watched the most recent family guy episode just there. i managed to suffer through it cuz its family guy but i still wasnt happy. compare this with the latest simpsons episode which i switched off after 8.5 mins because it was so crap and we have ourselves a problem. south park is the only one seemingly consistent. discuss...

i was just kidding, i think the Flintstones were on Friday nights at one time, i wish i would of created South Park, such a simple idea along with their insanity equaled big time success, the Simpsons have been on since before i was born i think.

Family Guy never really did it for me. Juvenile male humor isn't my thing. The Simpson's have been around for 20 years they were bound to run out of something to say.
South Park is the top of the heap now, Hysterical! Although Moral Oral and Venture Brothers on Adult Swim are pretty funny too.

Somehow Deidre I thought you were much older than the Simpsons, somewhere around my age. *shrugs*

When you have to deal with the crap censoring of broadcast tv, i wouldnt call ANY of the "adult" cartoons adult. Semi-adult maybe and some of them do quite well with their innuendo on occasion. I could do without the blood, guts and gore, but thats just me

After looking at this post I realised it is a wall of text. Nothing really to read here just my opinions on the shows named so far and one other. Just giving you a warning so you don't waste your time trying to read it.

I was sick of Family Guy a long time ago it was to random and tries to hard to be funny. American Dad is a ok show I like it better than Family Guy. I forgot about Home Movies that was a awesome show. Venture Brothers is probably the best one right now. King Of The Hill is ok but can be boring at times. Aqua Teen is always random and usually makes no sense I quit watching after season four. I watched one episode of Moral Oral I didn't like it. I dislike South Park now I don't know why it just isn't funny anymore. The Simpsons have been on for a long time. I think they should have pulled the plug on that show long ago. Futurama is a good show but I don't care for the movies. Sit Down, Shut Up is ok nothing really hilarious but it's a good show that I think will be cancelled before season two.

Yeah I think simpsons has had it's day, family guy is going that way, south park still has it's moments, futurama might have another couple of good series left.

I think they should bring back god, the devil and bob.

 

shows like the simpsons etc used to be good but as the people watching it got younger and younger, it got more and more crap.

same with most shows that were meant for adults, and it happens to games as well...

american dad, king of the hill and family guy are still awesome to me, and south park has to be one of my favourite shows, it's managed to keep funny... but i know they'll all go downhill soon.

one show i'll always love, however, is robot chicken. it took me a while to decide whether i liked it or not but seth green's a legend lol.

drawn together was always good too.

 

I don't know what this is going to reveal about me, but I used to really like "Daria". I think I was kind of a cross between Daria and Jane Lane in high school.

I loved Daria I still watch it now and then. I always liked Jane she was awesome.

 

Daria was and still is awesome. They pulled the show before its used by date unlike some of the above mentioned shows. Best cartoon ever
