"ace's", both you and "shootersa" pointed out things I knew I had overlooked in replying.

Bin Laden was a legacy target of self-admitted guilt, tho' I think he was more an emeritus strategist and symbol at the time of his being taken out near the FRONT YARD of the Pakistani Military Academy! Baghdadi was an on going threat (as the other-Libs would call Trump an on-going crime...).

My implication was by the rationale you have presented: Trump was more interested in the GREATER benefit (NOT!) it would do for the general safety and welfare of the region and with NO political benefit for him (HA!), the neo-isolationist/no more foreign involvements for the any of the wasteful incidental deaths and casualties-for his opportunistic and transactionally-minded self. (Taking an attributed quote from Stalin, "One death is a tragedy. [Many] deaths are just a regrettable statistic") applicable for the volunteer-economic-patriots, serving militarist minds and cynical politicians' policies.. Do you really thinks he gives a crap about the Arab-Muslim-Kurdish-Shia civilians who'd be collateral damage going forward??

We can see by the majority Democrat and MSM commentary on the killing that they still with deferring reverence suck the cock of militarist necessity.

Trump and his whisperer, Pompeo, have been seeking ways for the Iranians to do something dramatic and reckless as a reaction to the economic pressure and the military deployments about their country. So this was an inevitable play, but surprising that it was NOT done with BOLTON, earlier. (AND maybe a way to put a non-testifying salve on Bolton's bruised pride.)

This has been the ploy to bolster the cultural rationale that's cathartic to the supporters of the Trump Regime. And it is an example of the contending paradigms of opportunistic impunity confronting conventional formalities of process. Trump. etal., have seen that (to give an homage to the banditos of the 'Treasure of the Sierra Madres'), "We don't need no stinkin' conventions or process for justification!, to which the academically trained establishment thinkers of media and politics subject themselves. There's no sympathy with their base, either. for whom conventions and process are the arbitrariness of the rules of conventions that's been unfair to their grievances.

If my hunch of regional flare ups-much like the disruptive, regional consequences of climate change, which are occurring in Australia, etc- requiring deployments of the DEPLORABLE's kids and other economic-patriot hostages, to render their vows of duty and obedience to the consequential CONVENTIONS-N-PROCESSES of their military vows and oaths to those (AND to leave no doubt about who"those" are-theTrump Crime Administration) who have little to no regard for honest conventions or processes, WILL THERE BE THE CONTINUED CONSUMERIST 'ALL WE WANT TO DO IS DANCE [AND CONSUME]' mentality of the general public OR will they be out in the streets against such state of political affairs without going through the formality of rationalizing their acts with a new
    'Declaration of Revolution'???

OR will there be a DESPICABLE's version of John Wilkes Booth, who will martyr themselves for their successful attempt of consummating and reasserting Booth's call in their own non-conventional, non-process dispatching of THOSE perceived worthy of the motto, "Sic semper Tyranni!"?

Obama was and IS a classic example: from neighborhood organizer to 'the neighbor' in Martha's Vineyard..
Ya know, when I first heard about him in '85, a chill coursed through me..
Will still be looking to read the suggested book..

The lie of conservatism is bankrupt and can no longer win elections. So the only way Republicans can win is if they cheat.

Despite all the admonitions from the corporate-free market Dems and Never-Trumpers for moderating agendas, this will be a cultural election of IDENTITY of what type of humanity will be the defining projection of this nation.. For that reason, it's the Dems, by their demographic numbers, to lose. The corollary admonition is will the Dem leadership so betray its base that the base chooses to stay home and risk civil nullification and disobedience than put up with just an apologist for the past-narratives of (Neo-)liberal politics

Shooter thinks that if the econimy holds Trump will be almost unbeatable.
History shows its the best predictor for incumbents to win is the economy.

Plus, despicables have wasted 3 plus years trying to get Trump and when the option is to reelect Trump or elect whatever tax increasing, open border seeking free program shit opponent, well, the economy would have to go full nuclear for Trump to lose.

I grudgingly agree that as long as folks think they got theirs, they'll say, "Fuck others.." outside of their own circles...
It's not gonna be a good result.. As the scripts of fictional TV seem to be speaking more to what I'm seeing than what others are telling me to believe than my 'lying eyes..'.

AMERICANS who feel they "got theirs" doesn't mean "fuck others". It means life is good, why rock the boat?

Why do despicables always assume that when one is prosperous, its on the back of others?

Report: Biden Played a Critical Role that Helped Iran and Terror Leader Soleimani Gain Control in Iraq
Posted at 2:30 pm on January 5, 2020 by Nick Arama

The Iraqi parliament has voted to “work on a plan” to end all foreign troops in Iraq. This was pushed by pro-Iranian MPs, some Sunni politicians and pro-Iraq politicians boycotted the vote.

This may be no more than a face-saving measure by the pro-Iran boys in parliament because the other MPs surely would miss the billions in aid they’ve been getting from the U.S. to help the government.

As my colleague Streiff reported earlier, part of the confusing situation there is that we are propping up the government, providing them support, but Iran has been seeding its people in positions of power.

So while most of the Iraqis want Iran out, Iran has substantial power in the present government.

This problem was facilitated by the Obama administration’s coddling of Iran. It’s not a secret or surprise that Iran has been trying to take over Iraq from within but the Obama administration didn’t just sit by while it happened, but made conscious decisions that helped it to happen, as the Free Beacon reports.

Former vice president Joe Biden reportedly played a decisive role in enabling recently assassinated Iranian terror leader Qassem Soleimani to push the United States out of Iraq and deliver the country into the hands of Iran.

In 2010, as Iraq faced pivotal elections that decided the country’s direction, Soleimani went to great lengths to ensure Iranian-backed politicians won control of the government, according to a comprehensive 2013 New Yorker profile of the terror leader by Dexter Filkins.

During that time, Filkins reported, then-vice president Biden called pro-America Iraqi politician Ayad Allawi to demand he stop trying to form a government. This crucial call paved the way for Soleimani to orchestrate an Iranian takeover of the Iraqi political system, according to interviews Filkins conducted with numerous sources.

Pro-American Allawi had won the largest number of seats and could have gotten a majority, he believed, with U.S. help. But that help wasn’t forthcoming. Instead, Biden threw him under the bus, he told Filkins “He told me that Vice-President Joe Biden called to tell him to abandon his bid for Prime Minister, saying, ‘You can’t form a government.'”

Yet Biden attacked Trump after he killed Soleimani, claiming he was tossing “a stick of dynamite into a tinderbox.” That takes some nerve, given the mess that he and Obama left in Iraq.

“The Americans knew that Suleimani had pushed them out of the country but were too embarrassed to admit it in public,” Filkins reported.

“‘We were laughing at the Americans,’ the former Iraqi leader told me, growing angry as he recalled the situation. ‘F—k it! F—k it!’ he said. ‘Suleimani completely outmaneuvered them, and in public they were congratulating themselves for putting the government together.'”

Allow said this basically handed the country over to the Iranians. “Iraq is a failed state now, an Iranian colony.'”

The Obama administration also did a variety of things that aided Iran and IRGC terrorist leader Qasem Soleimani in their efforts to secure the Iran Deal.

They sent “pallets of cash” that helped prop up the mullahs and the economy as their people were protesting against them, arguing it was money they were legally owed. But as we previously reported, there are multiple pending judgments for American victims against Iran because of Iranian terrorism, over $56 billion by one count in 2016.

The Obama administration even reportedly interfered in DEA investigations into Hezbollah, which was formed by the IRGC and Iran to harass Israel and commit other terrorist acts.

    From Fox News:

The Obama administration gave a free pass to Hezbollah’s drug-trafficking and money-laundering operations — some of which were unfolding inside the U.S. — to help ensure the Iran nuclear deal would stay on track, according to a bombshell exposé in Politico Sunday.

An elaborate campaign led by the Drug Enforcement Administration, known as Project Cassandra, reportedly targeted the Lebanese militant group’s criminal activities. But by tossing a string of roadblocks holding back the project, Obama administration officials helped allow the 35-year-old anti-Israel criminal enterprise to evolve into a major global security threat bankrolling terrorist and military operations, the report added.

“This was a policy decision, it was a systematic decision,” David Asher, who helped establish Project Cassandra as a Defense Department illicit finance analyst in 2008, told Politico. “They serially ripped apart this entire effort that was very well supported and resourced, and it was done from the top down.”

Con Coughlin of the Telegraph reported they even appear to have given Soleimani something like an amnesty after all he had done, as part of the Iran Deal.

From a purely British perspective, he was responsible for training and equipping the Shia militias in southern Iraq who killed scores of British troops during the dark days of Iraq’s sectarian conflict following the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, and was reported to have trained the Taliban in the art of making deadly roadside bombs that killed and mutilated our Service personnel serving in southern Afghanistan.

So you can imagine my amazement when, leafing through the more obscure annexes of President Barack Obama’s “historic” deal with Iran (page 86 of the annex, to be precise), I found that Mr Suliemani – as the White House no doubt now refers to him – has been granted an amnesty and taken off the list of proscribed Iranians – together with a number of senior members of the Revolutionary Guards.

Still fixing Obama's and Biden's foreign policies debacles...imagine that.

Biden was never right about a damn thing pertaining to foreign policy, and Obama didn't give a tender tinkers rats ass about it other than abiding by U.N. regulations and pissing on the U.S. Constitution.

@shootersa said "Why do despicables always assume that when one is prosperous, its on the back of others?"

Because what's fine for some is in this paradigm is indirectly associated within the same web in which tragedy-earned and unearned-occurs to the point that, in toto, it's more than the individual choices, but the condition that influence those choices and contributing conditions. More importantly,WHAT'S the ENDS of FREE WILL and agency for arguable satisfaction is NOT seen with the same presumed consensus based on 'What the fuck more could one do?' as a free pass for "It is what it is.."

For me, personally, (as an apocryphal side bar) my inherited condition of a 'seventh sense' that provides an unwitting preparatory condition for future experiences by the most unforeseen and many times unwanted 'Forrest Gumpian' encounters tells a contrarian narrative to what iconic American and general materialism holds out as the means and the ends of life. What has been the 'this is what's supposed to be all about' revelation is a minimalism, close to ascetic necessity for being a component in a relay transmission system that has little to nothing to do with the Tarbaby matrix of existence of this and other dramas of social relation issues. It is the serendipities and its synchronicities of acutely high mental energy of uncanny meaning and comprehension that all of us are parts of a total energy system, that sublimely does not necessary need the trappings of matter.

So the temporal concerns of materiality are more the illusions of a suggestive hypnotic conditioning, to which I've had less and less affinity over the years as this 'Forrest Gumpian' serial narrative has unwound itself for me. Anything that ties people (and me, in particular) to material trappings unnecessarily, at the least, and absolutely, on a utopian basis, I find as qualitatively disagreeable. [Though the forms of energy projected provide marvelous moments of reflection].

There is no doubt Iran will seek to respond to Trump's assassination of Suleimani but when?

And many Iran experts are now saying they believe Iran will just bide its time and strike while Trump is in the middle of his presidential campaign.

    1. shootersa
      Bring it.
      The military is always ready.

Imagine if the Iranians decide on, say, September 15, to assasinate a high pentagon official, or blow up the Lincoln memorial.

Whether the Iranians Succeed or not, Trump hits his 52 Iranian targets, using drones and seal teams and cruise missiles.

At that point, Trump would beat God himself in an election.

And when it rains it pours. Wonderful irony. Moscow really wanted Pompeo to nail down that senate seat. It was also Pompeo's escape hatch. But the proposal to assassinate Qasem Soleimani,Qasem Soleimani, was so extreme the Pentagon did not believe he would ever use it. But Pompeo has wanted to do the hit for years. So he either talked Trump into it or at least willingly went along. And now he's stuck and can't quit in the middle of the crisis he and Trump created. And now the Democrats at least have a prayer of picking up a Senate seat in Kansas where they didn't have one if Pomoeo decided to run.

Mike Pompeo dashes McConnell’s hopes by refusing to run for Senate — and jeopardizes the GOP in Kansas

    What crisis?
    We put down a terrorist.
    Iran is frothing and spewing.
Let em spew. If they try anything we really fuck them up.

    But, crisis?

    Oh.
    Wait.
    The despicable crisis.
The whole "assasinated a foreign official" thingy isn't working.

If its not a crisis and no big deal why the the government tell all US residents to leave Iraq and we're are sending more than 3,000 troops in? Why all the confusion over leaving Iraq? Why are our armed forces and diplomatic missions on high alert all over the world?

Anyway lets get back on topic.

Trump is so terrible that we do not need to worry about a third party on the left taking votes away from the Democrat nominee. The various Democrat primary candidates and their supporters will unite behind the candidate who wins the Democrat nomination. Trump is the one who needs to worry about a third party on the right. The alt right is opposed to the war he wants to fight with Iran. They do not think he is doing enough to keep out non white immigrants. Country club Republicans like George Will recoil from Trump's ignorance and his low class vulgarity. Libertarians do not like his tariffs and his increasing of farm subsidies. Libertarians also do not want a war with Iran.

GOP PAC ‘WinRed’ sees a 300% jump in anti-impeachment related donations

Voters against impeachment are dishing out cash to voice their support for President Trump. In a series of tweets Monday, GOP PAC ‘WinRed‘ announced it raised $101 million in the second half of 2019, including nearly $35 million raised after the House’s October 31st vote to begin impeachment proceedings.

The group claims anti-impeachment-related fundraising efforts garnered 300 percent more donations when compared to its non-impeachment related fundraisers. As a result, the group said their average donation amount jumped 176 percent before the end of 2019.

The group said the ongoing impeachment process kick-started an amazing outpouring of support and momentum for the PAC. In comparison to its Democrat rival ‘ActBlue,’ WinRed‘ raised more money in its first quarter than ‘ActBlue‘ in its first three and a half years of operation.

In that time, ‘WinRed‘ reported it received $30 million in donations with an average contribution of $46 versus ‘ActBlue‘s’ reported $29.9 million earned between 2004 and 2008. ‘WinRed‘s’ funds will be used to support President Trump reelection bid as well as other GOP 2020 campaigns.

YIKES.. if this wont put more sand in the vaginas of the leftists..
