I don't know would try an use it for well other than just a one night stand... maybe i would have better luck with e harmony

um, i got a lot of "winks" everyday, and the people that winked were "matches" or whatever, so if you want someone that has very similar interests as you then try it. you fill out a profile, and then other people that have profiles can see what they have in common with you. i hope i explained that right!

honestly..fling . com isnt even worth it..most of them are couples on there..its almost lke this but u got to pay so its not even worth it to pay...ive been on that site before and i just used it for fun. when it was free lol

I know they're an advertiser on here, but this is by far the worst dating site I've ever used, much less paid for, and quite honestly, I feel pretty pathetic admitting I was taken... but just wanted to take the opportunity to warn any others who might consider this site:

I thought they were fairly legit (after all, they advertise on here, and I've seen reviews of them in comparison to adultfriendfinder, etc. However, among other things their website doesn't even function correctly, and currently, I haven't even been able to log in for the last 3 weeks, and they re-charged my credit card US$60 (without telling me) about the same time I wasn't able to log in any more.

I'll start with the minor annoyances and work to the more significant ones. First of all, fling.com claims that they work harder to fight spammers and fake profiles more than any other site. Perhaps this may be true, but it must work as a call to challenge all the would-be-fakers, as there are more webcam girls per personal ad there than any other place I've noticed.

The function of the website itself is very "buggy". (Yes, I've tried logging in from different computers and different browsers and different ISPs) Often times I'll get a notice in my e-mail stating that I have an e-mail or a "friend" request (inevitably from a webcam girl thousands of miles away). When I log-in, my mail box shows as empty, including my "sent messages" box. Often times my "friends" list is also completely blank with a message stating: "you need to browse more personals to make friends". Now, granted the "friends" that do show up in the list are 99% webcam girls and even so, I could hardly call them friends anyway. Sometimes after clicking on the browser's "REFRESH" icon repeatedly, the various lists (messages, friends, etc) become populated. Then when you click on the "new" message there's a good chance you'll see a message stating that the person who wrote the message no longer exists. Hit refresh a few times, and suddenly you can read the message from the webcam girl.

About a month after paying for a membership ($60), I found I couldn't even log in. Thinking that somehow I must have had a minor stroke and forgotten my password, I asked for my username password, which was promptly e-mailed to me. Great, at least that function worked just fine. The username/password was exactly what I had been trying... so I tried copying and pasting, just in case... still no luck. I wrote customer service an e-mail. They told me to clear my cache, cookies, etc... Still no go. I talked to customer service on the phone. They kept telling me my account was in "good standing", and that I should try clearing my IE cache... when that didn't work (again), they told me they'd forward my problem to technical support, who would contact me. Well, they never did, but a couple days later I found I could log in again.

Well, I had read on the website when I first paid for my membership that they don't renew your membership automatically. So, I figured I could just let my membership expire, and count this a lesson learned for dealing with relatively obscure adult dating sites... I basically stopped logging in, as I had pretty much given up on getting it to work right anyway, much less actually meet anyone who was actually "real" and somewhat attractive.

However, my Credit Card was charged on the last day of my membership, so I went to fling.com to try to find out why... and discovered that once again, I couldn't log in. Went through the same process of contacting them, and getting the exact same answers... except this time when I asked on the phone, why my membership was automatically renewed, I was told that it was their policy to do so.

I wrote a few more messages complaining about the fact that I'm being charged for a service I cannot access. They wrote back apologizing that I was having difficulty, but that there was nothing they could do to fix it, and that my problem would be forwarded to the tech support department and they would contact me within 48 hours. However, it's now been 5 days since then, and I haven't heard anything... and so far, almost 3 weeks since I've been able to log in to the site.

I've been pretty much an "internet" nerd ever since BBS', Compuserve and AOL, but have never in my life had this kind of difficulty with any site--paid or free!

So, just thought I'd offer this as a warning to anyone who might be as dumb as me.

 

Think about this: If you are meeting people who need to use a computer to breed, there is probably something wrong with them. Take me for example... DO IT!!!

i found fling to be a boring website. most of the chicks that were actually on weren't great looking.
