Ok,
basically its been 2 years since I have had a real girlfriend or sex. I have had a few little flings here and there and messed around with I think two girls but nothing worth talking about.

I really, really want a relationship and feel like I'm ready for a commitment. I'm just a few weeks shy of 19, just finished high school, got a new job and a brand new car (all in one week too!! ) But the one thing I really want to be happy is just a woman to be excited to see me and happy with me.

I'm not the best looking of guys, nor the worst. I have alot of confidence around most people. I'm really outspoken, excitable and fun to be around, unless I am uncomfortable or nervous. I've noticed lately I have been getting nervous around girls that I could possibly date but warm up after being around them for a little while.

I also recently got out of the whole "party" scene that so many of my friends are involved in. I really don't want that shit around me anymore because I plan on working in the Police Dept.

What should I do? I just really want a woman to hold and I can't seem to find it

But she will come just have a little patience. It's been over a year since I last had a decent girlfriend and I want a relationship now too but don't rush things. You will meet her one day. But for now enjoy the single life with your friends.

Yeah i know sometimes it's hard being all alone. I know the feeling but those moments pass when you meet new friends are new girls. So don't give up you're doing nothing wrong.

YEP just relax and dont go out there looking for THE ONE cause often people get scared off by that. Mostly what you want is a relationship that develops into that, if you date every girl with the thought of her being your future then it can be too intense. You need to just enjoy each date as it goes and the relationships will tell whether they are right or not. I have spent years chasing dragons (so to speak) and finally met the Knight but because of my haste in the past (married twice already) my family show resistance - understandably. BUT we are OK and that is what matters. So dont rush into anything take your time and dont settle for second best that perfect person is out there I PROMISE!!

Forget about the relationship, concentrate on your future and financial independence first, you are still too young to worry about that shit. Have fun and enjoy life with friends and fuck buddies, once you have achived your goals for your future than look for a relationship.

 

I'm almost completely financially independent, the only thing i don't pay for is my own place which is the biggest lol, the future I'm still not sure on but I know no matter what I'll be successful but I see what your saying.

As someone who went through a similar period at your age, follow these peoples' advice: relax. You'll find someone. The last thing you want to do is get so anxious that you scare girls off...and trust me, they can tell. Take it easy, and let things take their course.

 

if you're too eager, you'll end up with the wrong girl, pushing things instead of taking of it slow. like everyone else said, you're so young. you might feel old, everyone feels mature and old at whatever age they are. but when you're in 20's, you'll look back and realize that you should've taken things less seriously, mostly relationships. save the serious ones for your 20's, that way you give yourself plenty of time to meet the right one. keep dating though, you learn from each breakup, and don't repeat mistakes.

What the fuck man, you got the rest of your life ahead of you, get out there and explore your dreams and fantasys, see the world, fuck and chuck loads of pussy, take drugs, explore your inner dreams and ambitions, the world is ahead of you and your thinking about commitment LOL
There is sooo much in front of you and your only 19.

Listen man, if you eventually commit yourself at the age your at now, your life will just dissapear before your eyes. Time flys seriously when you age.
And even if it is not a lifelong relationship you will just wave months or years of your life away.

My advice is to concentrate on yourself, invest time into yourself.
Invest time into your career, personallity, hobbies, health , looks, wealth or anything that will better you as a human being
You will reap the benefits later in life, especcially when it comes down to chicks.

Do not invest time into a chick at the ripe age of 19, you will wave goodbye to all your interests and dreams.
