I’m currently listening to my kid singing very badly and very loudly in the shower.

 

Finally got a field call out today, not one of our usual clients or even our type of machine but it uses the same controller and computer so we got the call. It was a damn candy factory here in country, just a few hours away. The stink of the sugar gave me a headache but actually working on something outside of the office for a change.

Today I received some jewelry templates that ordered from Amazon. Shields, fat shields and thin shields They are gonna make some nice pendants.

 

I normally shy away from political things on XNXX but I grinned ear-to-ear to read George Will's editorial that Biden should consider choosing Rhode Island's governor Raimondo as his running mate. George Will, a right-wing conservative columnist said the Biden-Raimondo ticket would "... restore adult supervision in Washington." That conservatives with intellect and conscious are so evidently finished supporting Trump makes me cheer, hurrah and smile broadly.

 

How could this not make anyone smile? It made my day

 

Two young trampers found safe and well

after 19 days lost in very rugged country ,
in our second biggest national park ,
(covers 4,529 square kilometres)
in cold wet inclement weather.

Just goes to show , if you follow good advice and go prepared , and do the right thing ,
you can survive ,
and you will be found.

They only had very minor injuries , and both walked from the rescue (army) chopper ,
and we're discharged from hospital the same night.

Apparently disoriented by thick fog , they got lost , and then each suffered minor injuries , and stayed in place , untill they could move to a better position , and then hunkered down and waited it out , as recommended.
They were out of food a few days , but again , staying in place , they did and had not wasted energy or body condition.

Both of their set of parents had come out here to help and hope ,
so you can imagine the reunion after days of searching.

Hungry and exhausted after a 19-day ordeal lost in "hostile" thick bush, a young couple were plucked from a tiny 3m clearing after their fire signalled a helicopter above.

Despite both suffering injuries during their dramatic ordeal, they survived freezing temperatures (met survice say temps got as low as minus 8 in the area while they were lost) ,
with rescuers crediting the pair's "excellent equipment" for keeping them alive.

After the pair failed to emerge as expected they were reported missing on May 18
(10 days after enterning the park)
and a massive search operation was launched.

Searchers initially had good weather on their side but the search was suspended over the weekend due to heavy rain, reducing the odds of the pair being found alive.

The two say they spent nearly two weeks without food - and their only saving grace was water they had found.

Dion Reynolds revealed that he had only realised the pair were walking in a loop around a Manuka forest after he recognised one of his own footprints in the mud.

"I told Jess we need to stop now because that's my footprint. We were very lost at that point,"

About a week ago, he said they spotted a helicopter flying over and lit the fire again to grab its attention.

"It got to about what I assumed would be five-thirty or six o'clock in the evening and we saw a Westpac Rescue helicopter fly up the gully and straight at us... and they just didn't spot us because it was real poor lighting. After that, it really bolstered our hopes a whole lot."

My kid told me that it’s nice that when he talks to me I put my phone down or pause the movie or whatever, and I listen to him when he has something to say. And so I was like, yea of course! But he said his dad never stops what he’s doing to listen. Not that I’m competing with his dad, but if I was, I’d be a point ahead

 

I saved this guys life today. I wonder how old it was .

 

I cooked chili today and didn't fuck it up.

My daughter telling me the saga of trying to potty train her new puppy.

 

She is so tiny . Sleeps anywhere .

 

Everyone wants the puppy I end up with the training part . I’m tired of being nice . Damit
