I know the women feel safe because there is no real sexual tension.......but what about the gay guy's point of view?

Does he feel safe?

I have a friend whos gay. He is funny and smart and I do feel safe when Im around him. My husband doesnt care for him too much but feels safe himself when my friend is with me so I dont get harrassed by the straight pussy hungry males.

That may well be true.......but from what I've seen.....with regards gay male couples......one plays the receptor......as in the feminine substitute.....and is treated like a bitch by his partner....even IF there is so called love involved.

In my experience, you can't tell from feminine behavior whether someone is more active or passive. Not at all.

Gays are human beings, Some are soft and gentle; others tough as nails. You keep comparing them to women; since when are all women softies; Margaret Thatcher, Golda Meier, and Hillary Clinton don't come off as softies. Yes, there is a tender nurturing side to mst women, and I believe also to most gays.
I personally am bi. Both various profiling tools and my own history shows me as more hetero than homo sexual, but I have enough of the gay side to understand. I have doineered and I have been the submissive partner in both gay and straight relationships. Much of the macho gay's attitude is playacting to help his submissive partner get what he wants out of the relationship/act.

That only makes sense if they couldn't get what you say they're trying to find a substitute for. I don't see that. There's plenty of "fish in the ocean" as the saying goes. Why is it so impossible that one's same-sex partner might provide something that they couldn't find in any potential opposite-sex partner (or any other potential same-sex partner for that matter), which is what you seem to be suggesting with crap like "so-called love".
