Why does getting rejected hurt so much? It feels like the devil himself came and ripped my fucking heart out! It sucks ass!

 

You are just 18 years old. Being rejected comes with the territory. You probably came on too strong with the girl. Girls want to be wooed before they get screwed. That means wine them and dine them. Tell them how beautiful they are.

You want to know why it hurts so much. "MALE EGO" and you are not man enough yet to control it. She stepped on it and that to so called macho males is a slap in the face.

Grow up son. Get in touch with your feminine side too. Remember it takes a real man to wear a dress. When you can do that then making out with the women will be a lot easier.

It's part of life. You learn to deal with it. You'll probably do your fair share of rejecting also.

 

I simply must point out that it's (to me anyway) incredibly funny that the guy asked why getting rejected hurts so much, and the first post afterwords basically told him to buck up, be a man, and put on a dress.

Just move on... I know it hurts, but you'll find another girl... Unfortunatly, she will probably dump you or cheat on you too and then you'll have to find another girl... It's really an endless cycle. But don't worry, you'll meet a lot of good people this way...

As bad as rejection is, the FEAR of rejection is much worse, much more debilitating. Don't let that happen. Ask yourself, what have you really lost? You started with nothing, you still have nothing. Except that you learned a little bit, and learning is always good. Move on...and don't try so hard.

P.S. When you're young, these things hurt more. But I think you're too young to find the love of your life anyway. Give yourself some time to know yourself better.

Ya know ... it hurts becuase you fall in love with an idea a thought a feeling. Truth is if she/he is rejecting you, its because they do not share the same ideas, thoughts or feelings. This is not a bad thing ... just life it's gonna happen. Think back, did your parents ever tell you no on something that you really wanted ... it's the same rejection, how did you deal with that? Remeber the achiness will pass.

If your mate / potential mate rejected you there was a reason for it ... underlying reason for you to remember is that she/he is not the right fit for you, relationships can't be forced.
