After breaking multiple bones I would have to say:

Dislocated shoulder ...did it 13 times before surgery

Lets see it was either July 11, 1970 when I was being towed on a motorcycle with 30 feet of rope and my stepfather took a 40 mph exit at about 75 mph. I hit the guard rail once but the second time I tried to jump off my motorcycle over the guard rail. Never saw that sign post coming though so I ended up with my leg broken in two places making a perfect square with the toe of my boot touching my hip.

Or it could have been January 28, 1995 when I got pulled off the top of a railroad car by an air hose. I tried to jump across to the next railroad car but it wasn't my day and instead I hit the grab bar with my forehead and started falling backwards of the railroad car. My left hand touched one of the ladder rungs and I grabbed it. Can't beat the laws of physics though there was too much mass and too much momentum to hold on with one arm, so instead it pulled a chunk of bone right off the end of my humerous, dislocated the shoulder detaching all tendens muscles and rotator cuff, and permanently damaged the nerves in the back of the shoulder which suffered atrophy.

Each of those were equally excruciating, but the difference is I pretty much fully recovered from the motorcycle wreck, but I haven't had a day without pain since January 28, 1995.

Definitely having my heart broken was the worst....there is nothing in the world...no drink, drug, person....that can make that pain go away, only time takes it away....

Medically, the worst pain was after some female surgery and being cut across like a c-section...hurt to move, laugh, cough, breathe, thank God for demeral...i definitely admire any woman who has child birth with no drugs!

The first one.

No kidding. I've been through more than the average bear - car accidents, motorcycle accidents, plane crash, hand therapy, artificial hip and knee...

But when the guy told me the cortisone shot (shoulder) was going to hurt - seriously... He wasn't kidding. Unbelievable. Most intense 45 seconds I've ever been through. Absolutely stunning. I told him I was impressed.

And within a half hour, I was driving home. Without the pain that caused me to go see the sadist in the first place. It came back a year later, and I reluctantly went back for more. Much easier the second time, for what it's worth. It's been a few years, and I can deal with it as it is.

The process works, but it'll wake your ass up.
