id disagree and say any sex act.

Well, I guess by "definition" it's not incest..

From my point of view, I think that any gratification between members of a family could be considered as incest.


Incest in families is very common. In fact no family is immune to it. Every family within 3 generations has had at lease one relationship involving two family members.


In most cases it is between siblings experimenting. Many times it is just a one time thing. Others may last a lifetime.


In some societies it is OK for a father to teach a daughter how to please a man as it is the mother's duty to teach the son. In some primitive cultures it is the rite-of-passage for the father to seduce the daughter in a group ceremony. In fact young girls are not allowed to marry with out this ceremony.

I like urban dictionary's wide range of definitions ... here's No. 1 for incest:

1. Incest 1168 up, 85 down
Having sex with members of ones own family.
Incest, the game the whole family can play.

Notice it doesn't say sexual intercourse. I think this definition wins by consensus.

By a standard dictionary definition of incest what you are doing is not incest. My unsolicited advice is that you do not make it incest, that you practice discretion, and that you do not do this with your daughters. Even when they are adults do not take the initiative.

What cultures are you talking about? I have read a certain amount about anthropology. I have never read about this. In every culture I have read about virgin brides are preferred, if not expected.

 

Correction: once I read that African pigmy men prefer to marry women who have already had a child.

Where is the line in the sand?

Back about '80 (yep, a bit of an old fart here) I was reading in Penthouse Forum a letter from a guy who, as a teenager, would sit and watch TV with his divorced mom. He said that they had a relaxed relationship and would watch the tube with him in his tighty-whities and her in bra and panties.

One Saturday evening while watching the tube and munching on popcorn she tossed a kernel at him and he then tossed one back. They did this a couple more times when he tossed one and it went down her bra. Mom looked at him and said, "well, you threw it. Go get it!" He stuck is hand down her bra getting one hell of a feel and got the kernel.

He said she sat there and grinned the whole time!

Now as the discussion is going to what kind of act constitutes incest, would y'all think that this was an incestuous act?

 

From today's very politically conservative poit of view it would. However, in this case we have 2 consenting VERY adults. I think its ok. and heck!!! Its only mutual masturbation.
