It's 11:am and just finished my first cup of tea.
It's highly unusual for me to get much sleep, but for some reason last night, down for the count.
I'm not sure how I feel about that yet?

I've been spending a lot of time working at restoring a sailboat, and find myself working well into the night.
I love what I'm doing so the time goes by way too fast, and on occasion until sunrise. OOPS.
Morning is my favorite time of day, so on those occasions where I find myself greeting the sunrise, I find it almost a religious experience. Birds start chirping, sometimes a lite fog, seemingly mystical. I can never get enough of it.

 

Well that sounds heavenly to me hun, you must feel so proud seeing your work progress, and in those conditions too.
think of it that if you had a woman waiting for you in bed, she would only complain that you were spending too much time with your project and wouldnt allow you to snuggle close ......do you feel better now

I don't think it's a sense of pride seeing my work progress, it's more a sense of relief that with each bit completed takes me closer to being on the water again.
It's the only thing on my bucket list, sailing away on one big, long, trip.
The thing is, it would be horribly unfair to have a woman waiting for me when in all likelihood, I'd be sailing away leaving her with the uncertainty of whether or not I'd even be able to return.
I'd love to have someone in my life, and not to have someone is leaving a huge hole in my personal little world. But like I said, it would be horribly unfair to develop a relationship at this time in my life.

Women are far more than just someone to shag!
When In the past I've been with someone I care about, they're what has made me feel whole.
I revel in their warmth, love to be with them, talk with them, especially about things that are important to them and see their expressions as they express their desires and dreams.
For me not to be with someone and keep a woman at arms length because of my upcoming adventure is by far the most difficult thing I've ever had to do. To be honest, I've never been so lonely but this is something "I have to do" and dreamed of since I was a boy.
