There is just over a week. That is plenty of time to write a story. If you are thinking about it, then do it. It can be a fun experience. Let's get some entries in!

 

If you are finished with your CAW entry, if you have had it proofed, and you are 100% sure that it's ready to go to press, then you have two options. If you wish to send it via PM, you can send it to this CAW SOP account. I'm not sure of the word length restrictions, so, if it doesn't send, you'll need to try method #2. That's sending a PM to CAW SOP and requesting an email address where you can send your entry. Whichever method you choose, you'll get a reply to know that your entry was received.

I am sure that the above spam will be removed shortly, and this post will not make sense, but I miss Mods.

 

I know we still have a little time, but I don't think that I am going to be able to have a submission ready. There is just too much going on right now.

 

It's fine. We have three entries so far, and I know of one other. It's going to be a disappointing CAW by most standards, and I take full responsibility for the *suckage*, since it was my idea. The next winner will hopefully learn from this debacle and pick something far easier.

 

I call bullshit. There was no "suckage" with this idea. The problem is the forum has only a fraction of the active, participating members it once did.

And yes, I have a story. I still want to proof it one more time, but I've been rather busy myself lately.

I'm out on this one. I began writing a story but I have had too many computer problems. Has anyone tried writing a story using the Windows visual keyboard?

 

I would like to address this to both of our hosts .

I personally think that this CAW was a great theme. I had an inspiration almost immediately to build upon. I know that others feel the same.

Until the deadline, there is no way of knowing how many entries there will be. If there are only a handful, then so be it. If there is one great story, then to me it is worth it. (It will probably be mine! ) I understand the tendency to blame yourself, I do it all the time, but please don't think that participation may be down because of anything you have done. We all can see some of the problems going on here right now. Thanks for a great CAW challenge.

Now if you will excuse me, I have a story to give a final edit to. I only have a day left!

 

I have now sent in my story.

Interesting tid-bit. I think it is the first story that I have written completely, 100% sober! If it does well, I am quitting writing! No way I can keep this sobriety shit up for long! Then again, the edit wasn't done dry.



I have always been a bit backward!

 

Still trying to sit up long enough to give one more look at my story before submission.
