Well, It would have a horrible effect.. but the thing is, nobody can be judged stupid, nobody is, people just make dumb decisions, everyone is good at something, they just have to find out what they are good at, what their job in life is supposed to be.

Without the sad gorillas, the rest were too happy and oblivious to notice dangers. In the same way, the stupider among us serve to warn the rest of us.

I dispute your statement, surely the band of gorillas would have ceased to exist due to the interference of the people doing the study, every time they remove a gorilla the rest of the band will show sadness as they are a family collective and not just random gorillas grouped together.
