Downtown Portland has seen over 50 straight nights of criminal violence perpetrated by anarchists targeting city and federal properties and those that inhabit them. On July 3rd, before the surge of DHS law enforcement officers to Portland, Mayor Wheeler said the violence had “been going on for more than a month now” and called for the “nightly violence” to end.

The Portland Police Department has declared a riot on numerous occasions because of the nightly violence, which occurred well before the federal presence increased in early July.

Enforcing federal law is not by invitation. The FBI, DEA, ATF, and other federal law enforcement agencies do not require local requests from communities to enforce federal law.

Federal law clearly states that DHS has the authority to protect federal property and arrest criminals who damage federal property or attack federal officers.

Local and state leaders have prohibited the Portland police from enforcing laws that could bring this violence to an end.

Federal law, in particular 40 U.S.C. § 1315, clearly states that the Secretary of Homeland Security “shall protect the buildings, grounds, and property that are owned, occupied, or secured by the Federal Government.”

Federal officers have been protecting the courthouse in downtown Portland since it was built 1997.

40 U.S.C. § 1315 explicitly states that DHS may “conduct investigations, on and off the property in question, of offenses that may have been committed against property owned or occupied by the Federal Government or persons on the property.”

Acting in conjunction with the Department of Justice, DHS law enforcement officers are expressly authorized to leave federal property to conduct investigations and arrest individuals who have damaged federal property or attacked federal agents.

DHS officers are clearly identifiable as law enforcement officers.

Federal law enforcement officers in Portland and cities across America wear uniforms that clearly identify themselves as “POLICE.” Moreover, all uniforms contain other insignia that identifies their units or team.

In Portland, officers are not wearing name tags because of doxing attacks against law enforcement officers, which threaten the safety of not only our officers but also of their families.

In the absence of individual names, each officer wears a unique identifier.

The persistent mob violence in Portland every night and the failure of city officials to maintain law and order necessitate DHS’ increased presence.

DHS law enforcement officers are there to protect a symbol of justice, the courthouse, along with federal property and personnel.

This is mostly done from a defensive posture.

Because of a lack of state and local leadership, DHS law enforcement officers have been forced to take measures such as making arrests in order to protect our officials and federal property.

Portland and Chicago are completely different situations.

In Portland, what we see is almost two months of coordinated violent attacks by anarchists against a federal courthouse and the federal law enforcement officers sworn to protect it. Other federal property in other cities is being protected by both federal and local law enforcement.

In Chicago, what we see is an unprecedented rise in crime against fellow citizens.

The DHS mission in Portland is to protect federal property. In Chicago, the mission is to assist DOJ in protecting the public from violent crime on the streets.

When states reopened in late April and May with plenty of infected people within their borders, cases began to grow. COVID-19 is highly transmissible, makes a large subset of people who catch it seriously ill, and kills many more people than the flu or any other infectious disease circulating in the country.

‘Umbrella man’ who sparked Minneapolis riots identified as racist biker gang member

Police have identified the so-called “umbrella man” who set off a chain reaction that led to days of rioting and looting during Minneapolis protests against George Floyd’s killing.

The man was identified as a 32-year-old white supremacist associated with the biker gangs Aryan Cowboys and Hell’s Angels, but his name was not released because he has not yet been charged, reported the Star Tribune.

“This was the first fire that set off a string of fires and looting throughout the precinct and the rest of the city,” police arson investigator Erika Christensen wrote in a search warrant affidavit filed this week in court. “Until the actions of the person your affiant has been calling ‘Umbrella man,’ the protests had been relatively peaceful. The actions of this person created an atmosphere of hostility and tension. Your affiant believes that this individual’s sole aim was to incite violence.”

Christensen said the suspect was identified through an email tip received last week.

The masked man intended to incite further racial tension in the demonstrations that had remained peaceful to that point, but the resulting violence left two people dead and caused an estimated $500 million in property damage.

A livestream video recorded May 27, two days after Floyd’s killing by officers, showed the man walk up to an AutoZone store, smash the windows with a sledgehammer and then argue with protesters who asked him to stop.

The man had also painted “free sh*t for everyone zone” on the store’s glass doors.

Police connected the man to an incident in Stillwater, Minnesota, where men wearing white supremacist clothes menaced a Muslim woman and her 4-year-old daughter at a restaurant.

The men in that incident were wearing leather vests marked with insignia of the Aryan Cowboys, Hell’s Angels and Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.

“Umbrella man” had been rumored to be a St. Paul police officer, but the department released video evidence they say shows that individual had not been in Minneapolis at the time of the Auto Zone vandalism.

I guess I'm an eternal optimist, but I'm envisioning this year's events in these major cities as a critical reason for local voters to rid themselves of the corrupt, self-serving Democrats who have fucked their own cities and the people who live in them for some vague, Leftist Utopia ideal.

Let's have some good Conservatives run these cities for a few years. You will undoubtedly see lower crime, more employment opportunity for all, and the restoration of these municipalities as a place where decent, hardworking people of all races and creeds can pursue their dreams in a safe and fair environment.

After 50+ years under Dem control, these cities have gone to shit.

The Department of Homeland Security has been ordered to immediately stop compiling “intelligence reports” on journalists covering protests in Portland after the insidious practice was exposed in an article in The Washington Post. Late Thursday, the Post reported that the department’s intelligence office sent out intel to federal law-enforcement agencies on tweets written by two journalists, one from The New York Times and another from the blog Lawfare. The reports are said to have noted that the journalists published leaked, unclassified documents about DHS operations in Portland during the raging protests. After the story was published, Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf ordered the office to stop compiling the reports. “In no way does the acting secretary condone this practice and he has immediately ordered an inquiry into the matter,” said a department spokesperson, adding that Wolf is committed to upholding the “principles of professionalism, impartiality and respect for civil rights and civil liberties, particularly as it relates to the exercise of First Amendment rights.”

Now this is revealing.

So the wall of moms in Portland is falling apart.
It seems the founder, Bev Barnum, BLM leaders and a "don't shoot Portland" organization had a snit fest so the BLM people declared wall o moms to be "anti blackness".

The interesting part in all this is that in an earlier interview, Bev Barnum stated they were formed by and answered to BLM leadership. She described it as " they say jump, we jump".

Yahoo news reported that last week the cracker leaders of wall o moms were stepping down to make room for black women to take over.
