I pointed this out before and Ill say it again. Women rape men/children as well! Why do so many people think its only men who commit rape? Sure its more common for men to do it, but its not un-common for it to be the other way around. No offense when I say this but why do so many girls conveniently forget that?

There was a case here in the UK just last week of a women being put in jail for rapeing her 13 year old son. Years ago a girl got me hideously drunk and took advantage of me. Ok it wasnt rape as such because she didnt go as far a having sex with me, but unwanted sexual contact that I wouldnt have allowed if i was sober? YES!

Sorry, it really pisses me off that so many people think women are incapable of rape! NEWS FLASH: YOU FUCKING ARE!!!

 

i know that men and women both rape people. most cases though are of men raping women. 50% (1/2) of women today are sexually assulted, abused or raped. only about 10% (1/10) of men are sexually assulted, abused or raped. thus when people speak about these cases they say men need to realize b/c most of the time it is men commiting the crime. you dont see men getting raped on college campuses or women raping their young sons or daughters majority of the time it is men committing these crimes.

 

Yea said in my last post that I realise that most rape cases are guys. Its just that wa the 2nd post recently that seemed to happily point the finger of all blame on men. Wich as I say I think is unfair. Rape i wrong no matter who does it so to stand there and go "yea you guys need to fucking stop it" is both ignorant and sexist (yea sexism works both ways..or should) ALL people of BOTH sexes need to stop commiting rape. Its one of those subjcts that should be addressed as 1 universal wrong not just point the blame at one particular group of people.

If you want to know how lopsided the majority of peoples views on this are, with that women in wales who was done for raping her own son, she was give 7 years in jail (for incest) which means in practice for good behavior she could be out in 3 years, but they admited if it had been a guy who had done it he would have got LIFE in jail! WTF? can someone tell me the difference? A parent raped their own kid, why should the sex of the parent change the punishment?
At the same time if a guy rapes a woman (non-family) he gets between 7-10 years depending on the surcumstances, but a woman who rapes a guy can get away with doing 200 hours comunity service! tell me thats not wrong, sexist, and favouring women!
If something is wrong, then its wrong, it doesnt matter what your sex is. The punishment/blame should be the same.

I really have a hard time understanding this whole incest idea. that's not me trying to bash anyone but I can't understand why you'd have sexual feelings for your own relatives.

 

Actually I realized I was coming off sounding a little harsh on my last post. I didn't mean that I have a problem so much with someone who chooses incest but I agree with others that I have a problem if it's a father taking advantage of a daughter who is a minor.

Just the same, let me say that they are both bright bulbs, and are part of a select few here whose posts I actually read. So, your argument is: Things which have been going on for generations are acceptable, therefore incest is acceptable? By this logic, one would also be forced to find rape, murder, and genocide to be acceptable as they meet your criteria for having existed for multiple generations. A fine example of the fallacious appeal to the past.

I think what is meant by "taking advantage of" is that a person is abusing an asymmetry of information or authority to coerce, manipulate, or mislead another person into doing something that they would not do otherwise.
Young children are neither emotionally or intellectually developed enough to understand the emotional, social, legal, and medical consequences of sexual interaction. When one exploits this lack of development and information to get another to do something they might not if the information were available, one has taken advantage of another.

While you are absolutely right that minor is a legal construct, it is a legal construct that exists to protect the greatest possible number of young people from having their lack of information preyed upon, while withholding the right to grant consent from as few informed people as possible.

I have said it before and I'll say it again. It's not my cup of tea, but if you want to have sex with your relatives, can you at least wait until they are old enough to make informed decisions?

 

How knows if we will hear the end of incest or not.

While I adamantly agree with Porter and Bishop, I am appalled by the rampant cruelty that exists on this forum. People who claim to have been having sex with daddy since age nine need to be counseled and not berrated. If you had sexual relations with your father when you were a pre-pubescent child, YOU WERE RAPED! If you claim that you like abuse, you are only deluding yourself. You need to be brave and seek help. Go to a professional counselor or visit a church one Sunday and talk to a minister. Be brave and expand your sense of reality. For someone fairly new to this site, there seems to be a whole lot of haters on this thread. I grew up in the 60's and 70's, you know the free love era. Seems to me that most of the folks on this site just get into harmless fantasy to spice up their lives.
