I have had a few ingrown hair that have gotten pretty ugly like that. I don't think it's a STD but I would go to the doctor if there is soreness to the touch because it could be infected. But I wouldn't worry if there is only this one dump

 

its not an ingrown hair babe - and its probably not a big bite either. get it checked out, be safe. there are always free test sites - i dont have insurance but have gotten myself tested three times in the last year. google combinations of things like "free health clinic" or "std testing" but make sure to include your area. no need to freek about seeing a dr. its confidential and will benfit you in the long run!

 

Have you googled images of those? That looks nothing like them. But way to be a pig about it.

listening to other people's theory as to what it could be is not a good idea especially on the internet. not sure why you wont go to a doctor but they can be trusted if its because your doctor knows the family book into one in the next town go through and see them they are 100% confidential you have to see what it is for your own peace of mind.

 

second that-all clinics are confidential and if you dont have health insurance they have to diagnose/treat by law!

I was pre-med, for what that's worth. That is so far from your genitals that it's some sort of skin condition (ingrown hair, pimple, some small object trapped under the skin that has formed a cyst, etc). You should have it checked, for sure. But IMHO, not an STD; very low probability as long as that's the only spot affected. Pay the cost for a Dr. visit, should be less than $100, and you can still feel 'clean' when you go, ha ha. Just do it, or it will drive you crazy...

Does it hurt, is it growing fast? If not it can also be a fibroma (or soft fibroma). If it is, it's completely harmless, besides the fact that it might be a bit of a scare for future partners.

I know it's tough for you to see a doctor but if you want to be sure, you definitely should visit on. He can also remove it quite easily, but that's not necessary in the case of a fibroma.
