, her party’s vote on impeachment may backfire in 2020. While taking to Twitter on Monday, the Hawaii lawmaker posted a video suggesting that the House impeachment push has increased the probability Republicans will flip seats red in 2020.

Gabbard was the only Democrat to vote “present” on both articles of impeachment against President Trump after citing her concerns with the partisanship throughout the probe.

In her most recent video, she said she is concerned Democrat’s efforts to impeach President Trump will lead to a Republican controlled House, Senate and White House after next year’s elections.

A lot of attention has been focused on the saga of Hunter Biden. Other than occasionally surfacing the public consciousness for some brazen act of disregard for public mores (getting commissioned in the Navy Reserve by using your father’s influence, getting booted from the Navy for cocaine use, spending the family money on hookers and blow, dumping your family, boffing your dead brother’s widow, dumping your dead brother’s widow, impregnating a stripper, having strippers use dildos on you, marrying a woman after only knowing her for a week), Hunter has led a life out of the public view.

He’s lately been thrust to center-stage thanks to the impeachment procedure underway against President Trump. In March 2014, Joe Biden was designated Barack Obama’s “point person” on Ukraine policy. Somehow this official role for Joe Biden resulted in Hunter Biden getting a gig on the board of directors of Burisma, the largest private national gas producer in Ukraine, on May 13, 2014. For a guy who had no experience in the gas business, who could speak neither Russian nor Ukrainian, who had no experience acting as either corporate counsel or overseeing ‘corporate governance’ as his board position required, this $83,000/month, cash-only job was a very fortuitous occurrence. Hunter Biden is sort of experienced in these kinds of jobs falling in his lap. He was appointed to a seat on Amtrak’s board of directors despite having zero experience in the industry. In his incarnation as a partner in ‘BHR Partners,’ a company focused on investing in China, he traveled to Beijing on Air Force Two and left with a deal worth $1.5 billion.

Hunter, or ‘my only living son’ as Biden called him on the campaign trail a couple of weeks ago, is a guy who, had his father not been a prominent Democrat politician, would have done prison time by now. But he is, so he hasn’t and he probably never will.

But Hunter is only part of a pattern.

In 2009, Joe Biden was appointed Barack Obama’s ‘point person’ on Iraq policy. While Biden did fail to negotiate a Status of Forces Agreement that would have allowed US forces to lock in the hard-won gains of The Surge and was on the scene and running US policy in Iraq as ISIS formed and metastasized and as Iraq gradually became an Iranian satrapy, it was not a total loss. In November 2010, Joe Biden’s brother, James, was appointed to the board of directors of HillStone International, a subsidiary of New Jersey-based construction firm Hill International. In June 2011, HillStone landed a $1.5 billion contract to build houses in Iraq. HillStone had near zero experience in residential construction. It has even less in an environment like Iraq. The whole project collapsed and James Biden walked away with what was reported to be ‘a good share’ of that money.

Note the similarities. Biden is appointed to lead US diplomatic efforts in a country. Suddenly, a Biden relative is the recipient of a large amount of cash from a local company to do a job for which he has absolutely no qualifications…other than being related to Joe Biden.

Democratic presidential candidates react to strike that killed Qassem Soleimani; Petter Doocy reports.

DUBUQUE, Iowa -- Joe Biden is the only 2020 presidential candidate who was in the White House Situation Room as Navy SEALs descended on Usama bin Laden’s Pakistan compound in 2011.

But a critical detail in his story about that mission has changed in the last eight years.

During a brief exchange with Fox News on Friday, the former vice president was presented with a hypothetical situation similar to the one President Trump says he faced before ordering an airstrike to kill Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani.


“As commander in chief, if you were ever handed a piece of intelligence that said you could stop an imminent attack on Americans -- but you have to use an airstrike to take out a terrorist leader -- would you pull the trigger?” Fox News asked Biden.

“Well we did - the guy’s name was Usama bin Laden,” Biden replied.

“Didn’t you tell President Obama not to go after bin Laden that day?” Fox News followed up.

“No, I didn’t,” Biden said.

That’s not the story Biden told almost eight years ago during a retreat in Maryland for congressional Democrats, as he described a tense 2011 strategy session ahead of the raid.

“Mr. President, my suggestion is, don’t go -- we have to do two more things to see if he’s there,” Biden had said in January 2012 of the strategy session.


The Republican National Committee (RNC) hit back at Biden over Friday's claim.

"This isn’t another instance of Joe Biden misspeaking, it’s an instance of Biden flat-out lying," spokesman Steve Guest said.

At Friday’s event in Dubuque, Biden also argued that Thursday’s Trump-ordered airstrike targeting Soleimani crossed a dangerous line.

“No matter how rightly reviled he was in the West, he was a senior figure in the Iranian government,” Biden said.

As tensions increase in the Middle East following Soleimani’s death, Biden expressed mixed feelings about President Trump’s decision to send several thousand American troops to the region.

“I don’t know and you don’t know what the hell he’s done,” Biden told Fox News. “We don’t know if he’s coordinated with our allies, we have no idea what commitments he’s made, we have no idea. I just hope he has a plan for second and third iterations of this -- but it’s clear there’s going to have to be more folks there to protect the embassy, to protect American personnel in Iraq.”

Generals Rommel or Robert.E. Lee or N. Vietnam's Giap would've been subject to the same standard, also for their "crimes" against the peace.

One thing for sure, 'framing the execution' in this way drapes the impeached-pretrial Trump in the mantle of a 'in conflict-threatened' President, and thus a timely fortuitous act to benefit his impeachment and re-election status.
