Look at this way - Baller, for all his fire and gumption is always guaranteed to DEFEND his belief - even though he can no more prove what he believes (ie that there is a God) than you can prove, without a doubt - that there ISN'T!!

However, I've yet to see Baller or any other 'self confessed' Christian start a thread denouncing atheism. Ergo, the atheists 'of this parish' are the ones who are always bringing up the question, trying to ram home THEIR (non) beliefs.

But, in any case - one (ie everyone) should take a deep breath - and learn to co-exist without the need of belittlement from either side.

You seem to imply that there's some sort of equivalence between those two things. There is not. The ones proposing some extra object within the universe (god) are the ones who need proof of it. Otherwise, we dismiss the proposal as useless.

My first post in this thread was, in fact stating that I agreed with Baller - that the OP was posting drivel - have you actually read what he put btw? - I did not, nor have I ever expoused my own personal beliefs/non beliefs. For all anyone here knows, I could have started my own darned religion.

However, such is the mind of the atheist that they see 'battle' where there is none. Both Baller and myself commented directly on the OP, and not the content nor the religious aspect. Surely it IS allowed for people to disagree with the atheist way?

Because their whole system depends on belittling people who believe in anything, the same way that a lot of those type of people's sense of self comes from comparing themselves to others.
