Exhausting all day at work after returning from vacation

 

It's been a fine Tuesday. I mostly wrote - one blog finished for tomorrow and one started for Monday. I fielded a call our daytime dispatcher got from a solicitor and told him how to identify these calls in the future - having been on both sides of these calls, I am about the worst 'gatekeeper' any telemarketer would hate to run into.

Other than that, I put in a ticket for a client, did some follow up on proposals we have out, and still managed to fuck off a whole lot (I'm thinking 59%).

A no complaints Tuesday...

 

It was a long 10 hr day with same tasks as normal.

Had to engage our facilities rep about an employee who made mess (nasty) in men’s bathroom. Got a call right at 6 pm that caused me to leave late. This is considering me taking 99.9 percent calls for one thing and the .1 percent comes right at end of shift. On top of that I have two colleagues that were around. What’s new!

Walked cherrypup around block and threw tennis ball.

Just got done calling FedEx about tv stand I bought recently at Walmart to have it redirected.

I was outta my normal boxers and threw on a shorter leg pair. Shorts and went to work. This was a mistake! Damn boxer legs rode up and my thighs chafed something fierce

 

Going back to work after a long weekend is hard. I had lots of grumpy clients but little did they know that I was also grumpy and not putting up with their shit. Then I tried to bake some lemon ricotta cookies but didn’t realize I had to refrigerate the dough overnight. Now I have a bit of time before I go to bed.

 

Stressful. Celia is all that I care about right now and it is hell not being able to share our news. The pond is taking longer to fill than I planned for but we are still working on it even in the 100+ heat. Mamma is slowly getting bigger but she has to gain weight just for safety for the baby, plus her belly is getting bigger and she never looked more beautiful.

 

It ended up turning out okay. I woke up a little early and had a runny nose - to the point that I could not get back to sleep. After my shower, I knew what it was - my lifelong nemesis - a sinus infection. It's like a hatchet buried in your forehead. Still, I worked - wrote, fielded a client call and not much else.

Fortunately, by the time I had lunch, the hatchet was gone and my nose mostly dried up. It's okay - I get these maybe 3, 4 times a year. I was afraid for a minute that drinking after work might not be a good idea (lol... as if!), but it's been a fine idea.

It is what it is.

 

Not bad... still have covid but got them meds for it. Scored a new job that came with a $32k increase in pay and found out bad dragon is still around.

 

It was a normal day with same tasks like usual. Got a call again right at the ennd of shift and left 10 min late. Had a company meeting in conference room. Found an ex coworker quit

Headed to Walmart after work to pick up tv stand that arrived. It was a pain to get into house. Chatted with mother a bit within last few house.

Walked cherrypup around block and threw tennis ball. Plus clipped her toes nail as she scratched me pretty bad this past weekend.

Nothing at all

 

My anxiety level was at Defcon 4 today. But work was ok and now I’m home in my jammies waiting for food and petting my kitty.

 

It was a normal day overall. Phone calls were steady but was on a few long ones.

Today's been good! Last day of work tomorrow before vacay

 

It sucked balls. And not in the good way one might suck balls.

 

It's been a good day - no more sinus infection (kind of a miracle, because they usually last 3 - 4 days). Did all my usual stuff - kept ahead in my blogs, had a little customer and office interaction- nothing out of the ordinary. Fucked off about 71%.

That's a fine Thursday right there...

 

Today is a good day. Saw a good movie, relaxed, watched a spectacular sunset and currently I’m listening to the frogs sing while enjoying a cold beer. I’m a happy camper

Our company keeps threatening that with the current Bad economy here in the States that they are going to have to Let people go, so everyday I don't get a Pink slip is a Good day I guess!

 

Woke up early to feed the birds and start the water pump, worked in the garden and took veggies to a close by shelter, we went wheeling at a neighbors place that has trails through the woods her in her jeep and me in the raptor, my friend was in his Bronco but it was a good day.
