Hello my fellow community of the depraved ,"Hope this describes most of us!", I figured I could share, and dare I hope, inspire. My story began last December when chest pains sent me to the E.R afraid that I was suffering a heart attack. I assure you I was not but that night being what it was, I surrendered myself to the darkest of my fears. My wife and I had recently taken on our six year old grandson and I kept wondering aloud what he, or my wife would do with out me, she and I both worked before the events that Covid unleashed upon this world, and when the schools began virtual learning I stayed home to help him with this very unfamiliar step in life. Would I be around for them both, worry gnawed away at me till I finally got the call, I had gallstones, and they opted for surgery.
So here is the part that will throw most of you, at my physical I weighed a whopping two hundred and eighty-one point two pounds, I only stand five-six so it's not a great look, that was in late July. I had recently seen a you tube video about Whole Body Vibration and the effects on muscle mass and bone density, I figured with all the inactivity as of late it couldn't hurt to try. The one I bought was a five hundred dollar model, they have them cheaper and even more expensive so after diet and W.B.V, I weighed in on August 27th at two hundred and forty- nine point six, had my gallbladder out, and I am feeling much better.

So I was curious as to whether any members on here use Whole Body Vibration, or used it, any opinions, I love mine so far, well thanks for letting me ramble!

Weight loss is really simple.
It requires no weird diets.
No fancy, expensive machines.
No cutting edge fashion statement exercise clothing.
No expensive exercise club memberships.

The formula for weight loss is really simple;
Eat less.
Move more.

Really. That's it.

Shooters doctor pointed out that if one's weight is stable, cutting 100 calories a day (that's one slice of bread) from the diet and doing nothing else will result in weight loss of 1-2 Lbs. a week.

 

In the early 50s After high school I had a job at a health place, they rented a vibrating stand to overweight people.
You stood on a platform and this 4 inch wide belt went around your behind and when you turned on the machine it vibrated your butt and most of you, supposedly to melt the fat away. Maybe people burned calories getting on and off the platform

The only vibrating things I own are much smaller.

 

My boss has one of these in the office. It works pretty well at making any exercise you do work the muscles harder as you balance against the vibration. Doing squats on it while it's on the high setting got me all out of breath after a minute.

So thought I would update, been a rough month, pulled a muscle in the shoulder region, but weight is around 236lbs as of today, muscles are starting to show a little definition and I am moving so much better now," My seven year old grandson has to run to keep up to me now! It's funny how that helps while at the same time, tools that vibrate can cause vascular health issues for workers who use them. They even warn against it in the safety precautions.

 

It's really a damn simple thing to lose weight. It's 75% diet, and 25% exercise. Balance it out to those numbers, and the weight just melts off.

Those shake your body machines don't do shit but scramble your brain.

I mean, why hell, look at @Rixer if ya want proof. <nudge nudge>

 

I'm fat, and its Xnxx's fault, actually I blame several member here for keeping me sitting on my computer all day...how many calories do I burn two finger typing
