Carl did win that race at Texas, but Jimmy Johnson dominated yesterday at Phoenix...One more race to go and it looks like Johnson will have three titles in a row...It's his championship to lose...

I sure hate to see the season end, however, it's only a little over three months to Daytona!!!

 

Good morning, it's championship week-end...I sure hate to see the season end, but it's only 90 days until Daytona!!!:excited:

Johnny Benson won the truck championship last night, he beat out my favorite truck driver Ron Hornaday by just seven points...If you don't watch the trucks race then you're missing out on some good racing...

The Nationwide race should be good today, Carl Edwards is only 56 points away from first place leader Clint Bowyer...

It is looking like Jimmy Johnson is going to win the Sprint Cup tomorrow, but you never know...If something happens to him early in the race then Carl Edwards could beat him...I'm excited to see what happens...Let's go racing!!!

 

I love NASCAR. Don't bug me when the race is on. There's a reason I moved back to Daytona. LOL

i race ever weekend rc cars for points.
i look at what has to happen to day and say to things can happen,but first jimmy fucked up starting 31 st today and let carl start 4th.

jimmy next mistake he starting 31 and he knows what gone happen i would pop the motor and put a new one just for saft it not like he losing any thing out doing this.

his next mistake he alredy think he won, wrong he can be beat today.

how this nascar he stuck in traffic and he might not be able to get to the front. so what dose he do gamble with to tires and he has a flat and he done a lap down

so who do i call the winner it to close to call to many things can happen

It was a good race!!! Congratulations to Jimmy Johnson and Chad Knaus...They've won 3 championships in a row...He's only the second driver to do that, and Knaus is the first crew chief...Only 90 days until Daytona, not that I'm counting or anything...

Yesterday all the guys and kids were gone so I decided to see what this Nascar stuff is all about, so I watched the race.....the whole thing.....

I guess I need to take classes because I really didn't get it.....but I did try it RP.....

most successful Cup team in NASCAR, with a history going back 60 years.

Founded by the late Lee Petty the team has won 10 NASCAR Cup titles and
268 race victories, and seven-time Cup champion Richard Petty is
probably the most famous face the sport has ever had. The team has not
won a championship since 1979 but the closure of the operation will be a
huge symbolic blow for the sport

 

Richard Petty is an example of how you can not insure the future by relying on the past. His father turned the reigns over to him while he was still viable as a team owner, Richard never relinquished the role to his son Kyle, he stayed in the drivers seat long after he was outclassed in every way.

He was one of the greatest drivers in the game, but one of the worse owners ever. His once proud history on he track was diminished greatly by his hanging on as an also ran.

Petty Enterprises was dead fifteen years ago, no one had the guts to bury it. People milked the "Petty Cow" until it dropped.

NASCAR has much larger problems than the folding of Petty.
