  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

So, anyone else bored by the All-Star race? I think that was the fastest I've ever since that event finished. With only 22 cars in the open it made for a nice quick event. And then everyone behaved so well in the Main that it was a bit boring.

The objective of an all-star race is to showcase the talent and they are professional enough to concentrate on the technical aspects of a race ie: pit stops, lap times and outright racing. As such they tend to not do a lot of "bumping" and "rubbing" in a race out of respect for fellow drivers. These races can be as interesting as any IROC race. :Zz

I was just going to post how much I enjoyed it... I thought it was a good race...

Jimmie Johnson is now a million dollars richer... It looks like ol' five-time is on a roll... He's my pick for the 600, however, there were a lot of fast cars out there last night...

I couldn't get the race last night, since the TV I use doesn't have the Speed network. I followed it on line with a friend. I have to say, I didn't expect Jr to lose.

A New Race Car Combines the Best Ideas with the Latest Technology

Exactly how many people does it take to design a new car for NASCAR racing? As far as Ford’s new Taurus is concerned, the answer is many.

And they all need to be on the same page.

When the 2004 Taurus made its debut at Daytona, it represented Ford’s most synergistic effort in race car design to date. This synergy comes from all corners of the Ford empire and includes solid representation from not only the NASCAR ranks but also the real world production side. The prior version of Taurus, originally presented to the public in the 1998 Daytona 500, has provided excellent results. But its humble beginnings came after public, and, at times, cantankerous battles between various team entities that wanted to leave their mark on that specific iteration.

It's almost time to go racing in Indy and at Charlotte... :excited: It's raining in my world, so I'm going to watch the Indy 500(go Briscoe) and the Coca-Cola 600... Can't think of a better way to spend a rainy day... Jimmie Johnson is going to win tonight-he's on a roll...

I did watch Webber from Red Bull Racing win the Grand Prix of Monaco... I just saw the very end of that race...

This race should be interesting if Jr brings the same car he had at the All Star race. It was the competition yellow that beat Jr not Jimmie.

Kasey Kahne won the Coca-Cola 600... That race is 100 miles too long, at least for me... I love watching the cars race under the lights-there's nothing like it...

The length of the Coca-Cola 600 is just fine to me. I'm more glad that there is only ONE 600 mile race though. And it is/was good news when they shortened Dover and now Pocono, some definitely do not need to be 500 miles. But for me, one 600 miler a year is acceptable, especially when it ends as fast as last nights did. Fastest 600 ever.
