    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

    The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Yep, one movie... and as totally expected, just about everyone ignored that stipulation! :D

    Now I gotta say Lolly, I was with you nodding in agreement right up until you said "West Side Story - best musical ever". No, gotta disagree there. I'm thinking "Little Shop of Horrors", or how about "The Rocky Horror show"? Or if you want more classic musicals, how about Fiddler on the Roof? Worth it, just for Topol alone! :)

    But WSS? Only movie I've ever watched that put me to sleep before the end. I think I lost the will to live after the first hour... and as Binky will vouch for, I have an extremely high tolerance for "so bad they're good" movies. :D

    But hey, if you loved the movie, that's great! (I just know all the chocolate drops in the world couldn't get me to watch it twice. :D)

    i know how you feel. I've tried to watch more than once and either fell asleep or did something slightly less boring as long as it involved me not being there to watch that movie.

    Fluffster... how could you forget that West Side Story starred the stunningly gorgeous Natalie Wood. If for no other reason, it's worth sticking with the movie just to see her :D

    In addition, the song produced some classic (now considered MOR 'standards') songs: 'Maria', 'America' and so on...

    I'll concede the point that, like every movie genre, there are greats of what we might call 'classic' musicals i.e. the Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers and, as you mentioned, Fiddler on the Roof. To be fair you would have to break down the category into 'Classics, Modern Classics, Comedy Clssics' and so on. For instance, is 'Grease' a great musical, any better of worse that 'Rocky Horror'...? Is 'Mama Mia' destined to become a 'classic'? It's all open to debate, I guess, like every other choice in every other genre.

    Incidentally, two other great musicals I love are 'The Student Prince' which starred the great Mario Lanza and, at the other end of the scale, 'The Glen Miller Story' with James Stewart as Miller!

    As the 'Godfather' movies seem to have divided opinion here, for my money, I'm with those who couldn't get into them. I bought the boxed set and watched about the first hour of the first movie before feeling myself losing the will to live, so if anyone's interested in making me an offer for the set... :D
