    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

    The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    The title says it all.

    Things are going to be pretty slow from the Ol' Ump for a while, since I lost several complete databases with all of the pics that I had in some categories.

    Not that anyone is interested, but I never start a thread unless I have at least 100 pics saved that I can post and then I collect more as I go along. Now, for about 45 of my 70+ threads, I have none.

    So I am starting somewhat from scratch.

    I also will apologize ahead of time: While I do not like to see a lot of reposts in my threads, my memory is simply not good enough to remember all of the 300,000 images I have already posted and differentiate every one from the 19,000 that I had left and lost, so I may think a pic had been in my data base and not already posted and confuse it with one uploaded five years ago.

      That's what our British cousins would call "a ruddy god-help-us". Don't worry about timing, duplicates, or anything of that sort. Damage control for the present; then repair and reconstruction. Hope everything goes smoothly in the wake of this upset.

    Thanks. It will take time.....and not everything is lost. As far as LPs go, I can still take pics of my own and look on line for other oddities.

    That surely sucks.

    I keep a backup on a removable hard drive, and I used to have another set on a spindle of DVD's that I had stashed somewhere at work ( most music, not porn). Nowadays I keep my second backup in the cloud - services as Stack and OneDrive. Zip the porn pictures first, password protected.
