    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

    The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    My parents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in June. (Can you imagine?) It boggles my mind. They still do everything together and I am so happy for them. I celebrate my divorce...with my ex no less.
    Anyway I am in great need of some gift ideas for the Golden Anniversary. Some clever kind of touching, thoughtful, present that doesn't cost too much. Come on and impress me, I am as bad at this kind of thing as I was at being married. My marriage lasted a whole 3 years, but after being divorced for 25 we are still best friends. I guess my divorce wasn't much of a success either...

    What about giving them a pretty blank book or journal filled with an entry or a highlight for each year they've been married? You could also include pictures.

    You need to tell us what they like to do and what interests them??? I got my grandparents gold candleholders from a local jewelry store...They usually have everything by the time they've been married that long...

    You could make them a book of different things that happened the year they were married...You could include ads, cars, clothes...It would be a trip down memory lane for them...I'm sure you could find most of that stuff on your computer...Go to your local newspaper and get a copy of the paper from that day...:cool:

    As far as their interests.... they do everything. Dad will be 69 in November and they travel a lot. They spent 5 weeks in Europe last summer. They came back talking about the nude beaches in Spain. Dad says yeah your mother don't have any tan lines either hehe....
    They are certified scuba divers. They love Mexico.
    They garden and spend lots of time at the lake on the weekends where they have a lake house and a 38' yacht.
    What the hell....they don't need anything from me, just nevermind.... :(

    I don't know if they like that kind of stuff, but you could also get a digital fotoframe and put all kinds of pictures on it. The family, the two of them, pictures of vacations and all that.
