I was picked on in early adolescence, so I worked out with weights and took karate lessons. By the time I was skilled enough to be effective, fighting was considered to be low class and childish.

 

well, i live on a rough neighbourhood, but in madrid, guys who like to go to discos, with the repetitive electronic music are very untolerant with the others, and i went to a private school, which i hated, because it was christian and they were pretty untolerant to atheist so i have had this fights more or less

1.-near a disco with 3 small guys, i got hurt in my face a little bit and in the leg, but i was very angry that day with world(because my girlfriend left me for a friend) so i broke the arm of one, and sent another to sleep with the wall, the third just got 3 punches

2, 2 guys were molesting a little romanian girl near my house and i said them to stop, the girl run away to call her brother, the 2 guys were like bigger than me and they hit me in the stomach until i bleeded from the mouth

3, i had like 5 or 6 fights in the school per year, most of them with a little guy, he stopped when i got really angry and strangulated him a little bit

4, i had a fight with a nazi, who was a little coward

5 i have a fight in germany because i nailed a girl and she had a boyfriend(fact that was unknown to me), but her boyfriend was kinda slow and he kO'd with a single hit

i have some little ones, but those are some that were like big to me

 

I have around 25 amateur fights between kickboxing and mixed martial arts and probably 40 or 50 more that were just smoker events. I have a ton of sparring time on top of that in the gym.

In real life i've only been in 3, I don't believe physical violence solves anything and will do anything to not fight.

1. I was drunk getting ready to go home from a bar when I was 15 (yes, they didn't card me, gotta love small towns) and my ex gfs new boyfriend and some of his dbag buddies beat the shit out of me in the parking lot, thankfully a couple guys saw it and ran them off, I was pretty messed up.

2. I found her bf in a convencience store a the next night and cold cocked him as hard as i could from the side and kicked him in the face 5 or 6 times before I left. Sounds like a chicken shit thing to do but it didn't even compare to what they did to me, I looked like someone beat me with a baseball bat from the night before

3. A different ex gfs b/f started shit with me at a party and tried to attack me. I said almost nothing to him and tried to diffuse the situation. He came forward throwing hooks like a moron, I backpeddled about 10 feet, planted in the pocket and clobbered him with an overhand right. I found out that night that it's very easy to break your hand if they aren't wrapped. By fighting standards I hit like a girl but it doesn't take much for someone who has never been hit, they almost always fold from any half assed shot on the chin.

I really hate fighting, it solves nothing. A lot of guys say they want to fight and try to start shit with dudes at the bar. If you really wanted to fight go join a gym and fight in a safe controlled environment to minimize injury and brain damage.

I was jumped by about 6 guys, who tried to mug me (which didn't work) and hit me with a PLASTIC trashcan. WTF? Weaksauce "gangsters" in my hood. Needless to say, I held my own for a skinny white guy

 

When I was 10 or 11 I got in a fight with the neighbor boy who was picking on my brother. He hit like a girl, I socked him in the nose, and he ran home crying to his mother. Other then that I just fight with words, peoples mothers don't get as mad, and they are more permanently damaging.

 

Another interesting point about "street fighting" was the pace. I remember as this guy was coming foward at me all I kept thinking was "holy shit, this is like slow motion, am I in the matrix or some shit?"

It was amazing how it felt to fight someone who didn't know how to fight after so much time training with guys that do know how to fight. Even though he was somewhat bigger and charging foward throwing bombs I didn't even feel in danger at all. I knew I could do whatever I wanted to do whenever.

The times i've fought above my weightclass in competition (either short notice tourneys or just being fat and not wanting to go through hell cutting weight) my thinking was "holy shit, I have to get a knee tap and get this guy down in round 1 or he's going to mangle my face for 25 minutes"

 

Physical fights, 1. I lost. Verbal fights, I lost count.

 

I have not been in a real fist fight for years and years and years. I restrict myself now to wrestling..............................with girls

 

Does fighting yourself count?

= 5,000 plus fights. Lost two of those fights-26 stitches in one and ten in the other.

 

Let's see... there was the countless fist fights I got into with my older brother growing up, some of which were way more intense than fights I've gotten into with other people.

I got into a few fights in middle school with punches thrown, but the only one I'd count as serious would be one where me and another guy ended up punching each other in the middle of the street and were almost run over by the woodshop teacher.

In high school I got into a couple fights in 9th grade, one a vicious bout between me and a former best friend which was declared "best fight of the year" by some onlookers. The other was with another former friend where he didn't really fight back which kind of made me feel like an asshole afterwards.

10th grade me and yet another old friend got into a fight, something where a year's worth of animosity and mutual frustration boiled over. Also in the summer before 10th grade I beat up a kid who was a complete stranger who had picked a fight with me as I rode my bike past his house.

11th grade, this kid who had been giving me a hard time in English got me fired up to the point where I finally picked a fight with him. But he backed down and never bothered me again.

12th grade was a funny fight, the only altercation I got into that year. This little short kid who was about half my size was always messing with me in my study hall. I would have fought him way beforehand but he was so little I didn't want to look like a bully, but finally one day he was fucking with my chair in the library and I just stood up and knocked him across the room. I stood for a moment waiting for the librarian or somebody to haul me down to the office but by some freak of circumstance nobody noticed. He didn't pester me anymore after that.

In the few years after high school I didn't have any altercations but I used to box a little bit and was always wrestling around with friends. None of it was out of anger, just wasting energy.

The last spat I had with somebody was up at the bar a few years ago, I was walking this girl out to her car and her recently-ex boyfriend was out there waiting and of course assumed I was banging her and everything. I attempted to not fight him, but he was insistent and ended up trying to bite my finger off.

That's about it. Listing all this off, it may look like I was a bit of a hothead but I don't think it was really that way. As a kid I was very laid back and quiet, and had a thick skin and high tolerance for assholes, so I guess I attracted bully types and had friends that thought they could always be a jerk around me and have me not do anything about it. And this usually worked for people for quite a while, until they caught me on a bad day and it would come to a scuffle.

Bad Boy: you stories sound similar to some of mine esp `old friends' a couple of times it was just pride that was hurt and maybe a cut lip, one enemy gained some respect for me after about a year or so of torment by him; I wacked his hand with a heavy ruler in shop class. I knew he would get back to me eventually, so I just waited for him got a punch in gut-didn't hurt- and we became good associates after that.
Another I met working at IBM in 1983 (3 years after h.s graduation) and this guy 20 lb lighter than me (looking to make a name for himself) in h.s. provoked me a number of times, then turned into a `good joe' on the job, go figure.
Its the provactive kids that get me these days. Mouthy yutes should stick to fighting their own generation if they know what's good for them!
An incident at my apt about 2 years ago had me get my sword and axe ready, this is largely over(cops told him to not provoke me, and vice versa)Saw the goof today too!
