If people want to do drugs they are affecting themselves - and not underage kids - its completely different imo

 

I don't think it is the fact that CP is illegal, I believe that it has to do with in order to take pictures, film, etc... CP you have to first injure the child in the process. To put is plainly, to have a picture of drugs doesn't actually require you to be committing an illegal act, but to have sex with a child well... there is some act of wrong doing in having sex with the minor, as well as filming/ photographing a minor who is having sex.

So I don't think morality is the issue-

 

actually to take a picture of a bunch of drugs yes you are doing something illegal (its called possession of a controlled substance). And i am not saying im against REAL child porn, but in a story or animated pictures (while i am also against it i defend peoples right to draw and write what they want)

I think it is within a person's legal right to be able to write a story/draw a picture that there is no legal recourse against that person (unless it refers to a specific act of child abuse) That being said- I think it is disgusting for people to write such a story or draw a picture of such acts.

as i said personally im against child porn in all forms, but i will defend someones right to draw or write what they want.

you used a very key phrase there "I don't believe" so what just cause that is what you believe its true? I would rather take the chance that hell even 1% of pedophiles would be fine with just reading a story maybe even have some animated pictures with it then they wouldnt have to go out hunting for little kids. It is not like having a story is going to cause someone to do it, if they are reading the story then they odds are have fantasies already so they would just go act on it sooner.

i dont ahve kids and am personally against it, however id rather someone was drawing and writing then taking advantage of real kids.

There is no evidence that outside stimulants make people go out and copy what they see/read about. To suggest such a thing would only give cause to stop reporting news stories about paedophiles. They're there in our papers, on our television screens, the radio etc. Who's to say what turns people to take that extra step? To go that bit further and act out their fantasies on minors?

The reason pedo's aren't legally allowed images of children, even innocent images we see on google every day - is because they are known to be sexually aroused by children. Even fully clothed!!
