    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    I used to think of time as a handy human invention. Sort of a shelf to put things on. I still don't think of it as linear, starting at one point and progressing in a straight line to the next point and so on. I think of time as three sphere's a past present and future and I do believe those sphere's touch and can be crossed over back and fourth. Even Stephen Hawkins has said that theoretically at least time travel is possible.

    It is interesting but last night I watched a program on the science channel that demonstrated we all have a clock right in our brain. They did an experiment that showed time actually does slow down in our brains when we are under the influence of adrenaline or drugs. The experiment showed a guy that was wearing an arm band with numbers blinking so quickly he could not see them. But when he was dropped from a high tower simulating falling he could read the numbers.

    I do agree however that of all the things we have what we call time is the most precious. No matter what else we have we have an unknown quantity of time. Like the song says, "not another minute will all your money buy."

    I probably have a different definition of wasting time however. As long as I'm not bored or waiting on something I don't feel my time is ever wasted because I can always be thinking.

    Time is a measurement relative to perception and placement within a dimensional altitude. It is theorized that time moves quicker once we die, and the only reason it is so slow while we live is mainly due to how time is kept track of on this plain of existence. Though other factors are believed to be at work in conjunction with time to fool us into thinking time actually has meaning.

    Though many have a preconceived notion that time passes in a linear sense, I believe it's more wiggly, like a snake. Human perception is that time passes quickly when we're having fun, but drags forever during a miserable work day. Maybe it isn't just a perception. Maybe time passes at a different rate simply because of how we perceive it. Time is probably very closely linked to all forms of energy like gravity, magnetism, light, electricity, heat, matter and/or antimatter and a brain busily thinking.

    All the above Burbot Bullshit skips around the fact that every one of us has a time machine, and probably many time machines, within easy reach. Any computer, book, or story, or collection of words can take you anywhere in time the author wants to take you.

    In relativity time is the fourth dimension in our universe. 3-D+time. It is inherently woven into the fabric of the universe and came into existence at what is called Plank's Time at 10 to the minus 47 seconds. That's a one with 47 zeros in front before the decimal point. Before Planks Time there was no time (Or space or matter for that matter.) and from a scientific standpoint questioning what happened before the big bang is meaningless. There was no time before time began.

    Mathematically the arrow of time can run just as well backward as forward and in quantum mechanics there has been some discussion that anti-matter particles move backward in time relative to us but I've not heard anything about that in a long time.

    Or: Time is a river and you can never step in the same river twice.

    Or: Time is what you kill here when you don't have a real life.

    OK: Time to stop.
