Part One: I still love my little sister!

I remember being twenty-seven, in a hospital and worried. I also felt an odd sense of deja vu. It was just like the day my little sister, Kari, was born, only a little different. Last time, I was in the dark about it until she was born and wasn't really aware of where babies came from. This time however, it was my sister who was in the hospital.

And the baby came from me.

I won't regale you with stories of how I reacted to the news she was pregnant because honestly, it was pretty much a blur. Nor will I tell you how our parents took the news because frankly, I'd rather not remember. They were less than thrilled to be grandparents, lets leave it at that.

But I am fully aware of the present. I came inside her one too many times and now we have a child on the way. We didn't ask it's sex because, as Kari said, 'we like surprises'. I don't disagree, of course. Who doesn't enjoy the suspense of not knowing followed by the elation of having the mystery solved right before their eyes?

I think I'll also skip the part about Kari giving birth. Not because it wasn't one of the most profound moments of both our lives, but because I'm sure you don't want to hear it. And I don't blame you. Even for the ones directly responsible, child birth is pretty nasty business. Fluids and screaming and...no, I wasn't going to mention that, was I? Sorry about that.

Let's skip ahead to a little after the birth, when the doctor who delivered told us...

"It's a girl."

Yeah, Kari and I are still together, still happy about it and still very sexual. Or we were until a few months ago. I like incest, not pregnant women. That always made Kari laugh to hear me say that. "If you're gonna be a sicko, why not run with it," she'd ask.

We're not married. She and I are both anti-marriage. Wait, that sounds bad. Neither of us believe that marriage means anything. If you ever have a chance to hear a comic named Doug Stanhope talk about why marriage is pointless, you'll know how we feel about it. If not, basically he says love doesn't need the legal system involved in it. Sometimes, comedians are wonderfully wise. Besides, even if we did want to get married, we couldn't. The law here states that you can't marry any family member more immediate than first cousin, and I'm pretty sure sister qualifies.

 

Part Two: I love my son!

Not like that! Not the same way I love Kari. I love Kari as a sister, but also as a woman. That isn't what I mean by 'I love my son'.

I love my son as a son.

Part Two: I love my daughter!

Not like that! Not in the same way I love Kari, who I love as a sister and as a woman. She's like a girlfriend that calls my parents mom and dad, sort of. Well, not really, but you understand, right? She's more than just a sister to me. Thats not the case with Rose, our daughter. I love Kari like a girlfriend. I love my daughter like a daughter.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to get on my high horse and renounce incest all of a sudden. It'd be pretty hypocritical at this point. What I mean is that when Kari was a kid, I basically was too, so its not a big deal. But I'm an adult and Rose is still just ten years old right now, so I don't see her sexually. Even if I did see her that way when she grew up, if I cheated in Kari, she would take the rolling pin to me!

People around the neighborhood tell me Rose is very energetic, but every time I see her, all she wants to do is hold onto me or sleep on me or sit on my lap or something. Those same people tell me that whenever she sees me, she calms down and becomes kind of relaxed almost instantly. Same with her mother, all it takes is the sight of her, and Rose shifts into hug-needing child mode.

Matthew and Kari Bolinheim, human pacifiers. Thats us.

She isn't a bad kid. 'Energetic' doesn't mean 'destructive' or 'loud'. Rose is a good girl who likes to play for a little longer than the other kids around here. She laughs a lot, runs everywhere and talks to other kids without a second's hesitation. That's energetic.

Oh, here. When I was younger, I swore I would never do this, but you gotta look at these picture of her. It's a perfect example of what I mean.

The first picture, taken from a distance, shows a little girl, maybe three feet tall with a very small, child-like build jumping over a rope being swung by two other children, a boy and a girl. The two holding the rope look tired, their empty hands dangling limply at their sides in exhaustion. However, this girl in the middle, who is facing away so only her pushed-down-by-wind light red hair can be seen of her head, is jumping with her feet going in their own direction. A boy in the background is checking his watch while another is looking up at the yellow and pink sky. Someone, their gender illegible from distance, is sitting on a spring-mounted horse, leaning their head on their hand, looking bored.

The second is close-up, with a much warmer feel to it. It shows a man, Matt, sitting on a couch with his feet up on it (Kari told him to put them down after taking the picture). A little girl, the same from the first picture, is lying on him, her waist resting on his. Her hair is covering her face, but its obvious she's asleep and quite content. A small smile is peeking out from the gaps in her hair.

Matt is not asleep. He has his hand on her small shoulder and is looking down at her with a fatherly smile. A loving smile. Kari is mirroring it, but it isn't visible here since she's holding the camera.

He just means that, even though he fucked his sister repeatedly and will continue to do so, he isn't going to try to do the same with his daughter since she's so much younger than he is.

 

can you please do a story about matt and kari having a girl(rose) and another son. and maybe kinda repeat the same as matt and kari but a little changed up. like in this case she will be older than him. because rose was born first

 

Can't. Rose is already the subject of the story Across the Lake and that she hasn't had sex is very important to the story.

It isn't a prequel to Across the Lake, since this story came first. Lake is a continuation of I Love My Little Sister and this epilogue.
