Do women still wear slips? And why not? As a kid growing up with 4 or 5 aunts, either at our house or us at their house, I used to see them walking around in slips sometimes. Never just underwear, but shiny silk looking pinkish colored slips. But it's been years since I've seen one. When I was in HS and had a summer job at a coffee shop, a young lady my HS age, spilled something on her waitress uniform and was walking around in the stock room in her slip. A real thrill for a H.S. kid in 1950.

 

I can't remember the last time I wore a slip. I think they went out of style around the same time as pantyhose.
I don't even own one anymore, so I better not buy any dresses with sheer skirts! lol

 

I wore a half slip recently because some skirts cling to stockings. If it weren't for crossdressers no one would buy pantyhose! I know Walmart still sells slips but probably not a big seller now days.

 

Only if I am wearing a long dress that is sheer.

I have several slips. I only wear them at home. I never bought them for anything other than as "play wear". They look and feel great. Good for using to wank in/on.

 

There isn't the need for them

 

I can't remember any woman I've been with wearing a slip. Not even with a fancy dress for a dance or a wedding.
