I've only been messing around with this software for a few days, but what do you think? Please rate my pics and movies.

I think it is at least an 8 for just a beginer.

Thats awesome. Those programs are really cool. I give it an 8.

 

I like the technique, and definitely appreciate the more artistic approach to the scenes. At the same time though, don't be afraid to get in and get your hands dirty with some of the advanced rendering options. Poser can be REMARKABLY lifelike, if you tool with your settings enough. While my own work in Poser and 3DSMax isn't really worthy of showing off, below are a couple renders I found online ages ago that show just how incredible the software is, and always serve as a reminder that the extra hour to render a scene is definitely worth the raytracing! I know, however, it's still your early work (And like I said, I'm not much better off either!) but keep it in mind that you can never afford to sit around on your laurels with utilities this powerful, so even if they don't always turn out, keep pushing yourself bud!

Very nice indeed. Some of them almost look real.

 

some of those are so awesome! I tried to tweak my render settings, but they came nowhere close to the realism of those pics. I'll keep at it. It's fun.
