I agree with Obama that our current national anthem sucks. Before congress deemed that we have an official national anthem in the 1930's that sounds like a British beer drinking song (Oh Say can you see, hic...) the unofficial national anthem was "The Battle Hymn of the Republic", written during the Civil War. That was a much better song. Why Congress dropped the song? Probably because Congress has no taste in music.
