First I quote too much, then I'm not original, then when you challenged on that its back to quoting to much. In the meantime you're busy posting stupid poems most people heard in elementary school. And I'm the loser? I don't think so.

And by the way I think I've mentioned this before but I've been on my own and earning my own living since I was 16 years old and that includes today where I sitting out here getting paid overtime to do this. That seems like winning to me.

But I could tell you even a lot more about what it means to be a winner if you wanted to hear about something new to you.

 

Hey, I remember this thread, there are people trying to keep things sivil (not "civil" for the last time people!). Thanks fox for the distraction, a real cutie.
There are some double standards, but maybe the "United Negro College Fund" was formed at a time when it was really needed, to combat disparity of alloted funds and give a good education to black people. Others know more. I don't frust the stance of the ACLU with some things that it has said or supported. But these things are up to you Americans to sort out.

As for here, we as good white people(most of us) are working on things sitll, and try to not let the goverment pit us against each other. There are half-truths and falsehoods to deal with.
We have common concerns, after we realize what they are, we can work together.
I still remember the Indian that said: "There are too many white people in town"...he had just come in from a sparsely populated part of our tundra.
He turned around and said this(by accident) to my face...all I did was smile, in response, before he walked off.
Things are getting better...the official apology to (victims of abuse in our residential schools) with regard to the government's treatment of aboriginals helped.
