  3. Hello,

    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

    The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    Do you use condoms? Condom manufacturers recomment urinating after intercourse as a way to reduce risk for yeast infections. I can not comment on any science behind that. My girlfriend got a yeast infection and her doctor asked if she urinates immediately after intercourse. Also, we have had sex while she had a yeast infection and she was very dry, we didn't realize she had an infection until she talked with her doctor about why she was dry and itchy.

    Follow what canusmanes says, and go ahead and have him apply some antifungal cream ( the same stuff you'll be using) on his penis. I have had this somewhat unfortunate experience before, and hey....I know how Mr Pimp feels, so if y'all cannot resist the urge of gettin' it on; a shower immediately afterwards and a topical application of the lotrimin should knock out anything on him pretty quickly. Also, although not the sexiest thing in your lingerie arsenal....cotton-paneled panties for everday wear are essential in the war against having the Pillsbury Doughboy show up down there.

    I used to be a gynecologist.....but now it's just a hobby. Seriously though, I'm no medical expert, but this is something I have gone through.Get well soon!

    I went through a block of time last year with constant off and on yeast infections...totally embarassing... but it turned out to be my birth control actually...so that might factor in as well for the reason why you're getting one, especially if you've been on the same bc for over a year.

    Here I did some research for some people that dont know what may cause a Yeast infection

    * stress

    * lack of sleep

    * sickness

    * poor diet, or extreme intake of sugary foods

    * pregnancy

    * having your period

    * taking birth control pills

    * taking antibiotics

    * taking steroid medicines

    * diseases such as poorly-controlled diabetes and HIV infection

    * clothing: crotch yeasties flourish in non-cotton, tight, or dirty clothes that trap heat and moisture.

    * chemicals, such as inks, dyes, and perfumes, can upset the balance in your crotch or trigger allergic reactions that lead to yeast infections.

    * condoms can promote yeast infections in two different ways. first, a lot of condoms come packaged with a lubricant that contains nonoxynol-9, a spermicide that may kill the HIV virus.

    * injury to the vulvar or vaginal membranes can lead to a yeast infection.

    I hope this helps some. Please let me know if there is anything that i can do for you

    How can I avoid getting another yeast infection?

    To help prevent vaginal yeast infections, try the following:

    * Don't use douches.

    * Avoid scented hygiene products like bubble bath, sprays, pads and tampons.

    * Change tampons and pads often during your period.

    * Don't wear tight underwear or clothes made of synthetic fibers.

    * Wear cotton underwear and pantyhose with a cotton crotch.

    * Change out of wet swimsuits and exercise clothes as soon as possible.

    If you have repeat yeast infections, talk to your doctor.

    Ever heard of using Yogurt "in there?" Supposed to be especially effective after the anti-biotic induced variety.

    Home Remedies for Yeast Infections

    While most women rush out to pick up the quick-fix medications, the fact is the home remedies have a longer lasting effect, with no side effects. In fact, apart from curing, these remedies can be used daily to ensure that the infections do not occur.

    Here are listed a couple of the home remedies for yeast infection:

    · Regularly daubing apple cider vinegar in the areas prone to this infection. Your can add some garlic to stop the itchy feeling; and water to dilute the vinegar concentration

    · Curds or yogurt is regarded as one of the best home remedies. In fact, it is advisable to soak a tampon into curds and place it in the infected region for at least an hour. Basically, the healthy required bacteria from the curds will replace the unhealthy yeast bacteria. This could be repeated twice to thrice a day.

    · Drink at least two glasses of buttermilk a-day, whether infected or not. In fact making curds a part of the daily diet in take reduces the probability of yeast infection.

    · Mixture of olive leaf extract with grapefruit seed extraction a glass of water is a good curative tonic for this infection.

    Here is a good site to go to that will help u

    another DONT DO to avoid getting yeast infections...dont always wash your vagina with soap or anything. my wife uses just water every time she showers.. it cleans , gets rid of funky all day smell and she is 27 and never had one.

    Do NOT have sex with a yeast infection or even a sore throat. My wife gave me head one night..to realize the next day she had gotten strep throat....mmm ya , NOT FUN. althought it never hurt , i oozed alittle stuff all day long for 3 days. maybe stung a tiny bit when my pee first came out , but not during. and no it wasnt some other STD..i've been with her and only her for 10yrs...and she went to doc next day , to find out what she had. :D
