You hit upon another thing our resident racist constantly ignores. US public schools are another form of racism, discrimination, and segregation. In most places in the US schools are funded by local taxes and often with something called "assessed evaluation" which determines how much funding a school gets. So naturally especially inner city schools where poverty is rampant they receive a lot less money. And we can see this in the more affluent schools were students might be3 issued computers for textbooks and assignments while in an inner city school they don't even have enough textbooks.

Also it is just so stupid and ignorant (two different things) for some members here to try and claim people from other countries don't have any right to discuss and/or condemn what goes on in the US when Trump and the US effects the entire world. Including police violence against innocent people.

You do not seem to have learned much from the failures of the 1960's in the United States. Your ideas were fashionable in the United States during the early 1960's. By the late 1960's white liberals were sending their children to private schools so that they would not have to attend black majority public schools. The problem was not that the public schools were under funded. In most cases they were not. The problem is that they were dangerous environments for whites and the few blacks who "acted white" by trying to learn.

 

The protesters in front of the WH were doing none of those things. They were peacefully exercising their First Amendment rights.

Trump and I definitely disagree on this issue. Federal troops introduced into the separate states without express permission from those state’s leaders is to me an overreach of federal power unless those states are in clear flagrant violation of federal law. That is not true in this case.

But I’m not there so I don’t get too worked up about it. It’s interesting that so many on here who are not even US citizens do get this worked up about it though.

Sadly there are much more pressing human rights issues all over the world.

Protestors have a right to speak their mind but only to peacefully assemble.

Violence and looting have no connection to the first amendment and I have no reason at this point to think that these are issues that the separate states can’t handle on their own.
